What's This World's Biggest Mystery?

What is This World's Biggest Mystery?

a)  What happened to Malaysian Airlines flight # 370?

b)  How Al Franken captured 100% of the convicted felon vote in Minnesota's U.S. Senate election in 2008?

More "Love" from Al Franken

to me
Fucku --

Al noticed I haven’t been including PS’s in my fundraising emails.

- Matt

Matt Burgess
Campaign Manager
Franken for Senate

P.S. This is a problem because as you know, Al believes very strongly in the “PS ask.” I’ve got a lot of ground to make up to show my dedication to the “PS ask.” So here goes - click here to give $5 right now to help us reach our goal before the fast-approaching FEC deadline.

P.P.S.: Al’s in for a real fight next year. This is our last chance to make a huge -- and I mean huge -- impression before 2013 comes to a close. Long story short: We need to hit this goal. Can you pitch in $5 or more?

P.P.P.S.: Next year we’re going to have to buy things, a lot of things, to run the kind of campaign we need to help Al win. Many things we can find on Craigslist (our office furniture is, shall we say, vintage), but there are a lot of things we can’t get on the cheap/free -- like phone lines and office supplies. Food for volunteers and gas for transporting them all over the state. You can help us buy the things we need.

Al Franken - U.S. Senator, Minnesota

Dear Fucku,

Sometimes, clicking your mouse is a bad idea -- unless you really believe that animated dancing gerbil is going to give you a great deal on a reverse mortgage.

But sometimes you can accomplish an awful lot with a single click. Like, for instance, saving our democracy.

You made a big difference when you signed my petition to overturn Citizens United. And you can make an even bigger difference with one more click -- by sharing that petition with your friends and family.

Click here to share the petition on Facebook.

Click here to share it on Twitter.

It doesn’t take much to win these fights -- but it does take teamwork. And in the time it took you to read this email, you can do your part and make our team a little bigger. You have friends and family who care about our democracy just as much as you do. And by asking them to click on a link and join our movement to overturn Citizens United, you can include them in a citizens’ movement that will make our country a better place.

Hey, it beats clicking on those dancing gerbil ads.

Click here to share on Facebook.

Click here to share on Twitter.

Thanks,

Al

P.S.: One more thing you can do with a single click: Make a contribution to help us grow our movement. We’ll use your gift to reach people who might not otherwise hear about our effort.

------

Now, in the interests of full disclosure, I will reveal here that I went to the site to "sign" Al Franken's petition and instead of using my real name or "Holger Awakens" I used the following:

First nameFuckU          Last Name Al

An Open Letter To Newly Named Senator Al Franken

Mr. Franken (you aren't Senator until you are sworn in):

I have two questions for you, concerning your upcoming work in the United States Senate. The first question pertains to your priorities in the U.S. Senate. In your campaign for the Senate, you ran against then President George W. Bush and his policies. So the first question is this:

Since Barack Hussein Obama is now President of the United States, what will you actually do in the Senate, or are you going to devote your six year term to seeing that President George W. Bush is brought up on criminal charges?

My second question pertains to both the Iraq War and the War in Afghanistan. In your campaign in Minnesota, your first hard hitting political advertisement on television featured the elderly parents of a northern Minnesota soldier who was killed in action in Iraq. Your advertisement had those grieving parents blaming Senator Coleman, personally, for their son's death. So, my second question is this:

Mr. Franken, since your advertisement showcased a family blaming the death of their son in the Iraq War on Senator Norm Coleman, are you going to, on your first day in the Senate, call for an immediate withdrawl of U.S. troops from the War in Afghanistan so that in six years from now, your Republican opponent won't run an advertisement blaming you for the death of their son in Afghanistan?

I'll look forward to your response, Mr. Franken. You can just put it into the comments section here for all to see.
Signed,

Holger

Well, well, well....Guess Who Funded Al Franken's Recount Efforts?

