Chapter 15

It was upon the 11th day of the hot month of August in the year 2012.  Two weeks before the congregation of the Republicans were to meet and proclaim their choice for leader.  The Anointed One has accused the soon to be proclaimed of every crime that a person can commit.  The Good Romney was accused of lying, and stealing, not paying of taxes (The worst crime to The Anointed One.), and the murder of a woman by giving her cancer.  He said that The Good Romney poisoned the wells of non-Mormons and killed their children for their rituals in their temples.  He demanded that The Good Romney show all of his tax returns and open his temples.

The Good Romney shook his head and laughed.  "I will NOT give you any thing but a headache."  He proclaimed.  Then he went to Virginia (A state that both need to win.) and aboard the Battleship USS Wisconsin (Iowa-class), The Good Romney declared his choice for a Running Mate.

I bring to you my people a man who cares about the future of this nation.
A man who will help restore our dignity, our rights, our fiscal responsibility.
A man with Conservative values and honest ideals.
My choice for my running mate, your next Vice President:
Ryan the Bold.

The crowd roared with approval.  The choice was bold.  The choice was the right one.  For The Good Romney had brought the debate back to the economy.  The Good Romney has given the nation a true choice.  Freedom or Slavery.

Upon the platform Ryan the Bold appeared and the crowd burst into a roar.  He then spoke:

I come to help restore this land.
To bring it back to civility.
To bring it back to rigorousness.
To bring it back to fiscal responsibility.
We cannot keep spending The People's Money without a thought to the future.
We cannot keep spending The People's Money without a budget to curb expenses.
We must curb our entitlement programs.

Our rights come from Nature and G-d, not Government!

This is a truth that all Americans know, even if they do not wish to acknowledge it,

The Anointed One laughed with glee.  The Good Romney chose the man they wanted him to have.  Too Conservative for the nation.  A man who He believes will destroy everything The Anointed One has created.  He will destroy Ryan the Bold.  And the attacks had begun.

The pundits who worshiped The Anointed One reminded the world of how out-of-date Ryan the Bold is.  How his ideas of government would throw their Grannies over the cliff.  How he would take food and shelter from the poor.  Of how he beats his wife and kicks puppies.

But let the truth be told.  The Anointed One has no record to run on.  The economy of the land is in shambles.  The price of gas is rising.  The price of food is so high that soon the whole land will be forced to either starve or take the stamps of food.  The Anointed One has been a failure.

With two weeks to his proclamation to the Leader of the Republicans, The Good Romney has changed the direction of this election.  It is a choice between Right and Wrong, Black and White, Good and Evil.

The Sobering, Cold, Hard Truth About Mainstream Republicans In Congress

First off, the recent "deal" for raising the debt ceiling in America was a travesty, in my view. Many of us conservatives in America have simply had it, we are fed up. We have had it with a Republican leadership in Congress who fakes it all along knowing that they will follow their usual course of capitulation to the most extreme Leftists in this country. We have had it with 18% of the population of this country of Marxist misfits and miscreants wagging the dog of this country. Fighting the radical Left in America is no different than fighting every other threat in the world - you meet it face to face, you stare it down and you NEVER blink.

This article at Family Security Matters does a nice job of detailing huge mistakes made by and inherent defects in the GOP leadership in the U.S. House and Senate. Here's some of the best parts of the article:

“Mainstream” Republicans are doing their best to characterize the debt-ceiling increase as a worthy “first step” down the long road to fiscal stability. Yet any investigation of its contents reveals that it is nothing of the kind. Consider that, as a result of this single federal action, in the next sixteen months America’s financial liability will be increased by an amount equivalent to the entire national debt accumulated from the year that the Constitution was ratified until 1986.

But instead of owning up to this fiasco that they allowed, Republicans are insulting the nation with the latest, desperate RINO talking points. In no way should America be consoled by the excuse that they “did the best they could” under the circumstances, since they “only control one third of the government.” As the majority party in the House of Representatives, they are constitutionally mandated to be in 100% control of the nation’s purse strings. This should be firewall enough to prevent the sort of meltdown suffered by fiscally irresponsible European socialist states, and which increasingly looks to be this nations’ future.

In an attempt to appear principled and resolved, Mitch McConnell contended as recently as July 12 that “As long as this president is in the Oval Office, a real solution is attainable.” Yet in light of the realities of the debt limit increase subsequently supported by himself and Speaker Boehner, abetted by their insipid and purely symbolic plans to reduce spending… someday, it is obvious that no fix is possible as long as the current Republican “leadership” or their accommodating minions remain in the Congress. America’s next opportunity to implement a real solution will be in the upcoming Republican Congressional and Senate Primaries.

While these politicians make their rounds on the television news shows, while they continue to appear at the usual Washington, D.C. affairs ... they best be aware that the base is shifting, it is shifting from one foot to the other - we are jittery, we are pissed and we are ready to make some serious moves.

It is, afterall, time. Time, once again, to remind the bureaucrats and politicians who runs this Land - who pays the bills and who controls the government. It's my contention that the 2012 elections will serve final notice that this debacle of the debt ceiling may very well have been the final straw.

