The Latest: Hillary Lost Election Because She Didn't Pander To Muslims In Dearborn

And now, from completely out in left field, we have the Pakistani Muslim analysis of the U.S. Presidential election results...

Oh, and the Pakistanis even get in a little threat to America's NEW President...

So Trump didn’t win in the heart of Arab America because its people voted for him. He won because they didn’t vote for Clinton. And that was her fault. Later, I suspect, the Middle East will reach out and grab Trump by his collar and shake him badly — it always does that to US presidents. Then he’ll wish he, too, had spent a bit of time in Dearborn.

From DAWN.

A Trump presidency could have been avoided if Clinton had listened to Arab-Americans

IF only Hillary had thought about the Arabs. They might have brought her a lot closer to the presidency if she’d taken the trouble of going to the largest Arab community in America, the predominantly Lebanese-Iraqi city of Dearborn, Michigan. Its streets are lined with Lebanese restaurants and cedar tree flags and they are proud Americans but — against the best advice of her own regional organising director in the city — Hillary Clinton didn’t bother with them.

Nicholas Noe was Hillary’s senior man in Michigan, the beating heart of 186,000 residents who claim Arab ancestry. Noe also lives in Beirut where he runs Middle East Wire, which translates the Arab media, and writes long — sometimes over-wordy but often all too accurate — analyses of the Arab world.

“We lost Michigan with its 16 electoral votes — and we lost it by a little more than 10,000 votes,” Noe says. “We were never able to get Hillary herself in front of the Arab community to listen to them. She went to Detroit but she never came to see this community — even though she was nearby”.

It’s easy to think that Hillary, whose sense of entitlement never stopped her currying up to the wealthiest or most powerful lobby groups in Washington and New York, was frightened of offending the pro-Israeli lobby and thus avoided Dearborn and its residents’ questions on “Palestine” and Israel. But so far as Noe is concerned, “most pundits believed that Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric would be sufficient to give the Arab-American vote to Hillary — but they needed to hear from the candidate herself.”

The would-be US president made similar mistakes in the other swing states of Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, where she failed to address white working class or African-American voters. Even Bill Clinton was urging her to speak to the communities there that had serious social problems. Some of Clinton’s campaign workers — including Noe and his colleagues — partly blame a computer algorithm called ADA (of which more later, readers!) which supposedly knew how to parse opinions, guess voting patterns, deploy the candidate and run 400,000 electoral race simulations a day — according to The Washington Post — but which wasn’t very good at working out how poor people feared for their future or what Arab-Americans thought about their country’s role in the Middle East.

Hillary Clinton’s supporters in Michigan knew they had a problem when Bernie Sanders pulled off the electoral primary and beat Clinton by 17,000 votes in March 2016. More important still, Bernie won the Arab-American majority districts by two-to-one.

“That was a huge turnout in Bernie’s favour,” Noe says. “So we knew we had a problem. In the months between then and the presidential, I led an effort to register new Arab-American votes in and around Dearborn. Our problem was that we registered a lot of voters who failed to turn out in the kind of numbers that would have put Clinton over the top.”

For the first time in its history, The Arab American News, the largest newspaper of its kind in the area, refused to endorse a presidential candidate. Noe’s interpretation was simple: “It wasn’t just the policies of Hillary Clinton they had a problem with. She never engaged with the community — she took the Arab-American vote for granted because of Trump. A whole lot of Arab-Americans were not convinced by this approach. When I tell people back in Lebanon now that we failed to get those 10,000 votes from the Lebanese and Iraqis in Dearborn, they laugh. Because if you listen to these people’s concerns, if you engage community leaders and then you mobilise a modest number of extended families, they will vote on election day.”

Not the least of their problems — real ones which I’ve witnessed for myself at American airports when they’ve joined the queues for boarding — is the treatment they receive from security staff when they’re flying, their origin immediately drawing suspicion — even though they are full American citizens.

“I worked for Hillary in 1999 and 2000 when she won the Senate race,” Noe remarks. “She spent a month on a ‘listening tour’, listening to residents. But when it came to the Arab-American vote in this election, there was no ‘listening tour’ on the cards. They didn’t hear from the candidate herself.”

Now to ADA.

Augusta Ada King-Noel, Countess of Lovelace, a 19th-century English mathematician and the only legitimate daughter of Lord Byron, is regarded as the first computer programmer. The Clinton campaign named their top-secret computer algorithm after Ada — which could have burnished Hillary’s feminist credentials among the few who knew about the wretched machine, but whose results may also have cost her the presidency. It picked up the importance of Pennsylvania, according to the Post, but missed out on Michigan until the end — when Clinton still didn’t visit Dearborn — and lost out on Wisconsin.

