FURY has erupted in Sweden after it emerged that more than 20 girls have been sexually assaulted at a popular festival

Police confirmed they have received 22 reports from women saying they have been attacked during the We are Stockholm event.

Officials said seven complaints came on the festival’s first day on Tuesday this week, with another 15 reported by Thursday.

Stockholm police added the figure was expected to increase as the event is still ongoing.

They also refused to disclose the nationality of the suspected assailants.

Police spokesman Kjell Lindgren said: “Many report the incidents a while after the assault happened, so there is reason to believe the figure will increase.”

The official said the majority of the reports had involved men groping girls in the crowd.

Mr Lindgren added police had identified the assailants in about half the reported incidents as he said it is believed the same person had committed several assaults.

Police officer Mats Eriksson said the reported attacks had happened while the artists were on stage.

He added: “It is difficult to identify the perpetrators because there are so many people in a small area.

“Many [girls] say they have experienced an assault, but have no idea of who did it.”

The assaults come after the We are Stockholm music festival has been heavily criticised for covering up a series of sex attacks during last years arrangement.

It only came to light after the Cologne assaults in Germany on New Years Eve, the event’s management was slammed for not informing the public about girls as young as 12 being attacked by migrant youths.

Sweden has been hit by a series of shocking attacks this summer and young girls have now turned on the police after they urged the teenagers to wear bracelets telling men “not to grope”.

Mahr or Less: Sharia Seeps Into Swedish Divorce Law

The Swedish Supreme Court may finally approve the tacit endorsement of Sharia Law when it rules on the validity of prenuptial agreements, according to lawyer Fatemeh Sanaei Nasab of the Iranian Ministry of Justice.

In an interview with Sputnik, lawyer Fatemeh Sanaei Nasab of the Iranian Ministry of Justice said that the Swedish Supreme Court will probably say "yes" to Sharia Law being applied to prenuptial agreements in Sweden.

The interview comes as the court deals with at least two cases related to whether the Iranian legislation is valid in the country.

In two separate cases, divorced husbands are at risk of being obliged to pay their former wives a hefty sum known as a mahr, or mandatory payment. Iranian brides receive it in the form of money or property from a groom or his father when a couple is married; the payment then legally becomes her property. In some cases, the bride must settle for an IOU.

In this regard, Nasab said that it is only natural that the cases are already on the table of the Supreme Court of Sweden.

"I think that as the issue of paying a mahr is related to the Iranian couples, it is quite logical that the court deemed it necessary to rely on Iran's legislative norms," she said.

Nasad added that the chances of the Iranian Sharia law being legally binding in Sweden will depend on how the international law agencies would look at the financial aspect of matrimonial relations, and what factors will be taken as a basis.

"If the Swedish Supreme Court decides to consider mahr under civil law and take into account national factors, I will estimate the chances of cultivating Iranian laws as very high as far as the court's final decision is concerned," she pointed out.
Swedish media reported that one case is related to a couple who married in Iran in 2006 and arrived in Sweden afterwards. The District Court ruled that the case should be handled in accordance with Swedish law, which means that an Iranian woman's former husband is not obliged to honor the mahr.

In another case, an Iranian woman claims that her rights would be infringed if she does not receive money amounting to about 1.5 million kronor (approximately $181,000), in line with the mahr payment, which is typically specified in the marriage contract signed during an Islamic marriage.

The court also heard the depraved father-of-two cut off his wife’s nose and upper lip.

Public Prosecutor Tomas Malmenby urged the court to sentence the alleged murderer to life in jail.

The alleged honour killing happened in Stockholm's suburb of Årsta.

According to a psychiatric report the 52-year-old man was of sound mind when he allegedly murdered his wife on September 10 last year.

In Mr Malmenby’s closing statement at The District Court of Södertörn he demanded the suspect be jailed for the “brutal violence”.

He told the court: “It happened in her home, a place where you feel the greatest security.

“It has hit the two children [hard]. Within a few minutes they lost both their parents. The violence has been brutal and extensive.”

Mr Malmenby told the court that the woman, who was in her 40s, had been subjected to long-term suffering.

He told the court: “It was a prolonged process. She must have felt the agony of death [coming]."

The woman allegedly died in the bedroom of the couple’s home after being stabbed 66 times.

The court heard that the husband could only remember being in the hallway with a knife in his hand.

According to Mr Malmenby the murdered woman had defensive wounds, suggesting she fought her alleged attacker.

Testifying in court, a neighbour of the pair said that desperate cries from a woman could be heard on the night in question.

Mr Malmenby said: “There are no extenuating circumstances. 66 stab wounds is not [in the heat of the moment].”

The man's Defence Counsel, lawyer Serpil Güngör, said in her final statement that her client should be given a fixed-term sentence - not life.

A ruling is expected on February 10.

Swedish Court Hands Out Light Sentence to Muslim Teen Rapists


A light sentence has been handed out to six teenage boys, aged 15 to 17, from the diverse Muslim community in Sweden for raping a 15-year-old girl in a north-western suburb of Stockholm in March. Five of the teens were found guilty of aggravated rape by the Solna District Court, with the sixth guilty of attempted aggravated rape.

Five of the boys were sentenced to over one hundred hours of community service each, and have been ordered to pay 55,000 kronor ($8,500) each, in damages to the victim. The punishment given to the sixth, if any, was not reported.

The reason given for the light punishment was the fact that the boys are minors. The Swedish court also concluded that the boys had already been already punished to some extent by having their pictures and their personal details exposed on the internet.

The attack took place in early March at an apartment in Tensta, where teens took turns raping the girl. Four of the boys confessed but denied that they committed any crime.

It is worth noting that the court never doubted that the incident took place and that it was rape. The court found the girl's testimony to be "a cohesive, long, and relatively detailed account" that did not contain "any contradictions or elements to the story that could be considered inexplicable"

Ironically, although the UN ranks Sweden high on the list when it comes to women's rights, a highly publicized study shows that Sweden has become the second highest rape capital of the world (after South Africa) and the highest incidents of reported rapes in Europe, twice as many as the UK, the runner-up country and six times as many of the U.S.

