Hallelujah America! The Blind Sheik Is Dead and Burns In Eternal Hell

I'm really torn as to what puts a bigger smile on my face - the absolute crushing defeat of Hillary Clinton or the death of the Blind Sheik - I'll call it a toss up for now.

Rot in Hell, you POS - see?  We told you the the 72 virgin thing was a scam.

The story comes from Al Arabiya.

Islamic Group’s ‘Blind Sheikh’ Omar Abdel-Rahman dies in US prison

Former leader of Egyptian Islamist militant group Al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya Omar Abdel-Rahman has died in his US prison after serving more than 20 years for seditious conspiracy to commit murder, his son and daughter have confirmed.

Abdel-Rahman, also known as the Blind Sheik, was serving a life sentence in the United States for his role in masterminding the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Reuters news agency reported Abdel-Rahman’s son confirming the death while his daughter Asmaa Abdel-Rahman took to Twitter to announce the news.

The 78-year-old spiritual leader of Al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya, or the Islamic Group, was revered within extremist circles in Egypt during the early 1980s. He was charged on suspicion of involvement in the 1981 assassination of Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat, which he was acquitted of involvement later.

Abdel-Rahman would then travel to the US in 1990 where he preached in Brooklyn and New Jersey mosques, according to federal prosecutors.

He would be convicted five years later on charges of conspiring to “levy a war of urban terrorism against the United States,” including the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, which killed six people, and a plan to blow up the United Nations headquarters and other New York landmarks.

Write It Down Everyone - The U.S. State Dept Says "they don't negotiate with terrorists" When Asked about Releasing the Blind Sheik

Just so we are all clear on this - the State Department of Barack Hussein Obama is saying that they don't negotiate with terrorists when asked about the rumored deal to release the Blind Sheik from U.S. custody.  I want you to write it down for the day when the Blind Sheik walks out of a U.S. prison and boards a plane for Egypt.

The story comes from CNS News.

State Dept: ‘The U.S. Does Not Negotiate with Terrorists'

The State Department was firm on Friday, when reporters asked whether the U.S. government was considering releasing Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, commonly known as “the Blind Sheikh,” the mastermind behind the 1993 World Trade Center attack.

“The United States does not negotiate with terrorists,” State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said.

In an Algerian gas field named Ain Amenas on Wednesday, a group of Islamist militants known only as the “Masked Brigade,” took hostage over 30 individuals from the US and elsewhere who work at the facility.

According to reports, the militants have offered to release two American hostages in exchange for the U.S. releasing the Blind Sheikh from federal prison, as well as Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani neuroscientist who is serving a life sentence for the attempted murder of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan.

Nuland, pressed by a reporter who asked -- “The terrorists are asking for the release of Omar Abdel-Rahman and Aafia Siddiqui from the US prisons. Do you have any reaction to that?” – simply repeated her stand.

“I’ll say it again -- the United States does not negotiate with terrorists,” she said.

Throughout the press conference, Nuland reiterated several times her current inability to go into details about the situation on the ground, and the American hostages who were taken.

“I’m not going to speak about any Americans, the conditions that they find themselves in until we’re able to speak about the entire situation, which we’re not at this stage,” Nuland said in response to a questions about the situation in Algeria.

Al Qaeda's al-Zawahiri Vows To Free the Blind Sheik

Al Qaeda's leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri released a statement where he vows to see that the Blink Sheik, Omar Abdul Rahman, be released from imprisonment in the United States and at the same time, al-Zawahiri mourned the martyrdom of the Blind Sheik's son who was blown into a thousand tiny bits of jihadi scum by a U.S. JDAM in Afghanistan.

You know, when it comes to the Blind Sheik...it seems to me that possibly the United States of America wasn't the best target for his jihad - the old man sits now in a U.S. prison rotting from his failed attempt in 1993 to bring down the Twin Towers and now his son can only be remembered as a fine red mist splattering the soil of Afghanistan.  And unless Barack Hussein Obama releases this dog, the "glorious" Blind Sheik will die in an America prison looking out through the bars at women in mini skirts and free people loving life.