“It crunched the data about Arab Americans, blacks and working class people,” says Noe, “and told the Clinton campaigners where to put resources. Artificial intelligence was going to win a presidential campaign for the first time. It rejected advice from people like me to urge the candidate to devote resources to Dearborn.”

Stoned Dearborn Christian Speaks

Yesterday I put up the video of what happened in Dearbornistan, Michigan when some Christians decided to offend the Mohammedans by actually setting foot near the Arab festival....and following on the literal stoning of those in Dearborn by the incensed Muslims is an interview with one of the attacked here at the article by Gadi Adelman from FrontPageMag.com

Stoned Dearborn Christian Speaks

The video “American Muslims Stone Christians in Dearborn, MI” from this year’s Dearborn Arab Festival has gone viral. The group at the center of the incident, Official Street Preachers, is led by Ruben Israel. I sat down for a candid conversation and interview with the man behind this video and got an inside exclusive look at what really happened, including a frightening vehicular attack that wasn’t captured on video.

The 2012 Arab International Festival in Dearborn, Michigan ran this year from June 15 – 18 over the Father’s Day Weekend. Like every other year, incidents that occur there become YouTube sensations, but nothing like what happened this time around.

We have seen this before, and I have written and spoken on the Arab Festival for the last three years. At the 2010 festival, four Christians from the Acts 17 Apologetics group were arrested and charged with “breach of the peace.” Their cameras were confiscated, all for attempting to hand out Christian literature.

In September 2010, a jury acquitted all four Christians. Following the acquittal, Acts 17 filed a 96-page civil rights lawsuit against the city, its mayor, John B. O’Reilly, its chief of police, Ronald Haddad, 17 city police officers, and two executives from the American Arab Chamber of Commerce.

In January of this year, a Detroit judge awarded $103,401.96 to Acts 17 for attorney’s fees, and in February, a U.S. district court judge in Detroit, Michigan denied a request by the city of Dearborn to dismiss the civil rights suit.

In June 2010 when I wrote about the arrests, I focused on “Sharia in America” — people being arrested in an overwhelmingly Muslim community for nothing more than exercising their First Amendment right of free speech. But this year went far beyond people being arrested. This year they were stoned

This group wasn’t just stoned, however. The Christians had bottles, cans, eggs, milk crates, stools, rocks and pieces of concrete thrown at them, all while the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department stood by, watched it occur, and did nothing.

Police waited an hour after the barrage of the group — until they were bleeding and injured — and then told the Christians that if they didn’t leave, they would be arrested.

Ruben Israel is one of the founders of Bible Believers and heads a group of Evangelical Christians known as the Official Street Preachers. He has been going to events with his group for over 30 years with his megaphone and signs preaching the gospel.

The video of his group being stoned in Dearborn has had over a million views in just 4 days when combing all the various websites it has been posted on. To say the incident has created some controversy would be an understatement.

Even a female reporter from ABC 7 WXYZ Detroit was hit with a water bottle while reporting live from the event:

Some are saying that he and his group are like the Westboro Baptist Church. Others are saying he “antagonized the Muslims into a rage” and that the reaction and stoning “was to be expected because they knew they were in an overwhelming Muslim area.”

The argument that I have continuously heard is that the video of the stoning is only 23 minutes long, and that it was edited so that it’s difficult to see what really happened. That is only somewhat true.

Yes, there is a “raw” video that is one hour and six minutes long (it can be seen here); it records from the moment the group arrived until after they left the festival. The video that United West posted was edited down to 23 minutes, but I have seen the full hour and there is nothing, absolutely nothing, that Ruben and his group did in the long version that wasn’t in the short version.

The United West only edited it down to show the stoning parts as well as to remove large pieces that otherwise would be boring.

I had the opportunity to sit down with Ruben and get the truth about what really took place that day and the story of what happened two days later, which wasn’t on video, but can be backed up by police documents.

I didn’t pull any punches on this interview and from the start I hit Ruben with hard-hitting questions:

*

Gadi Adelman: “What do you think of those that compare you and your group to the Westboro Baptist Church?”

Ruben Israel: “I don’t like Westboro Church. I don’t like them protesting soldiers funerals. I don’t like people burning the American flag, but it’s under the [right] of free speech; but I don’t go beat somebody up because they burn the American flag.”

GA: “Was there any point at all during any time at the Arab festival that you or your group did anything that was physically violent to these people?”