The incidences of rape have shot up as Sweden has accepted immigrants from Muslim countries. Although Muslims now make up 6 % of the Swedish population, 77.6% of all rape crimes are committed by Muslims.

Statistics now suggest that 1 out of every 4 Swedish women will be raped in her lifetime (Between the ages of 16-79), with the statistics higher in urban centers where the immigrants cluster. In Stockholm last summer there was an average of five rapes reported per day, with the largest increases being found in children under 15. Stockholm is now made up of one-third immigrant and is between a fifth and a quarter Muslim.

Sixth night of Stockholm riots as Britain, US issue warnings


STOCKHOLM: Stockholm experienced a sixth straight night of riots early Saturday, with cars torched in several immigrant-dominated suburbs, as Britain and the United States warned against travelling to the hotspots.

Nearly a week of unrest, which spread briefly Friday night to the medium-sized city of Oerebro 160 kilometers (100 miles) west of Stockholm, have put Sweden's reputation as an oasis of peace and harmony at risk.

The unrest has also sparked a debate among Swedes over the integration of immigrants, many of whom arrived under the country's generous asylum policies, and who now make up about 15 percent of the population.

An AFP photographer witnessed a car engulfed in flames before firefighters arrived in the Stockholm district of Tensta. Cars were incinerated in three other areas of the capital as well, according to the Swedish news agency TT.

"I've never before taken part in anything that lasted so long and was spread over such a wide area," police spokesman Lars Bystroem told TT.

Another police official said earlier that Stockholm police were about to receive reinforcements from Gothenburg and Malmoe, the country's second- and third-largest cities, but declined to disclose how many would arrive.

In the city of Oerebro, police reported a fire at a school as well as several cars ablaze, but quiet had returned around midnight. The unrest in Stockholm had "rubbed off", police told TT.

About 200 right-wing extremists were reported to cruise around Stockholm suburbs in their cars late Friday, but intense police surveillance apparently prevented any kind of serious violence.

The nightly riots have prompted Britain's Foreign Office and the US embassy in Stockholm to issue warnings to their nationals, urging them to avoid the affected suburbs.

Firefighters were dispatched to 70 fires the night between Thursday and Friday, extinguishing torched cars, dumpsters and buildings, including three schools and a police station, the fire department wrote on Twitter. This was down from 90 blazes the night before.

Parents and volunteer organisations who have patrolled the streets in recent nights have helped decrease the intensity of the unrest, police have said.

Police, who have so far concentrated on putting out fires, are beginning to round up people suspected of criminal acts, so far arresting at least 29.

"Even if we don't intervene, we regularly make video recordings and get information from the public. That way we can get people a couple of days later," police spokesman Bystroem told TT.

The troubles had begun in the suburb of Husby, where 80 percent of inhabitants are immigrants, triggered by the fatal police shooting of a 69-year-old Husby resident last week after the man wielded a machete in public.

Local activists said the shooting sparked anger among youths who claim to have suffered from police brutality and racism.

One of the rioters in Husby told Swedish Radio that racism was rampant where he lived, and that violence was his only way of being noticed.

"We burned cars, threw rocks at police, at police cars. But it's good, because now people know what Husby is... This is the only way to be heard," said the rioter, identified only by the pseudonym Kim.

Stockholm county police chief Mats Loefving said Friday the rioters were local youths with and without criminal records.

In addition, "in the midst of all this there is a small group of professional criminals, who are taking advantage of the situation to commit crimes like this," he told Swedish Radio.

A 25-year-old who grew up in Husby said he didn't think the riots had anything to do with the shooting.

"I'm not saying there are no problems... but people are glorifying this a little bit," said the man, who declined to be named, adding that the rioters were often aged 12 to 17.

"I can imagine they get a big kick out of seeing themselves on TV," he said.

Due to its liberal immigration policy, Sweden has in recent decades become one of Europe's top destinations for immigrants, both in absolute numbers and relative to its size.

But many of those who have arrived struggle to learn the language and find employment, despite numerous government programmes.

Official data show unemployment was 8.8 percent in Husby in 2012, compared to 3.3 percent in Stockholm as a whole.

Eric Zemmour, a right-wing French commentator known for his controversial views, meanwhile told RTL radio the riots showed that the Swedish "kingdom of social democracy and of political correctness" was little different from countries like Britain and France.

A municipality in the Swedish capital of Stockholm has allowed the recitation of adhan, the call to prayer, through minaret speakers, in an unprecedented move.

Islamic Cultural Center of Botkyrka, a municipality in Stockholm mostly populated by immigrants, applied almost a month ago to municipal authorities, seeking permission for recitation of the adhan before Friday prayers through speakers in the minaret of the Fittja Mosque, located within the boundaries of Botkyrka.

The municipal council recently convened and unanimously approved the request. İsmail Okur, the head of the Islamic center, told the Anatolia news agency that the first adhan will be broadcast in March after the technical preparations are completed.

“The authorities will measure the sound level. According to the rules, the sound of the adhan shall reach two kilometers at most from the mosque,” Okur remarked, referring to the regional authorities who granted permission for the adhan recitation through minaret speakers.

He further stated that Botkyrka is a region mostly populated by Muslims and the Fittja Mosque is the only mosque in Sweden that has a minaret.

Woman admits to killing her infant with Koran


A woman who confessed to suffocating her 5-month-old child with the family's copy of the Koran is on trial in western Sweden, with her defense team arguing she had a psychotic breakdown, possibly due to postpartum depression.

"I didn't want to kill him, I wanted to save him," the 28-year-old woman said during a hearing on Tuesday at the Halmstad District Court, according to the Aftonbladet newspaper.

The incident occurred in late July, when the woman met her husband at his workplace, where she told him she wasn't feeling well.

“I told her that we couldn't speak there, and that we could discuss it at home," the husband said in court, according to the Expressen paper.

"At the same time, I suggested she could read passages from the Koran for support, as we’re both Muslims."

