New Campaign Against Rep. Bachmann for Anti-Brotherhood Stance


People for the American Way (PFAW) has launched a new campaign against Representative Michele Bachmann (R-MN), who, after her recent re-election to Congress, has been re-appointed to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).

A PFAW-sponsored petition with 178,000 signatures is to be presented to House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) on Monday 21 January 2012 to protest Bachmann’s HPSCI appointment.

Citing what PFAW calls “ugly Islamophobic fear mongering,” the petition decries what it alleges are Bachmann’s “unfounded and irresponsible attacks on dedicated public servants.”

Although it does not say so specifically, the PFAW petition likely refers to a set of letters signed by Rep. Bachmann and four Congressional colleagues – Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Trent Franks (R-AZ), Tom Rooney (R-FL) and Lynn Westmorland (R-GA).

The letters were sent in June 2012 to the inspectors general of the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Justice and State and the Office of the Director of National Security (ODNI). The letters note that U.S. foreign policy has undergone a dramatic shift in the direction of open support for the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood to power across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and question whether that policy shift may be the result of Brotherhood influence operations.

Given that the 2008 Holy Land Foundation HAMAS terror funding case had established with voluminous documentary evidence from the Muslim Brotherhood’s own archives that its mission in America is “a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within,” Congressional requests, most particularly from the HPSCI, that inspectors general look into the possibility of Brotherhood penetration into the highest levels of the U.S. government would seem to be most appropriate.

As the debacle of the Islamic Awakening continues to churn across the MENA (Middle East North Africa) region, and Muslim Brotherhood operatives consolidate their sharia rule in Tunisia, Libya and Egypt (and move closer to ousting Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad), the collaboration of the U.S. government in the Brotherhood’s “grand Jihad” is as critical to the jihadis as it is inexplicable to defenders of genuine democracy both at home and abroad.

As Rep. Bachmann and her colleagues rightly pointed out, U.S. policy, once implacably opposed to the march of Islamic jihad, shifted dramatically during the years following the 9/11 attacks. At the same time, individuals with close links to the Muslim Brotherhood were named to advisory and appointed government positions.

Huma Abedin, for example, who is Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, not only served while a student at George Washington University on the Executive Board of the Muslim Students Association (MSA), a Muslim Brotherhood front group that is so acknowledged in its own document (The Explanatory Memorandum), but also served for 12 years as the assistant editor of the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs (JMMA), the publication of the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA).

Both the IMMA and its journal were founded by Abdullah Omar Naseef, whom Andrew McCarthy describes as “a wealthy and influential Saudi academic who became a financier of the al Qaeda terror network as well as the secretary-general of Muslim World League – one of the most significant joint ventures of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Saudi government in terms of spreading Islamic supremacist ideology.”

Then there is Mohamed Magid, the president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the largest Muslim Brotherhood front group in the U.S. and named by the Department of Justice an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation HAMAS terror funding trial.

As with Abedin, Magid’s leadership of an acknowledged affiliate of a jihadist organization pledged to “destroying the Western civilization from within” seemed no obstacle to a U.S. government advisory appointment on an issue directly related to jihad. Magid was named a member of the Department of Homeland Security’s “Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Working Group” of the Homeland Security Advisory Council in Spring 2010.

Mohamed Elibiary, Magid’s colleague on the DHS Working Group is also a member of the DHS Advisory Council itself. Elibiary has defended Sayyed Qutb, perhaps the foremost theoretician of the Muslim Brotherhood, and recommended his writings. He also spoke at a December 2004 conference in honor of Iran’s Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini entitled, “A Tribute to a Great Islamic Visionary.”

Abedin, Magid, and Elibiary are but three examples cited with careful and thorough references in the Congressional letters to the inspectors general; all were named to serve in U.S. government positions in which they are expected to provide advice on official policy related to Islamic terrorism.

During their collective government tenure, U.S. policy backed al-Qaeda-affiliated militias to overthrow the government of Libya and replace it with one strongly influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood; supported the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood to oust the government of Hosni Mubarak, an American ally for over 30 years; and openly declared support for al-Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood-linked rebel militias fighting to oust the Syrian regime of Bashar al-Assad.

Further, during the period when Abedin, Magid, Elibiary and like-minded figures have been in positions to influence U.S. policy “from within,” the U.S. government has implemented a federal-bureaucracy-wide policy to purge from official documents, speech, and training all usage of terms like “jihad” to describe terrorism that is motivated by Islamic doctrine, law and scriptures.