RI: We never pushed anybody, hit anybody, shoved anybody. The only thing we do, and you can see this in the video, is if anyone comes up to us we raise our hands, palms up, and this is because [if] we go to court [then] the attorney doesn’t freeze frame everything and blame us for pushing. Our palms are shown with empty hands and we do that primarily most of the day when we are confronted by people that look like they may get physical with us.

That was not our intent and to be very blunt, if our intention was to fight the Muslims as they have been accusing us, our arsenal would not have been to show up in Dearborn with a megaphone and signs.

GA: Could the banners that you carry be used as weapons?

RI: They are vinyl banners. They are legal and we have been flying them for over thirty years and not had any issues. It’s a good thing that they are vinyl so they could be cleaned very easily with all the stuff we were pelted with.

GA: What was your plan for that day, why did you go to the Arab festival?

RI: Actually what we were going to do, we had our attorney send a letter to the Sheriff and the attorney of Dearborn, a letter that we were coming. They knew who we were based upon last year and we were going to show up with our signs. The megaphone was only going to be used to compete with noise. If the noise level was high, we would use the megaphone.

We were going to do some preaching and the preaching would provoke some good conversation and conversation is what’s good, and the crowd is gathered around us, and that’s the purpose for the large signs because they display exactly who we are and what we believe.

That’s all we were going to do. We wanted to hang around there for a few hours, pack up and leave. We weren’t going to stay there until the end of the event; we didn’t want to be there at night because we knew that when you preach to Muslims there is a reputation that things can happen to you and that is why we asked the police to stand around us.

GA: You mentioned last year — had you been there last year as well?

RI: Yes we were, and the first day that we showed up the police put us in a “free speech” area with barricades. They had mounted police, uniformed and undercover. They brought in the Dearborn Police, police from Detroit and there was a helicopter overhead. It was almost as if we were a threat to the city. The second day we showed up they said, ‘No more, we’re not giving you barricades, you’re on your own,’ and then a fight broke out. They came at us punching.

GA: So you were attacked last year as well?

RI: Yes, that was last year and that is why this year I went there with a pig head. To the Muslims a pig or the blood from a pig is like a crucifix to a vampire. I knew the sheriff was not going to assist us because they had not responded to our letters from our attorneys, so I figured we would be on our own, and since the sheriffs weren’t going to be around us, I brought the next best thing and that’s a pig head on a stick.

In the video you can see that around the pig head we didn’t get pelted as much as where there was no pig head. I got a lot of heat for taking one pig head; I think in reality we should have brought 15 pig heads, that would have maybe soothed them a little bit more from throwing debris at us.

GA: You said that last year a fight broke out — what did the police do last year?

RI: They rushed in after the fight was over and they took one of our guys to jail. All they did was parade him by the angry Muslims, which showed them that they took care of it. They put the guy in a squad car, took him to jail and once they got to the sheriff’s station they just let him go. It was just a show. They just wanted to let the Muslims know ‘we got one of them’, and we have video footage of the sheriff’s department cheering the crowd on when we were getting thrown out of the event last year.

This is a police officer in uniform cheering the crowd on as they throw us out. Now, let me explain something. We preach to a lot of venues. We go to Mardi Gras, spring break, the Academy Awards, baseball games, plus we preach to a lot of religious people as well. Such as Salt Lake City, when the Pope comes to America, we have signs for him and we follow him in the city that he is in; some of the Evangelicals that are on TV that are nothing more than money hungry devils, we preach to them too.

Nobody gets violent except the Muslims. Yet they are under the umbrella of the ‘Religion of Peace.’ They are nothing more than people just waiting to attack us and because the sheriff’s department did nothing to those little kids throwing debris at us, all that did was fuel fire for these kids because they feel invincible. They throw things at us for an hour and a half, they got away with it, they screamed and hollered and we got kicked out of the event. They just fueled a monster that one day is going to strap a bomb on themselves and blow themselves up for their god and this sheriff’s department actually fueled that monster. ”

Note To Teenage Christian Football Players: Keep Up Your Guard When You Play Dearborn Muslim Teams

From AnsweringMuslims.com.

Muslim Football Players in Dearborn Heights Arrested for Assault on Christian Quarterback

DEARBORN HEIGHTS — A figurative beat down turned literal beating has led to the felony arrests of a group of local high school football players.

Police arrested four Star International Academy seniors Wednesday on aggravated assault charges stemming from an altercation in the team’s last game of the season.

The players -- Mohamed Ahmed, Fanar Al-Alsady, Hadee Attia and Ali Bajjey, all age 17 -- are accused of gang-beating Lutheran Westland’s quarterback as time expired in Lutheran’s 47-6 drubbing of Star on Oct. 21.