However, when he arrived home the father found his child dead with 39 wounds to its body, the majority of which were caused by the holy book.

The 28-year-old mother was subsequently charged with murder, with an alternative charge of aggravated manslaughter.

“The woman intentionally killed her child. She smothered it to death and the Koran was the murder weapon,” prosecutor Anders Johansson said in court, according to Expressen.

The 28-year-old woman has confessed to the murder, blaming her actions on visions which became increasingly vivid in the weeks leading up to the killing.

“I saw horns growing out of the baby's forehead and long vines on his body. I saw an old man's head on his body. I wanted to save my baby, not kill him," she said in court.

The woman's defence lawyer argued his client was in a "psychotic state" when she committed the infanticide, something which experts suggest could be linked to postpartum depression.

“Some people can get so depressed that they want to die, and killing their own child is a type of extended suicide, with the intention of taking their life with your own,” Karin Monsen-Börjesson, psychiatrist and expert on postpartum depression at the Karolinska University Hospital, told The Local.

She explained that the condition has been linked to a number of infant murders.

“When you have any kind of depression you can become a lot more sensitive when you have a small child. But this kind of incident is very, very rare in Sweden,” Monsen-Börjesson said.

Citing his client's condition, the woman's defense lawyer argued that the 28-year-old should not be sentenced to prison for killing her five-month-old son.

“My client was in a psychotic state. She had no intention to kill and considering how she was feeling; she had no way of predicting what might happen,” lawyer Göran Ruthberg told Expressen.

Since her arrest, the 28-year-old has been staying at a psychiatric clinic, and doctors there agree that she was in a psychotic state at the time of the killing.

Fighting back fits of sobbing at the trial, the woman's husband nevertheless had kind words for his wife despite the fact that she killed their infant child.

"She was a good mother and a good wife. I hope she can get help now," he said, according to Aftonbladet.

Four Muslims, who invaded Sweden in various forms of immigration, began their trial in Denmark for plotting a Mumbai-style terror attack on the newspaper offices in Copenhagen - the same paper that published the Danish "Mo cartoons."

Four men went on trial in Denmark on Friday accused of plotting a “Mumbai-style” attack on the offices of a Danish newspaper whose publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in 2005 outraged many Muslims.

The three Swedish citizens and one Tunisian pleaded not guilty to charges of terrorism and three of the four pleaded not guilty to illegal possession of weapons. Prosecutors have said they could face life sentences if found guilty.

They are accused of plotting to kill a large number of people in an armed attack on the offices of the daily Jyllands-Posten in Copenhagen’s Town Hall square at the end of 2010 and with trying to terrify the population.

“It is our perception that an unknown number of people were to be killed by shooting,” chief prosecutor Gyrithe Ulrich told TV2 News outside the courthouse before the trial began.

Standing trial are Mounir Ben Mohamed Dhahri, a Tunisian citizen, and three Swedish citizens – Lebanese-born Munir Awad, Omar Abdalla Aboelazm, born in Sweden to a Swedish mother and an Egyptian father, and Sahbi Ben Mohamed Zalouti, of Tunisian origin.

All four were living in Sweden at the time of their arrest in December 2010, three days before the alleged attack was to have been carried out.

This is an important trial in that it showcases just what has been going on in Europe...the fact that these are all basically home-grown Islamic terroists - these weren't Pakistani terrorists stealing into India under the cover of darkness to kill Jews and Hindus...these were Swedes, Islamic allbeit, who were planning this. Europeans are at the point where they have to watch all of the people in their country as well as from neighboring countries. And the fact of the matter is that the islamists have been living in these countries in Europe for just this kind of action - to kill and continue the terror which they hope brings them dominance.

Zalouti’s lawyer asked Plaehn to point the gun at the floor, and not wave it around in the air.

Denmark’s state security police (PET) have said the attack was meant to be like the 2008 shooting spree in Mumbai, when 10 Pakistani gunmen killed 166 people in a three-day coordinated assault on city landmarks, including two hotels and a Jewish centre.

The PET said the men belonged to a militant religious group and had links to international terrorist networks.

Jyllands-Posten was the paper that first published a dozen cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), provoking protests in 2006 against Danish interests abroad and riots in countries from the Middle East and Africa to Asia in which at least 50 people died.

The trial continues and a verdict is expected shortly after it ends around June 15.

Mohammed Cartoonist Pelted With Eggs at University Speech

I guess one might say that Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks might feel fortunate that he got pelted with eggs rather than RPG's at a speech at a Swedish university but it shows how this man will be plagued and hunted the rest of his life.

Now this isn't the cartoonist of the famous "Danish Mohammed cartoons" but rather Vilks was the artist that portrayed Mo on all fours looking a lot like a dog. LOL

According to a police statement, Lars Vilks was unharmed in the attack that occurred at Karlstad University in southwestern Sweden late Tuesday evening.

No one has yet been arrested for the assault, but police say they are investigating the incident.

The 65-year old artist has faced a string of threats over his 2007 sketch, which rekindled a debate over free speech and Islam that had raged a year earlier after a Danish newspaper printed 12 cartoons of Mohammad (PBUH).

Sweden’s Social Democrats argued on Monday for a review of Sweden’s public holidays, arguing that the country’s Muslim community should also be recognised.

“It was a long time ago that we reviewed it. Almost all of our public holidays, except for Midsummer and May 1st, have a Christian religious connection. Sweden is today a multicultural society, and it is worth looking at how it can be done,” Social Democrat party secretary Carin Jämtin said to the Svenska Dagbladet (SvD) daily.

It is probable that any decision to introduce a Muslim holiday would mean the replacement of an existing public holiday.

Carin Jämtin stated that the party does not believe that it is possible to add to the current number of public holidays, but was unwilling to speculate on possible alternatives.

Jämtin was however prepared to offer a suggestion on which day could serve as a Muslim holiday.

“One could consider whether Eid, the Muslim Christmas Eve, could be a public holiday,” she said, referring to Eid-al-Fitr, the feast at the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting.