And yet, the questionable allegiances, background history and documented positions of these and others in support of individuals, organizations and positions that espouse Islamic terrorism not only failed to alert any independent counterintelligence authorities within their respective Cabinet departments or during background investigation processes. Unbelievably, the documented history of these individuals seemed of insignificant merit to attract strong bipartisan support even when Reps. Bachmann, Franks, Gohmert, Rooney and Westmoreland courageously and appropriately raised the issue themselves.

It is part of the duties of the inspectors general to investigate even the appearance of conflict of interest lest public trust in its federal servants be eroded. When the possible conflict of interest involves the forces of Islamic jihad, the very enemy that attacked us on 9/11, the one battling to defeat American troops fighting in Africa, Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere, then the obligation to take seriously the warnings of patriotic Congressional representatives is indeed a serious one.

American Patriot, Defender of Israel...Rep. Michele Bachmann Travels To Israel To Show Her Determination To Defend G_d and Israel

Good for Michele Bachmann.  As most of the cowards of the world bow to the pressure of the Islamists and the Communists and turn their backs on the nation of Israel, Rep. Michele Bachmann puts her money where her mouth is and flies to Israel to remind the people of that country that they deserve the TOTAL support of the United States of America.

Bless you, Rep. Bachmann.  Long live Israel and let the enemies of her feel the Father's wrath as well as the appeasers of her enemies.

Bachmann: Israel Needs U.S. Support More than Ever


Electricity filled the air on Sunday evening, December 2nd, as over 2,000 people gathered for the annual gala dinner supporting the town of Bet El, a vibrant and growing Jewish community nestled in the hills of the Shomron (Samaria) in Israel. Held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square and sponsored by the American Friends of Bet El Yeshiva Center, this year's event marked their 30th soiree and featured a panoply of distinguished personalities in the Jewish and pro-Israel communities.

Highlighting the evening's proceedings was guest speaker, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R) of Minnesota, a former would-be GOP candidate for president in the recent 2012 elections. An outspoken supporter of Israel and the expansion of the Jewish settlement movement in Judea and Samaria, Bachmann told her audience to thunderous applause, "Israel is G-d's idea. All we're doing is following Him."

Calling the modern state of Israel a "miracle" and the fulfillment of the prophecies spoken of in the book of Ezekiel in the Bible, Ms. Bachmann praised the Jewish nation saying, "the Jewish people inspired the world with Jewish faith, Jewish values and Jewish tenacity, and it is the Jewish people who were privileged to be the keepers of the light of the Torah."

Recalling the time she spent in Israel living on a kibbutz in the Negev in the summer of 1974 as an 18-year old, fresh out of high school, Bachmann said, "I will never, ever forget that most memorable experience. As a naive girl from the mid-West, I didn't know what to expect. The conditions there were primitive; it was the summer and there were no ice cubes to be had and I picked weeds in the cotton fields while soldiers carrying machine guns went through the fields searching for land mines. I felt honored and deeply moved to be just a small part of helping to make the state of Israel blossom. It is in my heart and soul forever."

With respect to Pillar of Defense, Bachmann said, "Israel has the right and obligation to defend herself and history has proven that no concessions that Israel could ever make would be acceptable to their enemies."

Calling the recent United Nations vote granting the Palestinians non-member observer statehood "wildly inappropriate" and "shameful," Bachmann said that the UN had "rewarded Hamas with their first step toward statehood" and reminded her audience that "Israel's enemies are committed to the complete destruction of Israel and the Jewish people."

Bachmann also took issue with the Obama administration for their constant pressure of Israel to make suicidal concessions in the name of a false peace. "When we heard President Obama's infamous speech in Cairo, it was quite clear that his support for Israel was not certain at all", she intoned. "Since the inception of the modern state of Israel and since the days of Harry Truman, we always had Israel's back. Now, Israel needs US support more than ever," she added.

Calling on the US and the international community to throw their total support behind Israel in the face of mounting concerns about its security, Ms. Bachmann said, "Such groups as Hamas, Hizbullah and Iran are the epitome of evil. Throughout the Middle East, benign autocratic regimes have been replaced with governments that call for the ascendancy of Sharia law. We must rise up to our moral obligation of calling these forces for what they are and that is evil. There is no other word for it. They are evil."

She also exhorted her audience to exercise their rights of self-expression. "We must vote with our feet and our wallets. We must call upon our government to stop funding the UN with money borrowed from China. The PLO should now lose all US aid because of their misguided UN initiative and Israel must be accorded the respect of any other sovereign nation."