According to numerous witness statements gathered by police, Lutheran’s quarterback was set to take a knee to run out the clock. Before the snap, referees told both teams to refrain from contact, police said.

After the snap, however, the four arrested Star players burst through the line and allegedly manhandled Lutheran’s quarterback. Police said they ripped off his helmet, threw him to the ground and punched and kicked him repeatedly. The incident came to an end after coaches, players and refs stepped in and broke it up.

Police took a statement from a referee who said he heard a Star player say to hit the referees after being directed to not hit the other team.

According to published reports, Lutheran’s quarterback suffered a concussion from the beating.

Federal Appeals Court Determines Christian's 1st Amendment Rights Violated In Dearbornistan, Michigan

Finally, FINALLY someone in Dearborn, Michigan (Home of the Mecca 2) has gotten the riot act read to them when a federal court of appeals handed down a decision that a Christian man's first amendment rights were violated when he was barred from passing out pamphlets at an Islamic festival in Dearborn.

Okay....oh wait...hold on. Hmmm...let's see....countdown to Muslim outrage and protests and rampages on the streets of Dearborn in 4....3....2....1

The story is from USA Today.

Court: Detroit suburb violated evangelist's rights

DETROIT — A Detroit suburb violated the free-speech rights of a Christian evangelist by barring him from handing out leaflets at an Arab-American street festival last year, a federal appeals court said Thursday.

The 2-1 decision comes less than a month before the next festival in Dearborn, which draws thousands of people to Warren Avenue in the heavily Arab community.

The festival had offered George Saieg of Anaheim, Calif., a free booth in 2010, but said he and his followers could not freely walk sidewalks with literature about converting Muslims to Christianity.

The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the restriction was unreasonable, especially when vendors and pedestrians were allowed on sidewalks during the festival.

Dearborn and its police department "violated Saieg's First Amendment right to freedom of speech," judges Karen Nelson Moore and Eric Clay said. "Absent an injunction, Saieg will continue to suffer irreparable injury for which there is no adequate remedy at law."

Saieg had no problems for years at the Arab festival until 2009 when Ron Haddad became Dearborn police chief. Haddad has defended the policy as a way to control foot traffic.

Mayor Jack O'Reilly said he's "fine" with the court decision but is concerned about the cost of cleaning up leaflets dropped on the ground.

It's the second time the appeals court has intervened. In 2010, a federal judge in Detroit upheld the city's restrictions. But the court stepped in on the eve of the festival and said Saieg could at least distribute information on the perimeter.

After another look, Moore and Clay said Thursday that allowing him on the perimeter still doesn't meet the pastor's free-speech rights.

"Everybody should be pleased," Saieg's attorney, Robert Muise, said. "Dearborn is getting a pretty strong reputation as being the enemy of the First Amendment. As long as they keep passing these draconian restrictions that violate the rights of everyone, we're going to challenge them."

The dissenting judge on the appeals court, Martha Craig Daughtrey, said the restrictions were "narrowly tailored" and not unreasonable.

Saieg plans to attend the June 17-19 festival, Muise said.

A Florida pastor, the Rev. Terry Jones, has said he, too, will appear. In April, he was barred from demonstrating outside a Dearborn mosque unless he posted a $1 "peace bond." He refused.

"Any public sidewalks are open and free game," Muise said.

A burning of the Quran in March at Jones' church in Florida led to a series of violent protests in Afghanistan that killed more than a dozen people.

It's Time To Face It America, Dearborn, Michigan Has Been Lost To Islam

It's over. The first American city to fall to the advancing horde of Islam is now safely in Muslim hands and much of the nation will now sit back and wait to see which will be the next city to go from patriotic American hands to the mitts of the islamists.

The trial and kangaroo court in Dearborn, Michigan of Terry Jones has shown once proud and Constitution loving Americans bow down to the threat of Islam and they have submitted our personal liberties to the rule of allah.

From the article at Family Security Matters:

Dearborn Police Chief Haddad, Wayne County Prosecutor Moran, and Judge Somers’ responses to the Islamist communities’ threats of violence, violated Jones’ first Amendment Rights. Al-Qazwini said that what Terry Jones is doing is a crime in “our society.” Good Islamists are duty-bound to avenge a crime against Shariah Islam. Al-Qazwini accused Pastor Jones of committing a “crime” against Shariah Islamia. Judge Somers chose to acquiesce and in doing so failed to uphold American laws, which are the Supreme Law of the Land, not Shariah. The judge also failed to acknowledge the Dearborn Muslim communities’ responsibility to observe American law.