The Swedish Humanist Association (Humanisterna) described the idea to introduce a Muslim holiday as “absurd”.

“Most people in Sweden are secularised. For example they don’t celebrate Christmas for Christian, religious reasons. It is simply an occasion to meet, eat good food and socialize. The same is the case for Muslims,” said the association’s chairperson Christer Sturmark.

“Christmas is furthermore not a Christian holiday originally. It was the day when the Romans celebrated the sun god.”

Sturmark also said that neither does he want to have a day for the secular community, instead favouring a pool of holidays which an individual can use whenever he or she so desires.

“Then you could take time off when you want. If you want to celebrate Ramadan then you could do so on one of the days from the pool,” he said.

Sweden currently has 11 official public holidays (röda dagar) – New Year’s Day, Epiphany, Good Friday, Easter Monday, May 1st (International Workers’ Day), Ascension Day, National Day, Midsummer’s Day, All Saints’ Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

There are a further eleven days designated as public holidays or flag days which do not carry the right to a day off from work. In practice many of these days include a half or full day’s holiday, often taken on the day before.

Sweden is already mired in problems arising from its unrequited love of Muslim immigrants.

Parts of cities such as Malmö are no-go areas for the Police and emergency services.

With up to up to 90% migrant unemployment in places and massive benefit dependency, it would be very difficult to argue that the massive surge of self-segregating Muslim immigrants into Sweden in recent years was resulting in any socio-economic benefits – apart from those accruing to the migrants themselves – at the direct expense of their hard working, tolerant and long-suffering hosts.

And yet the leftist Social Democrats are proposing that Swedes are given the opportunity to ‘celebrate’, with Muslim public holidays?

We trust Carin Jämtin will receive the appropriate backing for her proposal from the Swedish people.

Sweden: The Case of How Neutrality Doesn't Protect You From Islamic Terror

As most of you know, a percentage of the blood in my veins can be traced back to the country of Sweden and for many years now, I have pained over the assault on my "people" by the islamists. This article at Family Security Matters takes up the case that even a country like Sweden, which has tried its darndest to appease and placate the muslims in its society, can become a target of islamic terror overnight.

The recent bombing in Sweden was done by a jihadi who the Swedes simply could never have seen on their risk radar and they foolishly are trying to figure out how this happened. Well, it happened because that's why they came to the damn country in the first place!

The internet is always a vehicle for radicalization, but small cadres of global jihadists create the habitat that cultivates terrorists like Abdulwahab. Luton had been a known hotbed of radicalization long before July 7, 2005 (when four terrorists killed 52 and injured more than 2,000 in London).

The Swedes have now joined the community of nations besieged by Salafi terrorists. They may entertain notions of neutrality, but the jihadists who attack them don’t care.

It's hard to believe that the Swedes and the Europeans could be this naive to Islam but when I say that, I need to keep in mind just how naive the majority of Americans are right now to the same threat. The Qur'an, the blueprint for world domination by Islam, charts the course for jihad and forcing the submission of infidels - it is only when a person can grasp this that you can actually understand the true meaning of muslim immigration to the West.

Sure, this bombing in Sweden was tragic but what is really tragic is to see a country that birthed the Vikings laying down for domination. Sweden was lost years ago in this war against Islam. Right now, they are simply trying to survive.

Neutrality will not Shield Sweden from Terrorism


Until Taimour Abdulwahab al-Abdaly’s explosive belt went off prematurely in Stockholm last month, Sweden was the poster child for isolationism in the war on terror. While Abdulwahab’s bomb failed to achieve his desired result, it did obliterate the myth that nations can remain neutral to global terrorism.

Abdulwahab’s failed attack typifies the jihadis’ all-out war against “infidels.” He was a doctrinaire jihadist with ties to a local militant Islamist organization, and his attack didn’t spring up out of nowhere. There had already been warning signs that terrorists were mobilizing against the Scandinavian democracy. Militants had threatened Swedish artist Lars Vilks for his satirical cartoon portrayal of the prophet Mohammed, attacking his home and attempting to murder him with an axe. Others threatened Vilks.

The Iraq-born Abdulwahab was a member of the Facebook group “Islamic Caliphate State.” He lived in Luton in Bedfordshire, England, which has been home to many radical Islamists.

Swedish authorities claimed that Abdulwahab had been “completely unknown” to them before the blast, and that they were trying to ascertain when he was first “radicalized.” Swedish prosecutor Tomas Lindstrand said that the country’s security apparatus “was not a Stasi organization engaged in analyzing people’s Facebook pages.”

The irony is that Abdulwahab’s musings on Facebook are the only evidence of his radicalism prior to the attack.

Farasat Latif, the secretary of the Luton mosque to which Abdulwahab belonged, said, “Despite Abdulwahab’s extreme views nothing pointed to the fact that he was going to do something stupid.”

Last Sunday, the al Qaeda-affiliated Shumokh al-Islam website posted a message calling Abdulwahab a “brother” and quoted a prayer that says “God let me die as you are satisfied with me.”

British and Swedish Authorities Admit They Have Been Asleep At the Wheel Fighting Homegrown Islamic Terror

I know that headline isn't going to set anyone's mouth agape but it is significant now that both British and Swedish security authorities admit they have negligent in addressing the severity of terror activity in their countries and what comes through loud and clear (between the lines) is that they have been duped and lulled to sleep by Islam.

And before I go off on the "we warned you Europe" rant, I'm not going to - because America isn't doing a helluva lot better right now. Here in America we have authorities so frickin' paranoid and scared of "islamophobia" that they are allowing islamists in this country free reign over just about any behavior. There are times where I think we are literally handing a blank slate to the islamists and asking them just how they want to act in this country and we'll make it into law.

I want to discuss those last two sentences from the article posted above - that the British government invested all that time and all that effort into "engaging" the muslim community and got back-stabbed for it. That's my point - the muslims are con artists. Born liars. Let's just face it. If you don't understand the motives of Islam, if you don't understand the reasoning behind Sharia Law, and if you don't understand the ultimate goal of Islam - you simply are doomed. This is why I scream at you folks so much at this blog - you wouldn't be accommodating to a thief breaking into the back door of your house in the middle of the night so why be that to him when he comes to the front door in broad daylight?