"Our ongoing support of Israel is why we've been singularly blessed as a nation. As we know, G-d blesses the nations that bless Israel. To that end, President Obama must declare Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel and he must immediately move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem," she added.

Beginning the evening with the recitation of Psalm 130, the list of this year's awardees were announced. Rabbi Pesach Lerner, the executive vice president emeritus of the National Council of Young Israel, was the recipient of the coveted Rabbinic Leadership Award for his outspoken support for Torat Yisrael, Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael. Rabbi Lerner has been in the forefront of the movement seeking the release of Jonathan Pollard from federal prison.

"We are now entering the 28th year of Jonathan Pollard's imprisonment", he said. "Just the other day Jonathan collapsed in prison and was hospitalized. His health is deteriorating rapidly. We ask that you keep Jonathan in your prayers. Keep speaking out for his freedom. Keep writing letters to your elected officials and never forget our brother, Jonathan", he added

Brian Decker, a senior vice-president of Bear, Stearns and Company was presented with the Shomer Bet El Award for his constant dedication to Israel's survival. Earlier this year, Decker made his first trip to Bet El, where he quickly bonded with the initiatives and energies of the community and with Bet El founder, Knesset Member Ketzaleh.

Prominent New York attorney and real estate investor, Mark Langfan, was presented with the Shomer Yisroel award for his tenacious work as a champion and defender of Israel's rights. For several decades, Langfan has exclusively dedicated himself to explaining Israel's security needs to government officials and audiences throughout the world. Using a three-dimensional topographical model and map of Israel that he designed himself, Langfan discusses the implications of the strategic height and depth of the mountains of Judea, Samaria and the Golan Heights for the future of Israel's vital security interests, as well as its water resources.

This year's Guests of Honor were Shelley and Ronnie Summers, active Bet El committee members for over a decade. The Summers have dedicated countless hours working behind the scenes to ensure that each and every Bet El dinner is a resounding success, while serving in leadership roles at the Young Israel of Hillcrest for many years.

Libya Cover-Up Vindicates Bachmann


What is the truth about the horrific attack in Benghazi on September 11th, 2012 that killed our ambassador to Libya and three others? And why has it been so hard to get that truth out of the Obama administration?

We now know that these murders were not the result of some spontaneous demonstration run amok in response to a video critical of Islam's founder, Mohammed. Rather, they were the result of a carefully planned and well-executed military operation conducted by jihadists associated with al Qaeda.

It turns out the Obama administration knew at least the broad outlines of that reality within hours of the attack.

So why did assorted administration officials tell us otherwise for days afterwards? For example, long after there was reason to believe a jihadist military attack killed the four Americans in Benghazi, UN Ambassador Susan Rice, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and the President himself insisted that it was just unpremeditated, disorganized violence which was precipitated by an amateur filmmaker in California.

Fortunately, that preposterous party line has now become untenable, thanks to a series of statements - both on and off the record - by counterterrorism and intelligence officials and congressional sources disputing Team Obama's original, dissembling accounts.

The administration is clearly furious that it is being exposed in the run-up to the President's reelection as having deliberately and knowingly disinformed the American people, so it is now trying to shunt the blame onto the intelligence community.

The new line is that the Obama administration didn't mislead the American people. Rather, we are told it was given bum dope by its intelligence agencies. Specifically, the President's flaks want us to believe that, because some in the intelligence community were unable - or at least unwilling - to say early on exactly which jihadist group was responsible, the administration was on solid ground in saying there were none involved. This is, of course, no more tenable than the previous lie.

So why would the Obama administration engage in such dissembling - both the original deception and the effort to cover it up?

There seem to be three factors at work.

First, Team Obama is frantically trying to obscure the utter failure of the President's reckless engagement with and investment in the Muslim Brotherhood, its various fronts in this country, and other Islamists.

The calculation seems to be that, if the administration can deflect attention from the fact that such jihadists have predictably begun to institute totalitarian shariah rule and otherwise destabilize the Middle East, Mr. Obama can dodge a potentially lethal political bullet - at least until after the critical presidential election on November 6th.

Second, Team Obama seems to have calculated that, by insisting a video was responsible for the attack - and not its own fecklessness and submissiveness that have greatly emboldened our enemies - it can protect and actually advance an agenda it has been developing together with the Islamists.

In fact, ever since it came to office, the Obama administration has sought to accommodate Islamist demands that freedom of expression be curbed, lest it offend Muslims and stoke violence.

For example, in 2009, it co-sponsored a UN Human Rights Council resolution along those lines. In 2011, it launched the so-called "Istanbul Process" to find common ground with proponents of shariah blasphemy laws who seek to strip us of our First Amendment freedoms.