The crime Al-Qazwini was referring to is blasphemy. The Dearborn Islamists claimed to be defending insults against Muhammad and Allah, by Terry Jones. They also believed he might continue to do so in the future. The Imam or Sheikh is the supreme leader of the community in matters both civil and religious. Most all good Muslims will blindly follow their Imams’ directives to remain in good standing. The individual Muslim is under great pressure to conform or unthinkably lose their honor and standing in the eyes of their family and community.

Judge Somers should have thrown out this case from the beginning. Judge Somers, Police Chief Haddad, Asst. Prosecutor Moran, Prosecutor Kym Worthy, should all be fired for violating their oaths of office to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

If you remember, during the mid term election campaign, Sharron Angle of Nevada made reference to the fact that sharia law was taking hold in America and gave up the city of Dearborn as an example. The mayor of Dearborn was outraged (as was the liberal media) and the mayor actually invited Angle to Dearborn to prove to her that she was wrong.

Well, Mr. Mayor of Dearborn, Michigan...this trial of Terry Jones invited all of America to view what is actually the case in your city and what we have seen is a bunch of Americans who have submitted to Islam. You and your city are an embarrassment. Last I checked, you surrendered your city to the islamists without firing a single shot. You sounded pretty convincing back in August of 2010 but now the mask has come off...your mayor's office is obviously housed in the minaret of a mosque...and your city officials apparently get on their hands and knees five times a day.

So which city is next, America?

The Dearborn Islamist Political Machine and Pastor Terry Jones

The non-violent actions of Terry Jones are being claimed as the cause for the threat of violence by Dearborn Michigan’s Islamist political machine. This is a clever lie. Terry Jones’ trial in Dearborn illustrates how the Dearborn Islamist community tried to blame Terry Jones for their illegal threats and potentially violent behavior. The Dearborn Chief of Police, Ron Haddad and Prosecutor Kym Worthy, did the bidding of the Islamist majority in that city, by enforcing Islamic Blasphemy laws, and negating Terry Jones’ and Wayne Sapp’s Constitutional First Amendment rights. Jones is the victim of a direct assault on his First Amendment right to free speech by a municipality that is 46% Muslim. The Dearborn Islamist political machine should itself be on trial, for using the threat of violence to achieve a political end, by silencing Pastor Terry Jones and Rev. Wayne Sapp.

During cross examination at the Pastor Terry Jones trial on April 23, 2011, Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad testified that Imam Al-Qazwini of the Islamic Center of America said, “that for some members of his Mosque, burning the Quran was considered a crime.” Wayne County Assistant Prosecutor Robert Moran, stated at the trial that Al-Qazwini said, “burning the Qur’an is worse than 1000 deaths. That’s what the citizens of this society believe.”

Robert Spencer writes,

“Liaquat Ali Khan teaches commercial law, arbitration and international law at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. He argues that Muslims should petition Congress to outlaw the burning of the Qur'an because doing so incites violence -- in contrast to the burning of the American flag, which, he says, the Supreme Court declined to outlaw because "no disturbance of the peace actually occurred or threatened to occur."

Pastor Terry Jones, according to court testimony, received 300-400 death threats related to his scheduled protest in front of the Islamic Center of America. Four of those death threats originated from the Detroit area and one of those four was traced by law enforcement officials to the South End of Dearborn Michigan. These death threats were ignored as an important element of this story, as reported by the mainstream press.

The only threats of violence were from the Islamist community. During cross examination by Rev. Wayne Sapp, Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad begrudgingly testified, that Pastor Terry Jones gave him no indication they were going to burn a Qur’an or do anything provocative or violent. Court records indicate Jones testified his intention was not to protest the Mosque but to protest Jihad and Shariah (Islamic Law).

Who is really guilty of inciting violence, the Muslim community with their threats, or Pastor Jones, by his actions? Because it would be self defeating, I do not endorse the burning or desecration of the Qur’an. There are enough incriminating revelations from Allah himself in the Qur’an if anyone opens the book and reads the text.

Pastor Jones burned a book that was his own property. Jones, to my knowledge, has never threatened or harmed anyone. According to court testimony, Jones has a clean record and passed a government security check to obtain his concealed weapons permit. The First Amendment guarantees Jones freedom of speech and the right to peaceably assemble. How the Dearborn community responds is the sole responsibility of the community and government officials.

How individuals react to someone exercising their free speech falls squarely on the individual’s shoulders, regardless of race, religion, sex, creed, or national origin. Each person must take responsibility for their actions, according to the law in the USA. Al -Qazwini states Jones’ burning the Qur’an is considered a “crime” by some in his community. During court testimony Police Chief Haddad said he denied Jones’ permit for fear Muslim violence would occur. Chief Haddad came to that conclusion through discussions with Al-Qazwini and upon learning of the 300+ death threats against Terry Jones.