Let me ask you one final question...When you look at Janet Napolitano, do you see an American champion for defense of our people or do you see an islamic appeaser modeled exactly like these incompetents in Britain and Sweden?

Questions abound about how and where Swedish bomber Taimour Abdulwahab al-Abdaly became radicalized. In 1992, 11-year-old Al-Abdaly immigrated with his family to Tranås, Sweden. According to an acquaintance, Jean Jalabian, he had girlfriends and drank alcohol. Jalabian told Swedish paper Expressen, "He was just like any other young man. He loved life, he had lots of friends and was out and partied just like anyone else."

His family and friends noted a change in his actions after he went to a university in Luton, England, where he received a degree in physical therapy and married a conservative Muslim woman. Expressen quoted a family friend who said following Al-Abdaly's time in England "that he became another person. It's hard to say how. He changed and became more restrictive." The effect was noticeable during a 2005 visit to Sweden, when Abdaly broke contact with old friends and appeared to have been become more withdrawn.

As al-Abdaly became more conservative, mosque goers at the Islamic Center of Luton [ICL] noted he became involved in radicalizing other youth. Radicalism of this type is not an uncommon theme among British Muslim youth. A 2007 report found that 40 percent of Muslims between 16 and 24 would rather live under sharia law in Britain, whereas one in eight admired groups like al-Qaida that "are prepared to fight the West." Sentiments like these, particularly on university campuses, contributed to the radicalization of British-educated Muslims like failed-Christmas Day Bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab and Waheed Zaman of the "Transatlantic liquid bomb" plot.

During the month of Ramadan 2007, al-Abdaly made extremist remarks at the mosque, which caused a confrontation between him and mosque leaders. "He was saying physical jihad was an obligation for all Muslims and saying that Muslim scholars are unreliable and untrustworthy because they are in the pockets of governments," Mosque Chairman Qadeer Baksh said. The mosque did not report Al-Abdaly to the police. ICL rejects violence, such as in a speech given after the 7/7 London attacks, although the same speech also condones forms of wife beating and promotes the conversion of Britain to Islam.

After the confrontation, media reports indicate that al-Abdaly began preaching radical content at his former university before briefly traveling to Yemen.

According to an audio message received by Swedish news sources, al-Abdaly traveled to the Middle East for the purpose of jihad. This has generated speculation that he may have joined and received training from the Islamic State of Iraq, a group which he admired on his FaceBook account and which responded with congratulations to his attack.

Al-Abdaly's case slipped under the radar of British and Swedish authorities, just as the British government missed signs of radicalization by Abdulmutallab or terrorist ideologue Anwar al-Awlaki. Al-Abdaly was not on a list of 200 radicals being monitored by Sweden's national security service, Säpo. "He was completely unknown to the security service and there was nothing on him from earlier," said Tomas Lindstrand, a prosecutor speaking for the Swedish government. In the wake of the attack, British Prime Minister Cameron acknowledged "We have not done enough to deal with the promotion of extremist Islamism in our own country."

Despite extensive and costly outreach efforts, a former lead British counter-terrorist office said the amount of information flowing to police from Britain's Muslim minority remained scant.

That sentiment is echoed in U.S. diplomatic cables disclosed by Wikileaks. An August 2006 cable stated that the Muslim community was "frustrated by the bruising" it had received from counterterrorism efforts. As a result, "prominent British Muslims sent an open letter to [former] PM Tony Blair… blaming his policy on Iraq and the Middle East for fueling extremism and putting British citizens at risk."

According to the cable, the British government reacted "angrily," with former British Foreign Minister Margaret Beckett calling the letter "part of a distorted view of the world, a distorted view of life." She also said, "Let's put the blame where it belongs: with people who want only want to take innocent lives." The U.S. cable assessed that the British government "has invested considerable time and resources in engaging the British Muslim community. The current tensions demonstrate just how little progress has been made."

Islamic Terrorists Attack Stockholm, 1 Dead In Double Bombing

Yesterday in Stockholm, Sweden, two separate terrorist bombing attacks occurred in the same area of the downtown area which was filled with holiday shoppers. The first explosion was a vehicle loaded with gas canisters that was set off and then moments later, a second explosion went off as a suicide bomber detonated his suicide belt.

The bombs apparently were inexpertly crafted and failed to detonate to full capacity. Two people were wounded in the bombings, which took place in a street filled with Christmas shoppers.

Only minutes before the attacks, the Swedish Security Police (SAPO) had received an email warning, with sound files in both Swedish and Arabic, referring to the presence of Swedish forces in Afghanistan and to the cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed by Swedish artist Lars Viks, Reuters reported.

"Our actions will speak for themselves, as long as you do not end your war against Islam and humiliation of the Prophet and your stupid support for the pig Viks," the speaker threatened on the tape, as reported by Swedish news agency TT.

The message threatened the Swedish state and its people, according to the BBC, saying the time had come for them to die "like our brothers and sisters." It also exhorted militant Muslims in Sweden and Europe to rise up against the West.

This attack now adds Sweden to the list of countries that have now felt the brunt of islamic terror and one conclusion you can come to in all of this is that the islamists are STILL plenty pissed off about that famous "Mo cartoon."

One other learning from this for the Swedes is this - no matter how much you appease the islamists, no matter how much you give in to them on Sharia Law, on immigration and on their demands for special treatment, this is how they will repay you. Sweden has no troops in Iraq. Sweden has no troops in Afghanistan. But today they are mopping up from a terrorist attack. No one is safe from Islam and hopefully, this Swedish attack will prove to everyone that destroying the islamists is the only known deterrent.

Just two weeks ago, Abu Zaid, a member of the Somali-based, al Qaeda-linked Shabaab, issued a videotape threatening Viks.

