John Kerry Proves To the World That America Is Ruled By Morons by Signing U.N. Climate Deal

 

If anyone in the world was even a tad hesitant to resign themselves to the total collapse of reasoning and capability by leadership in the United States of America, they were pushed to that final realization yesterday by the clown-like, Keystone Kops-esque actions of Secretary of State John Kerry.

Yep, America has shown the world that we buy into the farce of global warming.  The idiots have gone from ruling the village to ruling the world. 

By the way, Mr. Kerry, we....THEE American people don't give one flying fuck WHAT the United Nations does.

John Kerry signs UN climate deal for United States

US Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday joined a queue of world leaders and senior officials to formally sign the Paris climate deal at the United Nations.

Washington's top diplomat came to the podium cradling one of his granddaughters in his arms and triggered warm applause from delegates as he signed the historic deal.

Earlier, Kerry had addressed the General Assembly to hail the agreement, which he said was the last chance to slow the devastating pace of human-generated climate change.

"We learned that 2015 was the hottest year in recorded history — by far," Kerry said, recalling last December's Paris summit where the agreement was finalized.

"And we learned that after knowing that the past decade was the hottest on record, and the one before that was the hottest on record," he continued.


"And now we know that this year is already on track to be the warmest of all, and last month, March, was the hottest recorded March in all of history.

"This past winter, the maximum extent of Arctic sea ice was the lowest ever reported breaking the record that was set just one year ago.


"So the urgency of this challenge is only becoming more pronounced."

Climate News: Only ‘Hobbit-Sized Humans’ Capable of Surviving Global Warming


The joint editor of the Climate News Network is warning that in as little as two centuries global warming will lead to "mass extinction," which may be good news for residents of "The Shire."

"Hobbit-sized humans, able to exist on less nourishing food, will have the best chance of survival in a warmer world, scientists say," said Paul Brown, a journalist and author, in an article entitled, "Mass extinction forecast with 6C temperature rise," published on Jan. 7.

Brown bases his claim on findings by the "Bighorn Basin Coring Project," a group of scientists from the United States, the UK, Germany, and Netherlands studying a "period 55 million years ago when the Earth's temperature rose suddenly."

He cautions that the planet's temperature is "expected" to rise rapidly by 6°C this century, having disastrous effects that only fictional characters from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy could sustain.

"What worries the scientists is that this current warming period will take as little as 200 years, if the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is correct," Brown said. "The result will be mass extinction, and for the survivors, humans, animals and insects, there will be a scramble to eat a diminishing and less nutritious food supply."

“Dwarfism is again expected to be a successful strategy for the survivors, enabling humans, animals and insects to mature earlier with less food and so reproduce before they starve,” he said.

“In the next 100 years the combination of more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and increased temperature could be ‘catastrophic’ for an overpopulated world, according to one of the scientists involved,” Brown said.

“With food supply drastically reduced, evolutionary forces suggest hobbit-sized humans who needed to eat less would have the greatest chance of survival.”

However, Brown says, "Animals, including humans, will shrink" in order to survive "a warming world."

Triumph For The Global Warming Crowd! GM Sells 250 Chevy Volts In December!

I swear, I am literally on the floor, rolling and laughing at loud at this little story that was put up at Breitbart. The sales in December have been posted for electric cars from GM and Nissan and well....see for yourself:

This was the year General Motors Co. and Nissan made good on their promise to bring mass-produced electric cars to the market. But don't count on seeing one in traffic anytime soon. Sales so far have been microscopic and they're likely to stay that way for some time.

GM sold between 250 and 350 Chevy Volts this month and Nissan's sales totaled less than 10 Leaf sedans in the past two weeks. Production for both is slowly ramping up, and supplies are limited.

Can you imagine? Government Motors makes the economic decision to commit the capital, space and workforce to producing the electric Volt and is averaging sales of 10 cars per day. I think I know a used car salesman in Ames, Iowa that sells 10 cars in one day.

And don't let all of this bullshit about "slowly ramping up" or "production is slow" fool ya...the reason they aren't producing any of these misfit vehicles is a) there's no bloody orders for them from dealers and b) they are finding all kinds of "bugs" in 'em.

So, everyone, let's gather around the statues of Al Gore and Barack Hussein Obama in the city square and give it up for them, three times: "Hail to Going Green! Hail to Going Green! Hail to Going Green!"

It will be well into 2012 before both the Volt and Leaf are available nationwide. And if you're not one of the 50,000 people already on waiting lists, it could take six months before you will be able to walk in and haggle with a salesman over the price of one of them on the lot.

Notice To All Climate Change Advocates, All Members of the "Go Green" Army

All of you out there in America and across the globe who have fought so hard to tackle the hideous enemy of our planet, namely carbon emissions, you know ....that bogus god you worship of "Climate Change" or "global warming" ....well, I feel it is necessary to inform you of some bad news. It really does pain me to have to bring you this disappointing information.

Okay, here's the bombshell. The current volcanic eruption going on in Iceland, since its first spewing of volcanic ash this past week, has, to this point, NEGATED EVERY SINGLE EFFORT you have made in the past five years to control CO2 emissions on our planet.

I know, I know.... (group hug)...it's very disheartening to realize that all of the carbon emission savings you have accomplished while suffering the inconvenience and expense of: driving Prius hybrids, buying fabric grocery bags, sitting up til midnight to finish your kid's "The Green Revolution" science project, throwing out all of your non-green cleaning supplies, using only two squares of toilet paper, putting a brick in your toilet tank reservoir, selling your SUV and speedboat, going on vacation to a city park instead of Yosemite, nearly getting hit every day on your bicycle, replacing all of your $1 light bulbs with $10 light bulbs ...well, all of those things you have done have all gone down the tubes in just the past four days.