Liquat Ali Khan got it right when he implied that if you want to stop an offensive action, just threaten violence.

J.Mark Campbell filmed a juror who stated that the jury reached their guilty verdict by concluding that Jones’ protest, if allowed, could possibly be the spark that would ignite Dearborn’s Muslim community to violence or riot. The juror who said this was in violation of Judge Somers deliberation instructions.

Juror instructions by Judge Somers:

“Non violent expression of an unpopular or unwelcome political or religious belief, by itself, is not enough to find a Breach Of The Peace. Even if the expression of that belief causes someone else to react with anger or alarm.”

Judge Somers should have thrown out this case from the beginning. Judge Somers, Police Chief Haddad, Asst. Prosecutor Moran, Prosecutor Kym Worthy, should all be fired for violating their oaths of office to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

Terry Jones and Wayne Sapp knowingly or unknowingly exposed how far the city of Dearborn will go, to advocate on behalf of their Muslim majority. They did so by enforcing Shariah blasphemy laws because of fear, intimidation, and threats of violence. Terry Jones and Wayne Sapp challenged the Islamist machine in Dearborn, exposing how we must stand up against threats of violence to prevent a Shariah compliant outcome. Our Freedom of Speech is too precious and fragile to be disregarded and shredded by the Dearborn Islamist Political Machine.

The Thomas More Law Center is defending the First Amendment rights of Terry Jones and Wayne Sapp. The mainstream media and general public must demand that Islamists in Dearborn are held accountable for their threats of violence and riot. The strategic use of threatening violence by the Dearborn Islamist Political Machine to achieve a Shariah compliant political end, is the conversation we will have as this case moves forward.

Why Did the MSM Ignore the Story of a Hezbollah Allied Muslim From Dearborn Being Arrested Trying To Ship Arms To Lebanon?

As you have been reading here at Holger Awakens, Dearborn, Michigan continues to make news and unfortunately, some of the most recent, breaking news of radical islamic terror linked to the Michigan bastion of islamic radicals is reserved to a few bloggers and a couple of local news outlets. So, I ask the question....Why is it that when a U.S. citizen is caught trying to smuggle weapons out of America to Lebanon's Hezbollah, it's a story not touched by any major news media outlet? What and who is out there protecting the radical islamists of Dearborn?

From the story at Family Security Matters:

Convicted felon Hassan Jamile Salame of Dearborn Heights (just over five miles from the city of Dearborn), Michigan, reportedly has been charged with attempted “smuggling of guns and ammunition out of the United States” and “being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition,” according to U.S. Attorney William Nettles (as reported in only two South Carolina publications last week).

But the 800-pound gorilla in the room (pardon the cliche) is that Hassan Jamile Salame (clearly a Muslim name) is from Dearborn Heights- Dearborn, Michigan (a hotbed of Shia Islam with an increasing number of Hizballah sympathizers which concerns intelligence and counterterrorism experts nationwide). Hizballah (which is an Iranian-supported Shia terrorist army, which the U.S. State Dept. has officially designated a terrorist organization) is based in Lebanon (Hizballah’s primary base of operations) where Salame allegedly tried to smuggle “the guns and ammunition.”

But what’s even more disturbing is that there were only two publications nationwide that covered this story – the Charleston (S.C.) Post Courier and WIS-TV’s website (the NBC affiliate in Columbia) – and neither mentions or even attempts to make the starkly obvious Hizballah connection.
Well, perhaps this has something to do with the lack of coverage or outrage about this latest arrest of terrorists in America (from Real Clear Politics):

Deputy National Security Advisor John Brennan says the Obama administration wants to reach out to "moderate" members of the Hezbollah group.

Perhaps the timing just isn't right for the Obama administration to have a major arrest publicized after they have been rumored to be trying to reach out to more moderate factions of Hezbollah (as if there is such a thing). But the fact of the matter is that we are now seeing a disturbing development and that is the numbing of America to homegrown islamic terrorist plots. Four or five years ago, this story would have been front page headlines all over America and now, it gets reported only by BumFuckAmericaNews - we have to realize that all that has happened here in America over the past year and a half has become almost expected, almost normal.

If that doesn't scare the pants off of everyone, I don't know what will. The fact that the Israelis now must worry about Hezbollah in Lebanon receiving weapons shipments from islamic terrorists INSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES is beyond the pale.

Exclusive: Why Was This National Story Missed?