"We will get hold of you and with Allah's permission we will catch you wherever you are and in whatever hole you are hiding in,' Zaid said. "Know what awaits you, as it will be nothing but this: slaughter! For that is what you deserve.... To my brothers and sisters, I call you to make (migration), and if you can kill this dog called Lars, then you will receive a great reward from Allah."

Within recent months, the terror alert in Sweden has been raised to his highest level in five years, amid concerns about possible Mumbai-styled terror plots targeting European cities. In early October, the Swedish Security service said that "a handful" of Swedish citizens had traveled to Pakistan for training at terror camps. Later that month, it was reported that two of three men arrested in connection to a bomb threat in central Gothenburg remained in custody, while police were working closely with SAPO to forestall any possible plots.

Today's bombing bears some similarity to the failed Times Square bombing in New York City on May 1, 2010, in which a relatively small operation attempted a significant attack in a major metropolitan area. As in that case, apparently poor bomb-making skills prevented today's attack from causing extensive harm.

Swedish Prosecuter Seeks Detention of WikiLeaks' Assange On Rape Accusations

It seems that WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, isn't just in trouble with the U.S. military and our intelligence community - nope, he's up to his neck in it with a prosecutor in Sweden who says two Swedish women have come forward with charges that Assange raped and coerced them in Sweden back in August.

I can just see this if it gets to trial - who will the defense actually put on the stand as a character witness for this scumbag? I mean, seriously, we have a man who knowingly and willingly put the lives of thousands of American troops in danger along with tens of thousands of Iraqi and Afghan troops and citizens. A reasonable jury would find this asswipe guilty even if these women were lying through their teeth.

But I'm sure these women are spot on with their allegations - this guy, Assange, is bottom of the barrel - scum of the earth. I'd like to see the Swedish courtroom filled with U.S. Marines and soldiers ... at that point, Assange would probably ask his attorney to plead him out guilty and arrange for 5 years in prison just so he'll feel safe.

Sweden seeks to detain Assange in rape case


STOCKHOLM (AP) - A Swedish prosecutor requested a court order Thursday to detain WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange for questioning on suspicion of rape, sexual molestation and unlawful coercion.
Assange has denied the allegations, which stem from his encounters with two women during a visit to Sweden in August.

The Stockholm District Court was to rule on the request later Thursday. The move could mean that prosecutors are preparing an international arrest warrant for the Australian, whose whereabouts was not immediately clear.

"The reason for my request is that we need to interrogate him," Director of Public Prosecution Marianne Ny said in a statement. "So far, we have not been able to meet with him to accomplish the interrogation."

WikiLeaks has angered the Pentagon by releasing thousands of classified U.S. war reports from Afghanistan and Iraq.

Assange had considered setting up a base for WikiLeaks in Sweden, where some of its servers are located, but Swedish immigration authorities denied him a residence permit. Earlier this month, he said he may apply for asylum in Switzerland instead.

Court documents filed by the prosecutor show Assange is suspected of raping and sexually molesting a woman in the town of Enkoping, central Sweden. He's suspected of sexual molestation and unlawful coercion of the second woman, in Stockholm.

A police report obtained by The Associated Press shows that both women had met Assange in connection with a seminar he gave in Stockholm on Aug. 14. The report shows the women filed their complaints together six days later.

Investigators initially disagreed on how to deal with the case.

A Stockholm prosecutor started a rape investigation that was dropped by the city's chief prosecutor a day later. Ny reopened it the following week.

Assange has complained that he and his group are being targeted and persecuted by intelligence agencies from the United States and elsewhere who are angry over the leaks of secret military documents.

Muslim In Sweden Gets 22 Months For Assaulting and Killing 78 Yr Old Woman, Swedish Website Hides the Fact He Is Muslim

Sometimes you just have to repeat the old saying, "I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it." But a 23 yr old Muslim man in Sweden attacked and assaulted a 78 yr old Swedish woman causing her death and his guilty sentence amounts to 22 months in prison. That's 22 MONTHS folks, not YEARS.

And just to rub salt in the wounds of the Swedish people, the website, The Local here, refuses to even post the name of the killer and doesn't even fess up to the point that this barbarian is even muslim. By the way, you'll notice the headline of the news story conveniently avoids mentioning the victim's age.

My ancestors are rolling and spinning in their graves.

23-year-old convicted over car park killing

A 23-year-old man has been found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to 22 months imprisonment in connection with the death of a 78-year-old woman who was assaulted during a parking lot dispute in southern Sweden in March.

Lund district court convicted the man of assaulting the woman outside a supermarket in Landskrona. The attack caused her to fall over and sustain injuries to the back of her head that led to her death in hospital two days later. The 23-year-old was also found guilty of assaulting the woman’s 71-year-old husband.

The 23-year-old was also ordered by the court to pay 61,944 kronor ($8,000) in damages to the 78-year-old’s husband and her estate.

The Lund court said the 23-year-old would have faced a slightly longer sentence of two years had he not suffered from psychological problems. An examination carried out by the National Board of Forensic Medicine (Rättsmedicinalverket) found the he had long suffered from a form of constant anxiety and related stomach complaints which made him less well-equipped for jail than the majority of prisoners.

The court found that the 23-year-old punched the 71-year-old man in the head and back in an unprovoked attack. He also punched the 78-year-old woman in the head when she intervened to help her husband.

The 23-year-old was fully aware that he was hitting an elderly woman, the court found.

The 23-year-old’s credibility in the case was damaged by the fact that he left the car park immediately after the attack and did not make himself known before the police arrived at his home to place him under arrest. When questioned by police, he denied having been at the scene of the crime.

The 71-year-old on the other hand provided the court with consistent information from the outset. The court also took into account the fact that a man who witnessed the attack from a nearby restaurant provided a different account than the 23-year-old as to why the woman fell to the ground.

Details provided by the 23-year-old’s 9-year-old niece were of very limited value, the court said, since the perpetrator had four days to exert his influence on the girl before his arrest.

The 23-year-old’s lawyer Leif Silbersky immmediately anounced his intention to appeal the verdict.

“I don’t agree with the district court’s evaluation of the evidence,” he said.