The story comes from The Long War Journal.

Zawahiri notes death of Blind Sheikh's son 'on the pure soil of Khorasan'

In al Qaeda emir Ayman al Zawahiri's recent message on Egypt, he made a point of recognizing Ahmed Omar Abdul Rahman, the son of the "Blind Sheikh" (Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman), the spiritual leader of the Egyptian Islamic Group who is in a US jail for the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center. Ahmed was killed in a US airstrike in Afghanistan last fall; his death was noted by the Egyptian Islamic Group in a martyrdom statement released on Oct. 15, 2011.

This is what Zawahiri had to say, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, which translated his statement:

The second condolence is for the patient, stationed sheikh, our sheikh and the sheikh of the mujahideen, his Excellency Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman, may Allah release him, and his son Muhammad, who is known as Assad, and his noble family, for the martyrdom of their son Ahmed bin Omar Abdul Rahman, may Allah have mercy on him, in an American bombing on the pure soil of Khorasan. May the vast mercy of Allah be upon him, and May He accept from him his jihad and emigration. May Allah grant this noble family that is patient with hardships in the cause of Allah, patience and solace.

Zawahiri immediately followed up his condolences to the family of the radical Egyptian cleric by vowing to free him:

I confirm to our honorable sheikh, Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman, and to his sons and the women of the Muslim captives and their families, that we will never spare any efforts, with the help and power of Allah, until we release every captive in the hands of the disbelievers or die trying.

Two quick comments on Zawahiri's statement:

1) Ahmed is one of several Egyptian Islamic Group fighters and leaders killed while waging jihad in the Afghan-Pakistan theater. See The Long War Journal's report on Ahmed's death for a list of some of them. Although it is often assumed that the Egyptian Islamic Group has shunned violence and joined the political process (it launched the Building and Development Party and won 13 seats in parliament in 2011), members of the group still wage jihad overseas and its leaders still endorse al Qaeda. For instance, Rifai Ahmed Taha Musa, its former leader, acknowledged that "there was a relationship between al Qaeda and the Islamic Group," but said "it was not in the form of a common organizational framework." Instead, Musa said it "was similar to a relationship between any two political parties," with "exchanged benefits." [See LWJ report, Al Qaeda-linked jihadists helped incite 9/11 Cairo protest, for more details.]

2) Releasing the Blind Sheikh from US custody remains a cause célèbre for al Qaeda and a host of jihadist groups. For instance, just four days ago, Shabaab, al Qaeda's affiliate in Somalia, pledged to continue to work to free the jihadist cleric, and on the same day it threatened to attack Britain over the extradition of Abu Hamza al Masri, another radical cleric linked to al Qaeda [see LWJ report, Shabaab threatens Britain over extradition of Abu Hamza al Masri.

If Obama's Crew Lied About the Libya Consulate Attack, Can We Trust That They Aren't Going To Release the Blind Sheik?

The American people have been insulated from the lies of Barack Hussein Obama and his gang of Administration misfits by the Main Stream Media but even the mighty media couldn't cover up the lies put out to cover up the terrorist attack on our people in Libya so one can ask the question whether or not we can believe any statements that the release of the Blind Sheik is not going to happen.

The story comes from Family Security Matters.

A Duplicitous Administration: After Libya and More, We Can Hardly Trust Obama on the Blind Sheikh

If they lie, you can't trust them. That's a fairly straightforward rule. It is certainly the one that trial lawyers bank on.

It is not a hard and fast rule. A person may shade the truth for various reasons: vanity, personal allegiances, financial incentives, etc. Usually, once you figure out the relevant motivation, you can sort out on what matters he is probably credible and what he is prone to lie about. Sometimes, though, the story is so unbelievable, so insulting to the intelligence, that a rational juror knows it is best to discount all of the testimony - or, worse, to conclude that the truth is likely the opposite of the witness's desperate version.