The Sharia Police Force of Dearbon, Michigan - An Update

I wanted to update my readers regarding the recent atrocity that occurred in Dearborn, Michigan when local Dearborn police arrested Christians (including two muslim converts to Christianity) at an Islamic festival. If you need a refresher of what this case is about, view this video:

Now, I want to make sure we all realize something brought up in the video - the Dearborn police department held onto that video camera for 3 and one half weeks!

It is my view, that these men and one woman who were arrested had their civil rights infringed upon because the Dearborn police department decided to elevate the department's status with the highly muslim population of that city. I'm pleased to announce that those arrested are moving forward with legal action against the City of Dearborn for this violation of free speech in America. I'm also pleased to say that the Thomas Moore Law Center is going to handle this case on a pro bono basis. But, as you can imagine, the individuals involved here will see themselves having to interrupt their lives significantly for court appearances and meetings with the legal team. Thus, I encourage all of you to go to their website and hit their Paypal account and help them defray their expenses.

Here is their website (look for the Paypal donation button about halfway down the blog page on the left hand side):

I feel it is of utmost importance that the police departments across this land (who I support unconditionally) get the message that Islam and sharia law are NOT ABOVE THE LAW. This was disgraceful behavior by a police department and I truly feel that police officers across the country are shocked by this case. We have to make a statement in the counter-jihad - we have to stand up this time and say NO MORE. This legal case could send shock waves out across the country to the likes of CAIR and others that Americans won't put up with a favored status being placed upon muslims in this land. Let's show these people who ventured into the lion's den in Dearborn that we are 100% behind them.

Welcome to Dearborn, Arabia

The following article from Family Security Matters does a stellar job of shedding more light on the shocking report coming out of Dearborn, Michigan where local police not only arrested some Christian men for handing out materials at a muslim festival but also confiscated their video equipment that recorded the police harassment.

There have been a lot of jokes about Dearborn, Michigan...perhaps you've heard the reference to "Dearbornistan" - those cracks have mostly been about the sheer number of muslims inhabiting that Michigan city but this latest debaucle reflects on just who is now running that city and the million dollar question: Has sharia law taken hold in Dearborn?

Exclusive: Welcome to Dearborn, Arabia

When I wrote about creeping Sharia in America back in January in my article “One Nation under Allah” I was called an “Islamophobe.” In March I co-wrote “Are we financing our own demise” with Joy Brighton, an expert in Sharia finance. For that, I was called an “alarmist.” Also in March I wrote an article in which I told the truth about the treatment of women who live under Sharia law and I was called a “racist”. In April I wrote about the amount of terror that stems from Islam. I was called a “hate monger”. Last week in my article “You’re doin’ fine Oklahoma” I wrote about the ban of Sharia in Oklahoma and was told I was “crazy” to believe that Sharia could ever happen here in America.

Well, to all my critics, welcome to Dearborn, Michigan.

According to the Thomas More Law Center news:

“ANN ARBOR, MI – In what some have described as police enforcement of Sharia law at the annual Dearborn Arab International Festival, last Friday night Dearborn Police Officers arrested four Christian missionaries and illegally confiscated their video cameras which were recording the events surrounding their arrests. The Thomas More Law Center, a public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, today announced it is representing all of the Christian missionaries.

Arrested on charges of Breach of the Peace are: Negeen Mayel, Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, Paul Rezkalla, and David Wood. Mayel, an eighteen year old female, whose parents emigrated from Afghanistan and a recent convert from Islam to Christianity, was also charged with failure to obey a police officer’s orders. She was approximately 100 feet away and videotaping a discussion with some Muslims when her camera was seized.

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, commented, “These Christian missionaries were exercising their Constitutional rights to free speech and the free exercise of religion, but apparently the Constitution carries little weight in Dearborn, where the Muslim population seems to dominate the political apparatus. It’s apparent that these arrests were a retaliatory action over the embarrassing video of the strong arm tactics used last year by Festival Security Guards. This time, the first thing police officers did before making the arrests was to confiscate the video cameras in order to prevent a recording of what was actually happening.”

Thompson continued, “Contrary to the comments made by Police Chief Ron Haddad, our Constitution does not allow police to ban the right of free speech just because there are some hecklers. Not all police officers approve of the way their department treated these Christians.”

Robert Muise, Senior Trial Counsel with the Law Center in charge of the case, yesterday faxed a letter to Chief Haddad demanding that the three video cameras and tapes illegally seized from the missionaries be immediately returned.”

As the time of writing this, their cameras have yet to be returned. I, for one, have to wonder if - when these cameras are returned - the memory cards will have mysteriously been wiped clean or disappeared.