Name and address details of the 23-year-old and his family were posted on several websites after his arrest. Because of the heightened threat level, the man and his lawyer hesitated before appealing an earlier remand ruling as they considered it “safer” for him to remain in custody.

The 23-year-old comes from a family of immigrants and his arrest led to ethnic tensions in Landskrona. The right-wing extremist National Democrats called a public meeting in the town square to “protest against anti-Swedishness”. Seeking to counter a rising tide of racial antagonism, organizations including the Church of Sweden and the local Islamic society held their own anti-violence demonstrations.

“But this isn’t a problem specific to Landskrona,” said Urban Jansson, the 23-year-old’s original defence lawyer.

“This incident could have happened anywhere and most of the comments on the internet probably weren’t written from here.”

Muslim Attacks On Swedish Cartoon Artist Continue As His Home Is Firebombed

Just days after the Swedish artist, who drew the "Mo as a dog" cartoon, Lars Vilks was physically attacked at a speech he was giving, his house has been attacked by muslim and burned - Vilks wasn't home and no one was hurt.

Unlike some of his predecessors, Vilks has been unwillingly to go into seclusion or hire a brigade of personal bodyguards and at the same time, the fatwa on this man is heating up something major.

I'm wondering - would it be legal under Swedish law to set up another speech for the cartoonist in a public area with plenty of room in it....and then, when the islamists decided to descend upon Vilks, you simply drop a few fake partitions and reveal a couple of machine gun nests that mow down 20 or 30 of these animals? I'm guessing that CAIR would probably object to that and the U.N. would probably bring forward a resolution, huh?

Home of Swedish Muhammad cartoonist attacked


STOCKHOLM (AP) - The home of a Swedish artist who once drew a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad as a dog has been hit by a suspected arson attack, police said Saturday.
Lars Vilks, who lives in Nyhamnslage in southern Sweden, was not at home during the attack late Friday night and no one was reported injured.

It was the latest in a week of attacks on the 53-year-old cartoonist, who was assaulted Tuesday by a man while he lectured at a university and saw his Web site apparently attacked by hacker on Wednesday.

Police were alerted just before noon Saturday, as people passing by the artist's house noted that several windows had been smashed. When officers arrived, they discovered plastic bottles filled with gasoline and fire damage on the surface of the building. Attackers are also suspected of having tried setting the inside of house on fire, but the flames are thought to have fizzled out.

Police have no suspects in the case, police Spokeswoman Sofie Osterheim said.

Vilks, who often jokes about the threats he has received since his 2007 sketch of Muhammad, including from al-Qaida, said the latest attack doesn't raise his fears more than usual.

"I'm not really more afraid than what I think is realistic," he told the Associated Press over the telephone.

Vilks has faced numerous threats over his drawing. Earlier this year, U.S. investigators said Vilks was the target of an alleged murder plot involving Colleen LaRose, an American woman who dubbed herself "Jihad Jane," and who now faces life in prison. She has pleaded not guilty.

Vilks depicted Muhammad more than a year after 12 Danish newspaper cartoons of the prophet sparked furious protests in Muslim countries in 2006. Images of Muhammad, even favorable ones, are considered blasphemous by many Muslims.

Muhammad cartoonist 'head-butted' during lecture


STOCKHOLM (AP) - A Swedish artist who angered Muslims by depicting the Prophet Muhammad as a dog was assaulted Tuesday as furious protesters interrupted his university lecture about the limits of free speech.
Lars Vilks told The Associated Press a man leaped from the front row and head-butted him as he was delivering his lecture at Uppsala University, breaking Vilks' glasses but leaving him uninjured.

Police later said the attacker was stopped before he could reach Vilks and that the artist may have bumped into plain-clothes officers who briskly evacuated him from the room. Three people were detained, but it wasn't immediately clear whether the attacker was among them.

A video clip of the incident by a Swedish newspaper showed police using pepper spray and batons to hold off an angry crowd shouting "God is great" in Arabic after Vilks was escorted out of the lecture hall.

Vilks has faced numerous threats over his controversial drawing of Muhammad with a dog's body, but Tuesday's incident was the first physical assault directed against him.

Earlier this year U.S. investigators said Vilks was the target of an alleged murder plot involving Colleen LaRose, an American woman who dubbed herself "Jihad Jane," and who now faces life in prison. She has pleaded not guilty.

Vilks said a group of about 15 people had been shouting and trying to interrupt the lecture before the incident at the university in Uppsala, about 40 miles (70 kilometers) north of Stockholm.

Some of them stormed toward the front of the room after the attack and clashed with security guards as Vilks was pulled away into a separate room, he said, describing the scene as "complete chaos."

"A man ran up and threw himself over me. I was head-butted and my glasses were broken," Vilks said before hanging up for questioning by police.

Uppsala police spokesman Jonas Eronen later said that the attacker was stopped by officers before he could get to Vilks. The physical contact Vilks described probably happened when police in civilian clothes evacuated the artist "in a brusque manner," Eronen said.

A man and a woman were detained on suspicion of violence against police while another man was held for disturbing public order, he said. All were just under 20 years old.

Uppsala University spokeswoman Pernilla Bjork said Vilks was showing an excerpt from a film by an Iranian artist about Islam and homosexuality that had been banned from YouTube when the commotion started.

"It was about when Muslims and Muhammad are represented in homosexual situations," said Anders Montelius, a 23-year-old student who attended the lecture.

"Some people started shouting, things happened really fast. About 10-15 seconds later it erupts. A guy from the front row gets up and sets upon Vilks. Several others followed this man. There was commotion and police pepper-sprayed a couple of people," Montelius told AP.

"When the university person responsible for the lecture announced that the lecture was discontinued, there were cheers and chants in Arabic," he said.

The video posted on the Web site of newspaper Uppsala Nya Tidning showed agitated police officers clashing with protesters at the front of the lecture hall. A female police officer uses pepper spray to subdue a young man. Another youngster is wrestled to the ground.

University officials said there had been a peaceful demonstration by Muslims outside the university before Vilks started to speak, and that about 260 people attended his lecture. Bjork said the university had been in contact with police and security guards before Vilks' lecture to ensure his safety.