Of course, all the world's a stage, not a courtroom. I am reminded of this when, as now, I happen to have a book out (Spring Fever: The Illusion of Islamic Democracy) that speaks to events currently roiling the world. I am reminded, that is, that I am no longer a trial lawyer making arguments to a jury. Now I am a writer who makes his arguments to the public and, at book-publication times like these, through the prism of the mainstream media. So it was that, in a few interviews this week, I have been asked about two currently raging symptoms of "Spring Fever," the Libya attacks and the Blind Sheikh.

Today's journalists do not resemble jurors. The interviews proceed in a now-familiar pattern. We go through the events of last week's atrocity in Libya, where U.S. ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were murdered in Benghazi. Again and again, Obama-administration officials insisted that the killings were the result of spontaneous rioting over an obscure movie casting Islam's prophet in an unflattering light - a movie from months ago, a movie virtually no one knew about, much less saw, a production so cockamamie that calling it a "movie" fails the straight-face test.

As the administration well knew, this was a coordinated jihadist attack led by al-Qaeda-affiliated forces, clearly well-trained and equipped with sophisticated weapons. One of the participants was a former Gitmo prisoner, detained there for years because it was patent that, given the chance, he'd go back to the jihad. There appears to have been forewarning about likely trouble on the 9/11 anniversary.

Did anyone really need in-depth intelligence to recognize these dangers? Part of the reason the United States struck up an alliance with Qaddafi's despicable regime was his intelligence cooperation: Per capita, Libya sent more jihadists to Iraq to fight against American troops than any other country. The only difference between then and now is that, with Obama having toppled Qaddafi in a war the U.S. launched without provocation and on the side of al-Qaeda, the rabidly anti-American Islamists of Benghazi now have access to high-powered weaponry previously unavailable to them. A movie? Before the president ever got to his unseemly Vegas fundraiser, with the nation still mourning its dead, it was pluperfectly obvious that we'd been subjected to a terrorist strike that had nothing to do with a moronic movie.

Yet our U.N. ambassador, Susan Rice, repeated the farcical Obama-admnistration line with a straight face. It was insulting, and even reporters for whom Obama can do no wrong could not take it seriously. In some of my interviews there has been nervous laughter - not over the situation, which is so deadly serious, but over the administration's line, which has been ludicrous.

But then we get to the Blind Sheikh. I prosecuted Omar Abdel Rahman back in my former trial-lawyer life. He is less than 20 years into his life sentence for terrorism convictions. During his time in prison, he nevertheless managed to issue the fatwa Osama bin Laden credited as the required sharia green-light for the 9/11 attacks. So I have been asked often this week about reports that he may be transferred to his native Egypt. There, as Spring Fever demonstrates, the populace is overwhelmingly adherent to the supremacist Islam that dominates the Middle East. There, his war against America makes him a hero, and he would be welcomed, triumphantly, as such.

Could that possibly happen? "You bet it could," I've told my interlocutors, "it could and it will." Watch for the frightening weeks between Election Day and Inauguration Day, when, no matter who wins the election, Barack Obama will retain all the awesome power of the presidency without any of the accountability of an impending election.

"But wait," I'm admonished. "They've denied it. The Justice Department has denied it. So has the State Department, and at least one member of the National Security Council. How much clearer can they be?"

I don't know. How much clearer could they have been about Libya?

The Obama administration is the witness whose testimony a jury would discount out of hand. We trust jurors to decide important questions because they bring to the task the common sense of the community. After Libya, the sensible person says, "Never again." The sensible person does not even see the point of asking Obama officials for information.

Not the media, though. Whether it is Libya, the "practically complete fence" along the Mexican border, the Obamacare tax that is not a tax, the indignant denial of gun-running, cutting the deficit in half by the end of the first term, the composite girlfriend, the "most transparent administration in history," and so on - the media compartmentalizes from lie to lie, assessing the next as if the last had never happened.