GOP Leadership Never Took Deficit Reduction Seriously


Now that the debt ceiling deal passed in Congress and was quickly signed by Barack Obama, key players from both major parties will no doubt want immediately to change the subject. In an inconvenient epilogue to all of the demagoguery from the left and empty promises from the right, even a cursory examination of the actual measure that was spawned will reveal it to be nothing more than “business as usual” from Washington.

Nevertheless, the nation is being treated to hysterical caterwauling from liberals that as a result of Republican callousness towards the dependent class, “draconian cuts” are impending. With only a little scratching below the veneer of this bill, it quickly becomes apparent that those “cuts” are projected for several years down the road, when the Congress will be under no obligation to honor the symbolic and meager restraints placed upon it. Who would honestly contend that the current Congress ponders, for even a second, the ludicrous notion of abiding by caps imposed on it in a 2002 budget measure? In grim contrast, the fiscal feeding frenzy is inevitable and will of course commence immediately.

With the outcome of this controversy now settled as it is, the question needs to be asked, “Why did the GOP even bother to contest the debt hike in the first place? If Obama ultimately got the money he wanted, and the only “limits” on the ensuing spending binge are slated to occur well after he leaves office, why should America have been forced to endure the charade of Republican adversity to the current situation?

Upon signing the debt-ceiling increase into law, Obama chastised recalcitrant Republicans by asserting that America did not need “this manufactured crisis.” And in a profoundly sad sense, he was right. If the end result was always going to be that he got his way, the matter should have been handed quietly over to him by willing accomplices “on the right” weeks ago, with no pretense of fighting his long-term agenda of endless bureaucratic bloat. And in truth both Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R.-KY) and House Speaker John Boehner (R.-OH) have over time revealed that they would rather have done it that way.

Of course they are both claiming credit for incorporating last minute modifications that ostensibly improved the measure, in order to garner the cooperation of conservatives in the House and Senate who otherwise would not have signed on. Yet the mere fact that the initial monstrosity was wholly unacceptable and had to be improved under duress, but nonetheless had their support in each circumstance, proves that their goal was to get it off their backs at the earliest possible opportunity.

The contorted posturing and compromising by both Boehner and McConnell cannot be construed as anything other than their best effort to thread the needle between giving the Democrats whatever they wanted (This, we are told, is just how they do things in Washington) and feigning enough resistance to convince those on the right that they had indeed attempted to achieve the best possible deal. Somewhere in the distant past, any real recognition of the dire financial straits facing the nation, and the need to take tangible action to avoid such a fate, was completely abandoned. America now continues careening towards fiscal catastrophe, and it can take little encouragement from the insipid assurances that, some time well past the middle of the decade, Congress will suddenly start making those tough choices that it refuses to make at present.

It is true that they have neither the Senate majority nor the White House. But sadly, rather than rising to the occasion and fulfilling their role as the “worthy opposition party,” Republicans under the current leadership have degenerated into the “compliance party.”

Not surprisingly, while the bond ratings services have for the moment maintained the United States in the “AAA” category, they concurrently intone that this status faces a real threat of being downgraded. In other words, the immediate “crisis” has been diverted, but since no concrete action is being implemented or even proposed to avert inevitable further accumulations of insurmountable debt, the long-term prospects for a stable financial assessment of the nation are bleak.

Aside from giving yet another “transfusion” of borrowed capital to keep Obama from owning up to his criminally irresponsible actions of the past two and a half years, no substantive effort was made to abate the hemorrhaging of America’s financial resources. Thus, the ultimate outcome of this scenario is not in question. Only the timetable remains to be determined.

The Emperior Has No Clothing!

His Excellency, The Most High, Master of the Nation, President Barack Hussein Obama (May He Reign Forever) spoke to the peons of the population.  None of this problem is MY fault, the Great One exclaimed.

"I blame Bush! He spent $1 Trillion in 8 years. And there was the Recession. We had to spend, spend, spend to Save the Nation. It is the fault of the Republicans. Those nasty TEA Partiers. It is the fault of everyone else. I am your King. Nothing is MY fault. It never is.

We need to make the rich give up their money. The Corporate CEOs with private jets need to give all their money to ME. The Billionaires and Millionaires have too much money, I need it more.  I need much more.

Although I am Omnipotent, I need your help.  If I don't get the debt ceiling raised, the world will come to an end.  The elderly will be forced to eat cat food.   The military will not be paid.  Veterans will starve while being thrown on the street. All this because the evil Republicans with their allies the rich fat cats, will not do as I order them to.

Every President for many years has gotten what I demand.  The Great Reagan spoke thus:

"Would you rather reduce deficits and interest rates by raising revenue from those who are not now paying their fair share, or would you rather accept larger budget deficits, higher interest rates, and higher unemployment? And I think I know your answer."

And yet these evil men will thwart MY plans, MY desires, what I want.  It is very simple.  Without this ceiling raise, we will DEFAULT on our debt.  The nation will be destroyed.  It will not be MY fault!  We have only a week.  I need you to call Congress and demand that they raise the ceiling.  Raise it enough so that We don't have to do this until after November 2012 (So I don't have to bring this up again until I am reelected!). Only you, the Middle Class, the Poor need to do this.  Together We can defeat the rich, the ignorant, the Republicans.

Thus the Anointed One spoke to the people.  And they would have listened to Him but for the voice of the House Speaker, Boehner of Tears.  He spoke quietly, passionately, and with a firm voice.  His words bespoke of the truth and the people listened:

"I am not a fat cat, I was just a small business owner before I came to Congress.  I am one of you, the Middle Class, the people who find all of this too complicated to understand.  But it isn't too complicated.  It is as easy as your own home budget.

The President wants us to raise the debt ceiling for the next 18 months. This is so He will not have to face this problem during an election. The President swears that if we don't raise the ceiling the nation will end. We will default on our debts, the old will starve, the military will not be paid and veterans will be homeless. This is a lie. None of this will happen. What will happen is that for the first time the nation will have to live within our means. We will have to cut spending. We will have to trim the fat.

The President refuses to cut the fat, the port, the earmarks. We had a deal, but the President threatened to veto it. We have another deal, but it forces the President to cut spending, and will only raise the debt ceiling for 6 months.

The President is acting childish. He is carrying on a temper tantrum: "Do it my way or face the consequences!" The President can quote Ronald Reagan, but he will never be Ronald Reagan. Nor does he understand what Reagan stood for.

We will call his bluff. The President will be taught the lesson of the Constitutionality of this issue. He will be denied. He believes to be our King. But he forgets. We are Americans! WE HAVE AND WILL HAVE NO KINGS!!!!

And with that, the American people awoke to the truth of the argument.  The did call the Congress telling them to stand firm, don't give in to Obama's demands.  If we can stop him now, he will be destroyed. And they remembered this:

Yes President Obama has become a Tyrant.  It is time to take down the tyrant.  Call your Congressman or woman.  E-mail him or her.  Let them remember what happened in 2010.  You put them into Congress and you can take them out.  Time is running out. the nation and our freedoms are at risk.  It is time to stop the Tax and Spend culture of the Presidents and Democrats now.

They all like to do their work in the dead of night.

Last night the House of Representatives passed Heathcare reform by a vote of 220-215.

In a victory for President Barack Obama, the Democratic-controlled House narrowly passed landmark health care legislation Saturday night to expand coverage to tens of millions who lack it and place tough new restrictions on the insurance industry. Republican opposition was nearly unanimous.

The 220-215 vote cleared the way for the Senate to begin a long-delayed debate on the issue that has come to overshadow all others in Congress.

A triumphant Speaker Nancy Pelosi likened the legislation to the passage of Social Security in 1935 and Medicare 30 years later -- and Obama issued a statement saying, "I look forward to signing it into law by the end of the year."

"It provides coverage for 96 percent of Americans. It offers everyone, regardless of health or income, the peace of mind that comes from knowing they will have access to affordable health care when they need it," said Rep. John Dingell, the 83-year-old Michigan lawmaker who has introduced national health insurance in every Congress since succeeding his father in 1955.

In the run-up to a final vote, conservatives from the two political parties joined forces to impose tough new restrictions on abortion coverage in insurance policies to be sold to many individuals and small groups. They prevailed on a roll call of 240-194.

Ironically, that only solidified support for the legislation, clearing the way for conservative Democrats to vote for it.

The legislation would require most Americans to carry insurance and provide federal subsidies to those who otherwise could not afford it. Large companies would have to offer coverage to their employees. Both consumers and companies would be slapped with penalties if they defied the government's mandates.

Insurance industry practices such as denying coverage on the basis of pre-existing medical conditions would be banned, and insurers would no longer be able to charge higher premiums on the basis of gender or medical history. In a further slap, the industry would lose its exemption from federal antitrust restrictions on price fixing and market allocation.

At its core, the measure would create a federally regulated marketplace where consumers could shop for coverage. In the bill's most controversial provision, the government would sell insurance, although the Congressional Budget Office forecasts that premiums for it would be more expensive than for policies sold by private firms.

This bill is not reform, it is socialized medicine that will bring to the United States the same horror that Great Britain and Canada now have. It will destroy the private option, giving every citizen not the best healthcare in the world, but the worse health care in the world.

But that doesn't concern the Congress, they have exempted themselves, government employees, and the unions from this bill. But for the rest of us, either we get insurance, or we face a fine of $250,000 and/or 5 years in prison.

Too bad if you cannot afford insurance, you have to take the government option. You know, the one that won't allow you to join for 6 months if you have a pre-existing condition. Insists on having you go before a Death Panel to get benefits. And without any guarantees that you get to keep your own doctor.

This bill will cost Billions of Dollars, taxes that take effect immediately, but the bill's health care plan does not go into effect until 2013.

Too bad for all those people who are being denied Health Care for pre-existing conditions right now. They will have to wait until this bill goes into effect, so either they die, pay for health care out of their pocket, or wait (if they can). In the meantime we all will be taxed for services not yet given.

Any bets that Congress spends that money right away on frivolous pork projects?