And in September 2012, President Obama announced at the United Nations: "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam" - a stance indistinguishable from that of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Taliban, and al Qaeda.

In practice, the administration's insistence on avoiding offense to Muslims - and, as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton put it, "old-fashioned shaming and peer-pressure" on those who do so - has had the inevitable effect: self-censorship is now being widely practiced in America.

Ironically, this appears to be the case, for example, with Hollywood filmmakers now fearful of releasing a flattering movie they had made with help from Team Obama about the President's role in killing Osama bin Laden.

All other things being equal, further shariah-commanded erosions in our constitutional freedom of speech seem inevitable.

Third, the Obama administration's Libya debacle and subsequent cover-up demand the sort of investigations that five Members of Congress - Representatives Michele Bachmann, Louie Gohmert, Trent Franks, Lynn Westmoreland and Tom Rooney - asked for back in June. They formally requested that five federal agencies' inspectors general examine the extent to which individuals with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood who are, nonetheless, serving in various official capacities may be influencing U.S. government policies. Of particular concern is the extent to which those policies are coming ever more into alignment with the Islamists' agenda.

The Muslim Brotherhood's penetration of the Obama administration was put into even sharper relief after the Libya attacks when a prominent - and highly controversial - figure in the Islamist infrastructure in America, Salam al-Marayati president of the Muslim Brotherhood's Muslim Public Affairs Council, was made an official U.S. representative at an international human rights conference in October in Warsaw. In response to well-founded criticism about Marayati's long record of anti-semitism, support for terrorist groups and ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, the State Department spokeswoman actually defended him as "valued and highly credible."

We need the truth - about what happened in Libya, about the subsequent cover-up, about the Obama administration's acquiescence to shariah blasphemy laws and, not least, about the influence Islamists "inside the wire" are exercising in all these areas and more - to the grave detriment of our constitutional rights and security.

Will America's Conservatives Allow The Slaughter of Michele Bachmann?

Okay folks, there isn't a person in America (and yes, that even includes the most devout Leftists in the country) that won't agree that Sarah Palin was publicly slaughtered by the DNC and the Main Stream Media in 2008 and it continues to this day. Most of us watched in disbelief as the Left honed in on Palin and attacked her worse than any other woman politician in the history of this country. Actually, you could make the claim that no other politician, male OR female, has seen the level of attacks that Palin was exposed to. If you are a true conservative, a true American...you are sickened by what happened to Sarah Palin but to a greater extent, you should be ASHAMED for not having lept to your feet to have done all you could to defend this patriot.

With that all being said, some of us witnessed a similar attack on Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota) during her reelection campaign in 2008. I'd like to list some of the headlines that met Bachmann in 2008 as she stood up to then Senator Barack Hussein Obama and others on the Left (I'm not doing links to these article because I don't have the time...if you doubt the sources, leave a comment and i'll post the link in comments):

Okay, that's enough ... believe me, I could fill up 10 pages of it. Here's the point of all of this. In the 2008 Congressional campaign between Bachmann and her Democrat opponent in Minnesota, Bachmann enjoyed a comfortable double digit lead in the polls...then Bachmann had the infamous interview with Chris Matthews where she alluded to the unAmerican policies of Barack Obama (that wasn't clairvoyant at all, was it?). At that point, the Democratic National Committee did an all out blitz on Bachmann in Minnesota - they pumped HUGE dollars into her challenger's campaign, they sent a horde of volunteers into outstate Minnesota and swarmed the electorate trying to take her out. And they nearly succeeded. Bachmann won re-election in a mostly conservative district by a mere three percentage points.

Listen to me here. In the 10 months prior to the election in 2008, Bachmann's opponent, the dirtyassin Democrat raised a paltry $1 million in campaign funds. In a manner of one month after the DNC put the bullseye on her back, Bachmann's opponent raised $8.1 million.

So, you conservatives from Maine to California, from Florida to Alaska, from Montana to Texas...the gauntlet will be laid down again when Michele Bachmann seeks reelection in 2010. The Democrats, the Leftists, the Marxists and the Communists will all be after her again and this time it appears that Bachmann may face a female opponent. Odds are pretty good that Bachmann will face a state senator from Minnesota by the name of Tarryl Clark.

I won't detail everything wrong with Tarryl Clark here because it would take all night but suffice to say, Tarryl Clark never met a tax she didn't like. She's one of these clowns that figures if we spend $100 trillion a year on Education in America, it won't be enough. Did I mention that Tarryl Clark claims she's for "the kids" and the "working people" but fails to admit that she was a lobbyist for several years?