Does the president rate the benefit of the doubt at this point? Seriously?

No way this administration would spring a notorious terrorist? Are you kidding?

The president has already released the terrorists responsible for murdering our five soldiers in Karbala. In his last go-round at Justice, Eric Holder orchestrated pardons for convicted FALN terrorists - pardons signed off on by President Clinton, who went on to release two convicted Weather Underground terrorists on his way out the Oval Office door.

There is nothing new here. Reports that the State Department was discussing a transfer of the Blind Sheikh back to Egypt surfaced months ago, in the context of a potential swap for democracy activists the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces was then detaining. The administration then issued a visa to Hani Nour Eldin, a member of the Islamic Group - the Blind Sheikh's terrorist organization, to which it is a felony to provide material assistance. The purpose was to invite Eldin to, yes, the White House, for consultations with top American national-security officials on prospective relations between the United States and the new, Islamist Egypt. As the administration had to know he would do, he pressed his top agenda item: The United States must return the Blind Sheikh as a "gift to the revolution."

Eldin obviously felt very comfortable making the demand. We do not know exactly what he was told or what message he took back to Egypt. We do know that shortly afterward, as soon as the Muslim Brotherhood's Mohamed Morsi was announced as winner of the July presidential election, Morsi publicly vowed to pressure the United States to transfer the Blind Sheikh back home.

Did the Obama administration express outrage? Did the president tell Morsi, "Not in a million years"? No, he dispatched Secretary of State Clinton to Cairo for a friendly face-to-face meeting with Morsi - right after she paid a visit to the ruling generals, squeezing them to surrender power to the popularly elected Brotherhood regime. Then the Obama administration got about the business of planning both more billions in aid for Egypt and a red-carpet welcome for Morsi at the White House - the kind of meeting our actual ally, Israel, asked for but can't seem to get as our busy commander-in-chief bounces from David Letterman to Jay-Z.

But don't worry: Obama would never send the Blind Sheikh back to Egypt after the election, when the wrath of voters is no longer a concern for him. After all, administration officials have sworn otherwise, and we know we can take that to the bank, right?

SHOCKER of the YEAR: Obama To Release Blind Sheik, the First Bomber of the World Trade Center

This simply cannot be true.

If it is, Barack Hussein Obama must be impeached immediately.  No questions. No excuses.  This Presidency will now end.  Early.

From Pat Dollard.

BREAKING, SOURCE, SHOCK: Obama To Apologize To Muslims For Mohammed Movie By Freeing Blind Sheikh Who Bombed World Trade Center

According to Team Beck, the move is part of Obama’s apology for the Mohammed movie…

(THE BLAZE) The U.S. State Department is currently in negotiations with the Egyptian government for the transfer of custody of Omar Abdel-Rahman, also known as “the Blind Sheikh,” for humanitarian and health reasons, a source close to the the Obama administration told TheBlaze.

Glenn Beck revealed the controversial news on his show Monday.

The negotiations are allegedly part of the ongoing discussions with the Egyptian government to resolve the crisis plaguing the Middle East, the source told TheBlaze. Calls to the State Department for comment referred us to the Department of Justice, and nothing has been confirmed.

The Blind Sheikh is serving a life sentence in American prison for his role in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. His release has been called one of the top priorities of the new Islamist administration in Egypt. Many have pinpointed the cause of last week‘s unrest in Egypt to be protests over the Blind Sheikh’s release– not an anti-Islam YouTube video.

Citing the handling of the current crisis in the Middle East, and how the administration’s explanation that an anti-Islamic video is to blame, Beck warned that the administration may be trying to initiate a “Bubba effect.”

“If this is true, and we believe it to be true,” he explained, “I believe this administration is trying to initiate a ‘Bubba effect.’ That is, the average person turning against the government, collectively…because no one trusts them.”

“No matter how bad a citizen may be behaving, the citizen’s reaction is worse in the Bubba effect. We have to be very careful America…because it’s going to get tougher from here on out.”