The volcanic ash emitted into the Earth's atmosphere in the past four days has totally erased every single effort you have made to reduce the evil beast, carbon.

I'm so sorry. And I do wish I had a silver lining to this volanic ash cloud but the fact of the matter is that the brush fire season across the western U.S.A. will start in about two months and those fires will negate your efforts to reduce carbon in our world for the next two years.

The Global Warming Cult Stands Accused

This really is an excellent piece written by Alan Caruba over at Family Security Matters. Read this over and just TRY to add up the dollar figures that will be spent in this world based on the fraud and hoax of global warming.

In 1898, an article by the great French novelist, Emile Zola was published in L’Aurore. It was addressed to the President of France. Zola accused the military of having wrongly convicted Capt. Alfred Dreyfus, a Jewish artillery officer, of treason, incarcerating him for years on Devil’s Island. The title of the article was “J’Accuse!” Zola’s courage has been an inspiration for writers ever since.

It is in this spirit that I issue my own version of “I Accuse.”

I accuse the United Nations environmental program in general and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in particular of creating a huge hoax, “global warming”, in order to reduce energy use and to create a phony market for so-called “carbon credits,” based on the lie that carbon dioxide plays a role in the alleged warming process.

The Earth is not warming. It is cooling. Meteorologists, climatologists, and solar physicists agree that it has been cooling for at least a decade and predict the cooling will continue for several decades to come.

I accuse the President of the United States and politicians from both political parties for engaging in this deception for their own purposes, while ignoring the peril to the nation’s economy and future. Billions have been and continue to be misallocated to bogus “solutions” such as solar and wind power, the mandate for an ethanol mixture with gasoline, and the construction of a vast regulatory and grant-making apparatus based on the global warming hoax.

I accuse the Obama administration and those members of Congress of seeking to impose a “Cap-and-Trade” bill based entirely on the hoax. It would tax all energy use in America, thus increasing the cost of energy while further reducing the personal income and savings of all Americans. It would codify a bogus market for carbon credits.

I accuse all of the scientists who sought to justify global warming by deliberately publishing falsely documented studies or studies that purported to justify the hoax by attributing natural phenomena to global warming. I accuse them of engaging in such practices to advance their careers and for accepting government largess to further the hoax.

I accuse the academic community for permitting their publications and research programs to be corrupted by the global warming hoax and for lending the prestige of their institutions to its advancement.

I accuse those elements of the nation’s and the world’s media for advancing the global warming hoax in the face of increasing evidence that it is not occurring. It cannot occur at a time when solar activity is decreasing, thus reducing the radiation responsible for much of the Earth’s warming.

I accuse those media that continue to advance the global warming hoax via print and electronic broadcasting. I accuse all print and electronic journalists of failing their responsibility to investigate the bogus science put forth and for deliberately disparaging those scientists and others who disputed it, calling them “deniers.”

I accuse the U.S. Department of Education for the corruption of the nation’s school curriculums, using them to spread the hoax and indoctrinate thousands of students passing through the system with the belief that global warming exists. I accuse every publisher of school texts that advances this hoax.

I accuse former Vice President Gore of advancing the greatest hoax of the modern era and those who joined with him, awarded him honors, and sought to enrich themselves by doing so.

I accuse all the “environmental” organizations such as the Sierra Club, Friends of the Earth, and all others that have spent millions to advance the hoax to advance their collective and individual agendas.

I accuse the Environmental Protection Agency of falsely asserting that carbon dioxide is a “pollutant” that must be regulated when it is essential to all life on the planet. It is vital for all plant life and plays no role in climate change except to react to it.

I accuse the EPA, Department of Energy, and Department of the Interior, in collusion with many “Green” organizations, of thwarting the construction of coal-fired and nuclear plants to generate the energy necessary to the growth and expansion of the nation’s economy, general welfare, and security.

Lastly, I applaud those many courageous scientists from various disciplines and all others who have stepped forth to denounce the global warming theory with the presentation of legitimate science. The entire world is in their debt.

Al Gore Called ' Prophet ' After Baptist Group Speech

Okay, not the usual type of post here at Holger Awakens but I couldn't resist this headline and the fact that many conservatives have accused Al Gore (the Goracle) of literally creating a Religion of Global Warming.

Hmmm...global warming...and Bibles? Global climate change from a pulpit? Okay, now a warning to all future audiences of Al Gore. If you see the ushers start to pass out glasses of a curiously bright colored fruity drink during one of his sermons, you may want to pass on whetting your whistle!

Al Gore called 'prophet' at liberal Baptist meeting

Al Gore has used a speech to hundreds attending Jimmy Carter's liberal Baptist meeting in Atlanta to sell his global warming campaign.

The newspaper goes on to quote Gore as telling the crowd that "if we heap contempt on God's creation, that is inconsistent with glorifying God" -- and comparing the "rising storm" of the alleged climate crisis to the rise of the Nazi party in the 1930s.

And it appears Gore had plenty of disciples at the gathering. According to The Tennessean, Robert Parham, executive director of the Nashville-based Baptist Center for Ethics, called Gore a "Baptist prophet." In introducing Gore, Parham said, "prophets are unacceptable because their truth is inconvenient." The newspaper also quotes Todd Lake, vice president for spiritual development at Belmont University, as saying Gore had opened his eyes to the scale of global warming. "Not only do we have a crisis, we have a mounting crisis," Lake stated. Despite the apparent success Gore enjoyed at the meeting, many people question the former vice president's claims about global warming. They argue the earth is simply going through another cycle of changes, as it has since the beginning of time.