The list of contributors for Al Franken's portion of the recount process in Minnesota has been made public and what made me want to dig into it was the fact that there were a few names on the list that were a bit more "notable" than others. You can view the entire list of all donators to Franken's recount efforts here. Let's look at a few of those ordinary citizens who decided, in these tough time, to dig deep to help Al Franken the comedian become a Senator:

Name ,Occupation, Location, Amount:

American Federation of Teachers C.O.P.E Washington, D.C. $5,000

American Postal Workers Union - Committ Washington, D.C. $5,000

Kenneth Cole Fashion Designer New York, NY $5,000

So, how's THAT for a grassroots movement of support?!! hahahaha

If you go to the full list, one thing you might want to check out - look at the number of contributors who list "Chicago, IL" as their location....hmmmm....The Machine?

Operation Helmet Founder Humiliates Supporters By Campaigning For A Leftist

The Al Franken campaign for Senate in Minnesota is running advertisements that feature Dr. Bob Meaders who is the founder of "Operation Helmet." I'm not going to get into the great work that Operation Helmet has done, you can read that all you want at their website, here. What I want to focus on here is how this organization has defied its own creed and mission statement, how it has caved to the Left in this country by Dr. Meaders appearing in an ad where he claims to be a Republican but attests to Al Franken's patriotism.

First off, I want to show you exactly how Operation Helmet views itself in the realm of community service:

We are a 100% volunteer, non-partisan, charitable organization headquartered in Montgomery, Texas (near Houston) with volunteer operations around the country. 99.96% of all contributions are used to send upgrade kits to our troops! [*] We have less than one-half of one percent overhead which is used to for very limited expenses related to sending thanks to donors - it is a labor of love. We have no salaries or payroll.

Get that? When you say "non-partisan" does that mean you allow your leader to appear in an advertisement supporting a Leftist candidate for Senate? Do all of the people that have contributed their hard-earned dollars to support the efforts of Operation Helmet to help U.S. troops in Iraq have no say as to how the leader of this organization presents himself in the political arena? I say, SHAME ON YOU DR. MEADERS. You have accepted monetary contributions from conservatives and patriots across this land under the premise that your organization is "non-partisan" and yet you are actively campaigning for a Democrat candidate for Senate, Al Franken, who has worked diligently for an immediate surrender by American troops in Iraq. You, Dr. Meaders, are actively sabotaging a campaign by Senator Norm Coleman who has stood by the troops 100%.

I would be remiss if I did not detail all of the "patriotic" actions and statements by Al Franken. Remember, Al Franken is the man that Dr. Meaders and Operation Helmet by default said this about: " I know Al Franken is a patriot. I’m proud to call him my friend, and a friend of the troops, and of America."

Here's the litany of Al Franken's support of American troops in Iraq:

"And we find ourselves in a situation where many, many smart people believe that our very presence there makes things worse. I don‘t—and I think it‘s very hard to trust this administration in anything they say about the war. " http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10380455/

"I am a talk show host. And I feel like some responsibility on talking about what we should and shouldn‘t be doing in Iraq, and I literally don‘t know. I mean, I think there are—I think we may be in a no-win position, and have been put there. "
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10380455/

"I say it’s time to leave Iraq."
http://www.alfranken.com/pages/iraq

"The best way to convince the Iraqi government that we’re leaving is to actually start leaving. I support immediately beginning the process of bringing our troops home."
http://www.alfranken.com/pages/iraq

""We should also be re-deploying our troops out of the civil war that has engulfed Baghdad."
http://usliberals.about.com/od/senatecandidatesin2008/p/AlFranken.htm

At the same time, we should be convening a regional conference including Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Turkey, and Egypt to come up with a long-term plan for Iraq and ensure that a regional conflict does not arise."
http://usliberals.about.com/od/senatecandidatesin2008/p/AlFranken.htm
The fact of the matter is this. Al Franken initially supported the Iraq War. When the going got tough, Al Franken did a "Harry Reid" and turned chicken. While American troops were making progress in Iraq, Franken decided to flip flop from supporting the Iraq War efforts to formulating his conspiracy plans of how we got into the war.

This "patriot" that Dr. Meaders is endorsing for U.S. Senate decided to cut and run when our soldiers, Marines, sailors and airmen ran up against al Qaeda and while Franken decided he was better off trying to convict President Bush of deception, he was very quick to believe the Leftists lie that the Iraq War was a "civil war."

We don't need "patriots" like Al Franken in the Senate, Dr. Meaders and you should not have used your name, your personal appearance in this political advertisement to further the election of a surrenderist. You owe an apology to the contributors to Operation Helmet.