In case as you were reading this, you missed it… The Chief of Police of Dearborn is Ronald Haddad. Yes, we can assume that Chief Haddad is a Muslim. Those that I have spoken to involved in this case have confirmed this.

Last Tuesday evening I was able to interview David Wood, one of those arrested, on the radio show “Radio Jihad” which I co-host weekly. David stated :

“Three of the four that were arrested were not even speaking to anyone at the time of the arrest, but they were just filming. They were standing on the sidewalk and not stopping anyone from coming or going or impeding pedestrian traffic.”

David also explained that:

“Two thirds of Dearborn, Michigan is Muslim.”

According to David’s website “Answering Muslims”:

“In Dearborn, they are giving one religion special status (establishment of religion), prohibiting the free exercise of our religion, preventing our freedom of speech, and denying our right to assemble peaceably. (And we haven't even gotten to other rights that were violated, such as having our cameras illegally seized, having a police department illegally retain information that exonerates us, having us wrongly charged and imprisoned, etc.)”

“We were arrested for having a peaceful dialogue with Muslims. The police claimed we were being disruptive. We invited them to view the video footage, which would prove our innocence. They refused, preferring to take us to jail when we had indisputable proof against the false charges. Police seized our cameras illegally, and have to this day refused to share the footage with us, footage that will completely exonerate us. Police Chief Ronald Haddad refuses to return our cameras; despite the fact that he knows we are innocent.”

Witnesses to the arrest reported some very disturbing things as well. A Coptic (Egyptian Christian) woman called Maria noted:

“A police officer had removed the camera from David and proceeded to handcuff him. I heard David calmly assure, "It’s okay. No big deal," while being handcuffed. All three men were escorted out of the group with their hands behind their backs. The police were carrying the cameras that Paul and David had been using. Neither of the arrested men resisted, and were very compliant as they were heading out of the crowd, to where the police had been stationed. People within the crowd were cheering, shouting "Allah akbar!" while clapping and shouting. The police continued walking out of the group. When a single man shouted "Jesus is Lord!" one officer who had already passed him, came back and told him to "be quiet". Neither of the officers said anything to the crowd of Muslims that were cheering, while shouting "Allah akbar!" After taking Paul, David, and Nabeel to the parking lot where the police were stationed, many security guards had followed and formed two groups. A smaller group of around three security guards were standing closer to the police. A larger group of around five security guards were farther away. Paul, David, and Nabeel were put into a van and taken away.”

So, let me get this straight. David, Paul, Nabeel and Negeen were arrested and charged with “Breach of the peace” for standing and speaking to people that came up to themand filming, but the people that screamed “Allah akbar” were not? And, the gentleman that yelled “Jesus is Lord” was told to be quiet by the police? Yeah, and I’m the “crazy” one.

After they were released the group went back to the festival and stayed outside on the sidewalk and attempted to hand out pamphlets of the Gospel of John in English with Arabic translation. Not three minutes went by before the police again stopped them. Here is the link to that video.

The last time I checked, The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution states:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

For purposes of comparison, under Sharia law:

“Non-Muslims are not allowed to proclaim their beliefs to Muslims and Muslims are forbidden to leave Islam, leaving Islam is “apostasy” with the possible penalty of death”.

What Constitution are the Dearborn police following? Do we really have to wonder whether or not Sharia is here? In an earlier article - “How Do You Plead, Guilty or Not Guilty? ‘I Plead Muslim!’” I pointed out that States within the U.S. were setting precedents in our judicial system for Sharia law. Once again, I was told I was crazy to ever think that Sharia law would be allowed in our system of justice due to our Constitution. A lawyer friend of mine who is a Professor of Constitutional law told me:

“Sharia is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution, it can never happen.”

Well, he is correct about one thing; Sharia is not compatible with our Constitution.

As if our Constitution being trampled is not enough, Police Chief Ronald Haddad was recently appointed to serve on the Homeland Security Advisory Council, which provides advice and recommendations to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on matters related to homeland security. Well, once again, I guess I am the crazy one.

I have been warning and writing and speaking about this for years, I urged you all to speak up and speak out. I said that we in America only have to look at the U.K. or Europe to see where we are headed if something is not done soon and now it has happened.

I am not proud to say “I warned you”, it is here people, Sharia in America. Our Nation that was founded on Judeo-Christian values and principals has now seen the arrest of four people for exercising their rights at an Arab festival.

What are you going to do about it? Contact your Representatives, call the Mayor of Dearborn? You can contact the Dearborn office of the Mayor at 313-943-2300 or Dearborn Police Department at 313-943-2240.

“You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?”

You choose which way you want to live, while you still can.