Here's the nitty gritty. Here's the CALL TO ARMS. Conservatives of America gird your loins and open your pocketbooks because Michele Bachmann is worth fighting for next year. She speaks to our core values as conservatives as well as portrays the ethics of an American patriot. Michele Bachmann speaks more about the U.S. Constitution than any other Congressperson in America.

Will we give her up to the wolves like we did Sarah Palin? I hope not. At the same time, perhaps the Democratic National Committee and Tarryl Clark need to understand one thing: If the Palin-like attacks begin on Bachmann in 2010, then the war will be engaged and Tarryl Clark better have on her best suit of armor. Clark's skin density may just be tested. In fact, I think it's safe to say that some conservatives out there may just take a sincere interest in defending Michele Bachmann with what could be described as a good offense - in other words, an eye for an eye, an attack for an attack. Mrs. Clark, if you aren't prepared for it, perhaps you ought to communicate your feelings to the Democat National Committee prior to your run. Again, let me repeat...if Tarryl Clark wants to run a fair campaign on the issues, then that is what she will get and she will lose. If Tarryl Clark wants to run a wicked campaign of personal attacks, she won't get a hands off approach from conservatives. Will she? This is war, folks. Get your gear on.

Why Is The Left Going After Congresswoman Michele Bachmann?

Awhile back I posted here at Holger Awakens why the Left had gone after Sarah Palin with such a vengeance. And now, we see the same rabid attacks from the Left against Congresswoman Michele Bachmann from Minnesota, although many attacks started against Bachmann way back in 2008 during her reelection campaign after she had openly questioned whether Barack Hussein Obama may be "anti-American." Well, here's a partial list of Left Wing Blogs that have recently run attack posts on Michele Bachmann:

Along with that, from the MSM, we have seen Keith Olbermann of MSNBC call Bachmann the "worst person in America" and Chris Matthews called her the "Mata Hari of Minnesota" ...oh, and how about Bill Maher...let's see what old Bill said: "this Congresswoman in Minnesota is the only person dumber than Sarah Palin."

So, I ask you...why are all of these lefty blogs and MSN pundits so obsessed with Bachmann? Last time I checked, Michele Bachmann represented a Congressional district in Minnesota that covers a more rural area of the state with the biggest city in her district having about 100,000 people. Well, the reason the Left is taking on Bachmann is the same reason they have taken on Palin - she scares them.

What Bachmann represents to the Left in America is simply the garlic or daylight to a vampire...in other words, Bachmann carries the message that turns the knees of any Leftist/Progressive/Liberal to jelly and that message is that of core Conservatism. Bachmann speaks continually of small government, personal liberties, the U.S. Constitution and the American Dream. Every single one of her talking points, of her positions cannot be disputed or debated by the Leftists so they resort to the all-too-typical method of the Left...personal attack.

As many of you know, most Leftists in America are extremely insecure with themselves...they suffer from a self esteem level lower than a snail's belly. At the same time, they appear to have never really matured as most human beings. Thus, you will see the Left attack Bachmann (or Palin) with insults such as "kook", "right wing extremist", "dumb", and "lunatic." I think many of us can remember when, as children, we found ourselves in an emotional situation and we lost our little tempers and lashed out at a friend or classmate and called them "fat" or "stoopid." And now we see grown men and grown women doing the same...often on national television or in widely read blogosphere writings.

So, for Conservatives out there, if you wish to see which Conservative politicians are spot on with their arguments, I suggest you focus on which politicians the Lefties like Olbermann or Matthews or DailyKos or LGF or HuffPo are berating with these childish labels and tantrum-like assaults. Those are the Conservatives that are hitting the Left where it hurts.

So, the bottom line is that when you turn on the television here over the next few days and you see a Leftist media tool ranting about Michele Bachmann's threat to not fill out her census form, don't get all upset at him/her....you can just sit back and chuckle because you are seeing a Leftist in fear, a Leftist who knows that the Truth will kill them.

I'll leave you with this thought: Can you remember any real personal attacks on Senator John McCain during the Presidential Campaign by the Left? I personally, cannot. Because John McCain never threatened them with the Conservative message. I do remember the Left personally attacking a Conservative politician years ago...his name was Ronald Wilson Reagan and this is what Christopher Hitchens had to say about him:

"The famously genial grin turned into a rictus of senile fury: I was looking at a cruel and stupid lizard."

As I said, the personal attacks are proof we are winning. Congresswoman Bachmann, please keep pissing them off.