"We think it is our task as a university to be able discuss difficult issues," she said. "We think it is very unfortunate that this has resulted in violence."

Vilks made his rough sketch more than a year after 12 Danish newspaper cartoons of the prophet sparked furious protests in Muslim countries in 2006.

A Swedish newspaper printed the drawing, leading to further protests, and revived a heated debate in the West and the Muslim world about religious sensitivities and the limits of free speech.

It also led to numerous death threats against Vilks, who was temporarily moved to a secret location after al-Qaida in Iraq put a $100,000 bounty on his head in September 2007.

Once again, we see muslims all over the world going apeshit due to a cartoon published in a scandinavian country - this time it's muslims in Malaysia that protested the reprinting of a Swedish 2007 cartoon of Mohammed that portrayed him with the body of a dog.

I guess this is all a good example of muslims in a country which doesn't really have to deal with a typical radical islamic terror uprising just not being able to resist some reason to take violence to the streets.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 26 (AP) - (Kyodo)—Hundreds of Malaysian Muslims protested outside the Swedish Embassy in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on Friday over the publication of a caricature depicting the Muslim Prophet Mohammad with the body of a dog.
"Don't insult Prophet Mohammad," said one of many banners carried by the protestors that were mainly from the opposition Pan Islamic Party and various Muslims groups.

"We demanded the Swedish government take strong action against the newspapers that printed the caricature and also to take strong action against the artist," PAS official Sabki Yusuf told the crowd. "It is unacceptable what they did to our Prophet."

Dozens of riot police were on guard around the embassy that is located inside a high-rise office building near the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.

Protestors later burned a Swedish flag before dispersing.

The black-and-white sketch by Swedish artist Lars Vilks that was made in 2007 gained international attention after it was published by Swedish newspaper Nerikes Allehanda.

The Malaysian government has demanded the Swedish government take action against three Swedish newspapers that reprinted the cartoon early this month following the arrest in Ireland of seven people for allegedly plotting to assassinate Vilks.

Vilks has a $100,000 bounty on his head that was placed by al-Qaida who also offered $50,000 for the death of Nerikes Allehanda's editor- in-chief Ulf Johansson.

Foreign Minister Anifah Aman, in a statement, had said the country was concerned that such "despicable acts disregard the sensitivity of the Muslim world in the name of freedom of expression."

The protests echoed the uproar caused in Denmark by the publication in September 2005 of 12 drawings focused on Islam, including one showing the Prophet Mohammed with a turban in the shape of a bomb.

In the Middle Ages illiterate and ignorant people would believe any lie told to them by the Church, the Nobility or even their neighbor if it was said often enough. So it is true today.

In the Middle Ages Jews were accuse of poisoning wells, causing the Black Death, ritual murder and killing Christian children so their blood (especially virgin blood) could be used in the making of matzoh for Passover.

Today the blood libel has new twists to it. Matzoh is still being made with the blood of children (only now they are Muslim children), body parts of Muslim children are used in the making of food for Purim (the Saudis are very fond of this one), and now there is this bit of anti-Semitism from Sweden:

The tabloid Aftonbladet, one of Sweden’s most popular newspapers, published a report Tuesday that claimed IDF soldiers execute Arabs in Judea and Samaria, harvest their organs and sell them. The report carried a photograph that purportedly shows the body of a victim of such an execution, with a large scar running from his chin to his abdomen. It notes the IDF’s explanation that the scar is from an autopsy which is routinely performed on people who are killed in fighting – but seems not to give it much credit and prefers a completely unsubstantiated claim by Arabs regarding forced organ harvesting.

The report, which appears under the heading, in quotes, "Our sons plundered for their organs,” begins with snippets from a transcript of an FBI recording of a Jewish man who was arrested in July, in connection with a corruption scandal in New Jersey involving elected officials, rabbis, money laundering and illegal organ trading.

Immediately after providing a short description of the FBI’s suspicions against that group, reporter Donald Boström takes his readers across the ocean to discuss the organ trade in Israel, without explaining what connection there may be between the two matters. He describes “a strong suspicion” among Palestinians that young men’s organs were harvested by the IDF “as in China and Pakistan.” Boström repeats that this is “a very serious suspicion” and suggests that the International Court of Justice should open an investigation into it.

The paper says that half of the kidneys that are used in transplants in Israel are purchased illegally from Turkey, Eastern Europe or Latin America and that Israeli health authorities have full knowledge of the matter, but do nothing to stop it. It then connects the shortage of body parts in Israel to stories of Palestinian men who, it says, are killed and returned to their villages five days later by the IDF.

17 year old eyewitness account
The reporter then gives what he says is his own eyewitness account from 1992 -- 17 years ago -- of an IDF raid on a village in which a rioter named Bilal Achmed Ghanaian was shot and severely injured. He was taken away by a military helicopter and brought back by the army five days later, dead. As his family members buried him, they saw a large scar running from his stomach to his chin.

The report then quotes Arabs who claim that their sons were used as forced organ donors but provides no support for this claim.

Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said that the newspaper had “turned the demonization of Israel into a sacred cause.” He called upon Swedish citizens to express their disgust with “the incitement to hate crimes that the report includes.”

Aftonbladet claims to be the leading daily newspaper in Sweden and in Scandinavia, with a readership of more than 1.5 million.

I think I am finally at a loss of words or an action to take over this. Not only is is libelous, but it shows the ignorant mentality of the nation of Sweden.

At first I was going to cancel my organ and bone marrow donation cards, but that wouldn't really solve this problem, only hurt many others in the long run.

I would boycott all Swedish products, but there aren't many of them sold here in the US. So I just blog about this, feeling powerless to do anything, yet knowing the people of Sweden actually believe this, knowing the government of Sweden condones these stories, knowing the idiot Moonbats here in the US will use this to defame Jews world-wide.

There are just times when a person must choose to do nothing, and pray that somehow someway sanity will return to Sweden and just one person in the country will cry out:
