Israel Buries Her Dead From the Bulgarian Terror Attack

All over Israel, the victims of the Bulgarian terror attack have been buried.  The article from The Jerusalem Post gives new details on the attack that was masterminded and plotted and carried out by Hezbollah.

Now it is time.  It is time for the leadership of Hezbollah to be put in the ground.  Start with the lowest ranking leaders involved in this plot and the efforts to kill Israelis across the world and work up the ladder - the goal is to see dozens of Hezbollah leadership taken out systematically while saving Nasrallah for the very last.  The goal is for Nasrallah to sit through weeks and months of agony of watching all of his fellows being taken out....let Nasrallah get up each morning knowing this just might be his day to enter the gates of Hell.

Israelis bury 5 victims of Bulgaria attack

JERUSALEM (AP) — Devastated mourners grasped at dirt atop fresh graves and screamed in agony Friday as they buried the five Israeli victims of a bombing in Bulgaria — an attack that Israel has blamed on Iran and its proxy group Hezbollah.

Two days after the deadly blast in a popular vacation spot, investigators in Bulgaria and in several other countries were still struggling to confirm the attacker's identity.

Bulgarian prosecutors said the attacker had short hair, not the long hair seen in the security video footage captured of him at the airport. A witness said he appeared to be wearing a wig.

The victims' coffins were received early Friday in a military ceremony at Israel's international airport. Seventeen Israelis remain in hospitals.

Childhood friends Itzik Kolengi, 28, and Amir Menashe, 27, were buried in the central Israeli town of Petah Tikva.

Kolengi's wife, Gilat, was wounded in the attack and remains hospitalized. The couple has an infant daughter.

"I promise you that the family and I will watch forever over your wife, Gilat, and your amazing daughter, Noya, who looks exactly like you, and we'll raise her just as you would have wanted," Kolengi's brother David said during his eulogy.

Menashe's wife, who was also wounded in the attack, attended the funeral in a wheelchair. They too have an infant son.

Nearby, in Rishon Lezion, hundreds of mourners joined the family of Cochava Shriki, a 42-year-old woman who had recently become pregnant after years of fertility treatments.

In the northern Israeli town of Acre, Maor Harush, 26, and his close friend Elior Price, 24, were laid to rest. A third friend remains hospitalized in serious condition.

Israeli and American officials have blamed the Iran-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah for Wednesday's bombing, which killed five vacationing Israelis, along with a Bulgarian bus driver and the attacker, in the Black Sea resort town of Burgas.

In TV interviews Friday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said he was certain who carried it out.

"Hezbollah is behind the attack, it was part of a series of attacks," he told Israel's Channel 2 TV. "We know that Iran is behind it all. What we don't know is who the actual man is."

Iran denied responsibility for the attack, which threatened to further escalate a shadow war between the two countries over allegations that Tehran is trying to build nuclear weapons. Iran says its atomic program is for peaceful purposes only.

Security camera footage from before the attack showed the suspected bomber wandering in and out of the terminal, wearing a baseball cap over long hair, a T-shirt and plaid shorts, with a bulky backpack.

Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov told reporters the bomb was in the backpack and detonated in the luggage compartment of the bus. The bomber was believed to have been about 36 years old and had been in the country between four to seven days, he said.

He later said in an interview with state TV that the blast was caused by 3 kilograms (6.6 pounds) of TNT powder.

Bulgarian prosecutors said the man tried to rent a car in the days before the bombing but was turned down because his ID appeared suspicious. Authorities have examined his fingerprints, his DNA and his fake Michigan driver's license.

They also said the man actually had short hair. It was not clear if he was wearing a wig, or if he had a haircut after the airport footage was taken.

Afrodita Petrova, the owner of the car rental company, told Bulgarian National TV that the suspect had short dark hair when visiting the office. She said he was the same person from the video camera footage and appeared to be wearing a wig.

"He spoke English with an Arab accent," she said.

Tsvetanov said the investigation had ruled out that the bomber was a Bulgarian citizen, but did not say how authorities know that. He said the investigation had also ruled out that the bomber was Mehdi Ghezali, a Swedish citizen and former Guantanamo detainee whom authorities had previously fingered as the bomber.

"Now we are focused on finding out the identity of the suicide bomber and his possible whereabouts ahead of the blast," Tsvetanov said.

Police and prosecutors refused to give any more information, saying it would compromise the ongoing investigation.

Israel has attributed a series of attacks on its citizens around the world in recent months to Iran and its proxies.

The Islamic militant group has not commented on the attack.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast called the accusation "baseless."

The U.S. intelligence community has a "high degree of confidence that this was carried out by Hezbollah," presumably by a cell located in Bulgaria, said an official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters. "This was researched and target was prepped," the official said, hallmarks of the discipline and expertise of the group.

However, Pentagon press secretary George Little said Friday the U.S. government has not established with certainty who was behind the attack.

"The attack does bear some of the hallmarks of Hezbollah, but we are not in a position to make any final determination," Little said. He declined to say what aspect of the attack resembled the methods or other features of Hezbollah.

Israel has officially issued a complaint with the U.N. Security Council, accusing Iran of responsibility for the attack. Israeli representative Haim Waxman wrote the Security Council president that the attack in Bulgaria was part of an international terrorist campaign against Israelis and Jews worldwide, led by Iran and Hezbollah.

"Poor" and "Down trodden" Hezbollah Terror Leader Worth....(wait for it)....$250 Million

Just the other night I was in a Blog Talk Radio chat room and had a spirited debate with a Left-inclined individual who made the claim that all islamic terrorists were in that position because they came out of poverty - he insisted that if all of these peoples in all of these Muslim countries were "better off", there would be NO islamic terror.

Well, a story is out that reveals American intelligence that Hezbollah's leader in Lebanon, namely Hassan Nasrallah, is worth in excess of $250 million - now, I would say that if islamic terror is directly linked to the poverty of an individual, that Nasrallah would have given up his vocation long ago.

From the story at Ynet News:

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah is worth some $250 million, a Kuwaiti newspaper reported recently, quoting American intelligence officials.

According to the report, the fortune of Nasrallah's deputy, Sheikh Naim Qassem, and other senior organization members amounts to as much as $2 billion.

But here's the fun part - read how Nasrallah and the other Hezbollahboys actually get their money and play around with storing it:

The anonymous intelligence sources believe the funds have been deposited in hundreds of bank accounts across the world, including in Europe, using fabricated or fake names.

Two Western sources are quoted as saying that the Hezbollah leaders from time to time channel millions of dollars from their bank accounts or their wives' bank accounts to senior members of the Revolutionary Guards in Iran, who are responsible for transferring money to the Shiite organization from the office of Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to the report, Iranian parliament members are aware of this corruption, are unhappy with it but are avoiding discussing it.

Straw companies

A British security source who worked at the embassies in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon in the 1990s is quoted as saying that the West has figured out Hezbollah's money laundering method.

According to the source, the Shiite organization's common method is setting up straw companies in Arab or African countries, which sell cars or large amounts of goods.

The organizations also operate small cells of six to 10 people who specialize in stealing cellular phones, personal computers or credit cards, and open fake bank accounts using the victims' details.

According to the report, the Hezbollah members also specialize in stealing passports, which are used by the organization operatives to travel around the world for commerce purposes, among others.

See? Now aren't you just taken back by the horrid conditions of these poor wittle jihadis suffering under the incredible occupation of the nasty Zionists? hahaha

Meanwhile, America and other dhimmified Western countries continue to pour money into these Middle Eastern countries with the lion's share going to these terror groups. And now we know just why these guys are always laughing....it's cuz they are laughing all the way to the BANK.

By setting up companies, mainly in Eastern European countries and in Soviet republics in central Asia, Hezbollah provides all the financial needs of the organization members in Lebanon.
According to a recent report among many on the organization's financial situation, senior Iranian officials are furious over an internal report pointing to corruption among Hezbollah's highest ranks.

Another report says the Iranians were "amazed" to learn of the flamboyant life led by the organization members, mainly during their visits abroad.

Egypt Has a New Fan...Hezbollah's Madman Nasrallah

Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, decided to brave it out today and send a video message out from his fortified bunker in Lebanon where he hides like a little scaredy cat and in his message of support for the Palestinian scum, he let it slip a little bit about a marked turnabout in his position regarding Egypt.

This is what he said...from the report at The Jerusalem Post:

The Hezbollah leader called on the Islamic world to "rise up and support the Palestinian people," praising what he referred to as a "new phase in Egypt."

“Had Hosni Mubarak still been in power, the official Egyptian stand would have reprimanded the Palestinians for the Eilat attacks,” Nasrallah said, referencing last week's terror attacks in which eight Israelis were killed.

“The Egyptian position is gradually shifting towards the better,” he said.

So there we have it. America's President and America's mainstream media all fall on the same side as lunatic terrorist leader, Hassan Nasrallah. While Barack Hussein Obama warmly embraces the "new" Egypt...so does one of the biggest criminals in the world. Great company you keep there, Mr. Obama.

'Not a grain of Palestinian sand should be conceded'

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on Friday spoke out against concessions to Israel, saying not "one grain of sand" should be given up "at Palestine's expense."

Nasrallah was speaking via video link to a mass rally organized by Hezbollah at Maroun al-Ras on the Lebanon-Israel border. The rally was held in commemoration of Quds (Jerusaelm) Day, an annual show of support for the Palestinian cause.

“The Palestinians have the right to negotiate over the 1967 borders,” Nasrallah was quoted by Naharnet as saying, “but talks should not take place at the expense of the rest of Palestine,” he added.

“The problems in Palestine are the result of the occupation and we should therefore tackle that cause just as Lebanon handled Israel’s occupation of the South,” he stated.

Will the Obama Administration Buy Into the "Throw Israel Under the Bus" Pitch?

From all sides, Israel is being set up for a major fall....of this I am convinced. And it is going to be different this time. Different from all of the times before because of one major difference...the fact that the United States will NOT be there to stand with Israel against her enemies.

Let me ask you a simple question and it's up to you to answer it immediately...don't hesitate, just answer it: If Israel is attacked, severely attacked, by a coordinated effort of Iran, Hezbollah, Syria and Egypt, will Barack Hussein Obama authorize U.S. military defense of Israel?

See? I'm guessing you hesitated. Think about that for a minute - before this man became President of the United States of America, would you have hesitated one second in answering that question? Of course not.

Well, this article at Family Security Matters deals with the latest scenario in the Middle East where Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, is trying to offer up the U.S. and out for all of its past transgressions against Muslims in the Middle East...simply by the U.S. throwing Israel under the bus and walking away from that alliance.

From the article:

"In Palestine, we have people being killed, who are being subject to bombings, whose houses are being destroyed, whose farms are being destroyed, ... 11,000 detainees. In Jerusalem-Al Quds, the Islamic and Christian sancitities are under attack. Despite this, the Americans defend the killer, they defend the criminal, they defend the attacker, the aggressor, they defend those who are bombing the civilian houses in Gaza from the air, bombing [the farms] in Gaza.

As long as the American policy toward Palestine is this way, continues, any American talk about a credible approach towards defending the rights of the people of Egypt, of Libya or Yemen Bahrain or anywhere else is a lie. Any such talk is a lie.

You see, Hezbollah's Nasrallah is a clever man. He knows that Barack Hussein Obama is floundering in trying to handle the whole powderkeg that has erupted across northern Africa and the Middle East and in time, Obama will be seeking support from all over for his errors in judgement. Nasrallah is basically saying to Obama that if he denies the alliance with Israel, then Obama's efforts will be supported and lauded.

Of course, since Barack Hussein Obama is clearly the most intelligent President the United States has ever had (right? hahaha), he would never fall for the snake oil pitch from some terrorist leader in Lebanon. Ummm.....he wouldn't, would he?

Hezbollah Snakeoil: Will the Obama Administration Buy It?

The US ambassador to the UN and the commander of NATO can fight over "flickers" of al Qaeda and Hezbollah among the Libyan rebels, but it's clearly indisputable that enemy Hezbollah leader Nasrallah (along with al Qaeda's Abu Yahya al-Libi and MB's Qaradawi as noted here) is firmly in their camp. Which means "our" camp. This is clear from an hour-plus address the Iranian puppet and terror-master gave earlier this month in Beirut.

But there's more to it than that.

I listened to about 20 minutes. After Nasrallah insists neither al Qaeda nor Iran (hah) nor, for that matter, the United States, have had anything to do with unrest in the Middle East, I heard his chilling iteration of the "R2P" driver I've been working through and writing about lately: Israel as the Umma's pricetag to "reconsider the US stance." (Nasrallah's phrase.) What's chilling is that this combination devil's-fool's bargain is one our Intelligentsia (many with big jobs in the Obama administration) seem all too eager to make, despite its immorality, strategic senselessness and sheer ignorance -- as though feeding the jihad beast will make it anything but more rapacious.

Like a snakeoil salesman at the fair, Nasrallah makes his pitch: No amount of US solicitude for the human rights of Muslims will be regarded as genuine until the United States abandons our best ally Israel. Does he have any takers? I can just hear Samantha Power presenting this "opposition" argument out of "humanitarian" concern at the next National Security Council meeting.

Nasrallah, meanwhile, remains quite suspicious of the Great Satan. These suspicions about American intentions are rooted in his naive notion that the United States under the Obama administration is pursuing, or even concerned with "American" interests. But his main point is this:

Nasrallah says:

Any American talk about protecting the people of our region, or respecting the legitimate rights of the people, the civil rights ... has no credibilty whatsoever because of the permanent American policy toward the Palestinian people, who are always suffering oppression. ...

If you take a look at the tape, notice the large audience of what appears to be all men, rows of mullahs but mostly "civilians," and consider the impact on the human brain of relentless, 24/7 anti-Israel propaganda, which is like air to these people. Here's a noxious Nasrallah sample:

He goes on to discuss the US's supposed ulterior motives, all related, he says, to promoting "America's Project" -- Israel -- in the Middle East. (Boy, is he out of date. It's as if all of Obama's trashing of Israel has been for naught.) Maybe the US wants to improve its image, the Hezbo-honcho says, and "guarantee suitable alternative regimes for the American Project," and ensure oil remains in "loyal, nationalistic hands." Then back he goes to his vicious trope. Doesn't matter that Obama's is a different administration:

The Arabs must always focus on Palestine. As long as this administration supports Israel -- [Israel's] destruction, its crushing of the Palestinian people and its aggressions against the people of the region -- it is lying when it speaks about anything regarding human rights in this region.

We can reconsider our stance toward the American position when we find a fundamental change in American policies toward Palestine and towards what is going [on] in Palsestine and against their people.

Only then can we reconsider the American stance.

So we must be weary of the American policies and the American game which is being played on trying to take advantage of these revolutions, trying to take advantage of the blood of its martyrs, and the attempts to falsify the real path of these popular uprisings ....

Hezbollah Leader, Nasrallah, Congratulates Hamas On Killing Innocent Israeli Men, Women and Unborn Babies This Week

You know, we sit here and see dozens upon dozens of articles on the internet being written about the peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians that began this week but nowhere in those reports from the MSM writers do you see both Hamas and Hezbollah saying that those talks are futile, that Israel needs to be destroyed.

Well, yesterday, Hezbollah's nutless leader, Hassan Nasrallah, praised his Iranian proxy terrorist brothers in Gaza, Hamas, for their attack that killed 4 Israeli citizens. This is how Nasrallah described this cowardly attack...from Haaretz:

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah praised Hamas on Friday for the West Bank shooting attacks which left four Israelis dead and two injured on two consecutive days, saying "this is the way to free Jerusalem and Palestine."

Speaking at a rally held in honor of Jerusalem day, in a neighborhood south of Beirut, Nasrallah criticized the Palestinian Authority for agreeing to direct negotiations with Israel.

"These negotiations were born to die," Nasrallah said.

"Palestine from the sea to the river is the property of the Palestinian nation, of the Arab and the Muslim, and no one has the right to relinquish that land, not even a drop of its water," Nasrallah said.

So, let me see if I have this straight - the Palestinian Authority is going into peace talks with Israel with a long list of demands of Israel but in return for Israeli concessions, nothing would be done to remove the Hezbollah and Hamas threat to Israel. Do I have that right?

Seems to me that this would be a bit like the United States signing a "no illegal immigration" pact with Canada and Americans expecting no more illegals in our country - ignoring the fact that 95% of illegals come in from Mexico.

I have determined that both Hezbollah and Hamas have very short memories - in the last Lebanon War, Hezbollah sufffered huge losses and although the Israelis had a tougher time than expected, the fact of the matter is that Hezbollah got creamed (and Nasrallah was underground for upwards of four months). And as for Hamas, Operation Cast Lead came within weeks of totally destroying that terrorist organization.

So, as a prelude to peace negotiations this time, I believe the Israelis should approach the Palestinian Authority, along with Egypt with the premise that talks will continue once Hezbollah and Hamas are destroyed - let's see if the Egyptians will join the fight and take care of wiping out Hamas in Gaza while the PA eliminates Hamas in the West Bank and then Israeli will take care of Hezbollah in Lebanon. Then, perhaps, peace can be discussed.

Hezbollah's Nasrallah doesn't give a rat's ass about the sovereignty of the Palestinian people - he's a messenger of Tehran whose only care is the destruction and removal of Israel. It's high time this clown was removed from the Earth.

By the way, if you notice from the photo above, Nasrallah made his speech yesterday on closed circuit television. LOL

Hezbollah leader praises Hamas for West Bank shooting attacks

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah praised Hamas on Friday for the West Bank shooting attacks which left four Israelis dead and two injured on two consecutive days, saying "this is the way to free Jerusalem and Palestine."

Four Israelis were killed and two injured this past week in separate shooting attacks in the West Bank. The armed wing of Hamas, the Qassam Brigades, took responsibly for both attacks and vowed that there would be more, just as U.S.-sponsored direct peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians were officially launched in Washington.

While criticizing the Palestinian Authority, Nasrallah said the Palestinian group Hamas and other opposition forces "need to hear voices of support from the Arab and Islamic world."

He continued by praising "the steadfast position of resistance forces in Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq, along with Syria and Iran," which are helping to prevent Israel and the United States from establishing a "new Middle East."

Jerusalem day was declared by the late supreme leader of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, grand ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, and is held on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan. On this day, mass rallies against Israel and in support of the Palestinians are held throughout the Arab world.

The rallies this year coincided with the first direct Middle East peace talks in almost two years, in Washington, where U.S. President Barack Obama was hosting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Suggestion to Hezbollah's Leader, Nasrallah....You Might Just Want To Go Underground...Again

Apparently predator drones being utilized by Israel's Mossad have had a couple of opportunities over the past few months to take out Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, but on the best opportunity, the strike was cancelled due to a nearby concentration of children. But hey, for me, it's just damn nice to know that the Israelis are back in the business of trying to snuff out this piece of garbage. I'm guessing that when the Nasrallah finds out about this, he'll do another of his long-term disappearance acts - he does, afterall, come from the Mookie al Sadr school of hiding like a scared little kid.

Here's the story from ANSA:

LEBANON: MOSSAD TWICE CLOSE TO KILLING NASRALLAH, PRESS

(ANSAmed) - BEIRUT, JUNE 4 - Israeli intelligence has located the leader of the Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, at least twice in the last few months, and on one occasion would have killed him if he had not been surrounded by a number of children, according to today's edition of the Kuwaiti daily, Al-Jarida. In a report from Jerusalem, the paper quotes anonymous "senior Israeli sources", who say that an Israeli drone recently located Nasrallah on the southern outskirts of Beirut, with orders given to Mossad to "act quickly to destroy him". The operation was suspended, however, due to the presence of a number of children in a nearby building, says Al-Jarida. The paper also reports that Nasrallah was located last February while travelling to Damascus to meet the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who was on a visit to Syria. "Mossad identified Nasrallah, but he was able to disguise his movements and lose his followers a few minutes after entering Syrian territory". Nasrallah has lived in secret hideouts since the 2006 war between Hezbollah guerillas and Israeli forces. Since then he has made very few public appearances. His predecessor, Abbas Mussawi, was killed on February 6 1992 in the south of Lebanon by a rocket launched from an Israeli helicopter that hit his car. His wife, his son and four bodyguards were also killed in the attack. Israel subsequently claimed responsibility for the attack. (ANSAmed).

Hezbollah's Nasrallah Threatens To Attack All Military, Civilian and Commercial Ships

After what seems like quite awhile of keeping his big, fat mouth shut, Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah today threatened that his Hezbollah forces would attack any ship in the region if Israel is involved in a war with Hezbollah.

From the report at YNET:

Lebanese rhetoric escalating: Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah said on Tuesday the Shiite group would attack all military, civilian and commercial ships heading towards Israel's Mediterranean ports in any future war.

"If you (Israel) put our coasts under siege in any future war, I say all military, civilian and commercial ships heading to Palestine's coasts on the Mediterranean will be under the fire of the Islamic resistance fighters," he said via a video-link.

Hmmm...I don't know about you but that sounds like a threat against probably 30 different countries in this world. Perhaps it's about time that Israel gets some help in shutting this bag of hot air up?

Nasrallah threatens to hit ships

"If you (Israel) put our coasts under siege in any future war, I say all military, civilian and commercial ships heading to Palestine's coasts on the Mediterranean will be under the fire of the Islamic resistance fighters," he said via a video-link.

"(As for) those ships which will go to any port on the Palestinian coast from north to the south, (I say) we are capable of hitting it and are determined to go into this..if they besiege our coasts," he said.

"When the world will witness how these ships will be destroyed in Palestine's regional water nobody will dare to go there just as they will block (others) from coming to our coasts," he told thousands of supporters.

Earlier this year Nasrallah threatened to hit Israel's Ben Gurion airport if the Jewish state struck Beirut's international airport in any future conflict.

Hezbollah marks IDF pullout
Nasrallah added that Hezbollah now had the capability to inflict as much harm on Israel as it did in Lebanon during the 2006 war.
The Hezbollah leader made the remarks during the keynote event marking the 10th anniversary of the IDF withdrawal from southern Lebanon, being held in the group's Dahiya stronghold in Beirut.

"We were the ones who forced upon the enemy the scenario, timing, and terms of its defeat and escape from Lebanon in 2000," he said, adding that the "victory" created a new equation in the region.

Nasrallah opened his speech by expressing his appreciation for Lebanese killed in clashes with Israel, mostly focusing on his predecessor Abbas Musawi and on top commander Imad Mugniyah, who were both assassinated by Israel.

In a speech last week, Hezbollah's secretary-general urged followers to impart the legacy of Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon similarly to "what Israel does with the Holocaust, whether it indeed happened or not."

Egypt Shoves It Up Hezbollah's Ass ... Sentence 26 Hezbollah Agents To Prison

The war of words between Egypt and Lebanon's terror group, Hezbollah, continues but now, the Egyptians have actually put their money where their mouth is and have sentenced 26 Hezbollah agents to prison terms in Egypt after their convictions of terror plotting.

From the article at The Guardian:

Twenty-six Arabs have been sentenced to prison in Egypt after being convicted of planning terrorist attacks on ships and tourist sites on behalf of the Lebanese Shia organisation Hezbollah, which claimed it was seeking to support Palestinian resistance to Israel in the Gaza Strip.

The emergency state security court in Cairo today handed down jail terms ranging from six months to life to 22 suspects of Palestinian, Lebanese, Egyptian and Sudanese origin. Four other men who are still on the run, including the alleged cell leader, were convicted in their absence. Sami Shihab, a Lebanese citizen who Hezbollah had previously confirmed was a member, was given a 15-year sentence.

The defendants were charged with spying on ships in the Suez canal, planning attacks on resorts popular with Israeli tourists in the Sinai peninsula and with smuggling weapons into the Gaza Strip, which is controlled by Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas. Three of the suspects were charged with digging tunnels under Egypt's border with Gaza.

Cries of "Allahu akbar" – God is great – rang out when the sentences were handed down in the heavily guarded courtroom.
There's all this talk about this sentencing being "political" ...well, hell yeah, it's political! We have to remember that Hezbollah's leader Nasrallah opened his big fat pie hole a little over a year ago and tried to embarrass Egypt with some pretty stark accusations. Well, I guess Egypt has a good memory, doofus.

At the same time, we have to realize some of the incompetence of Hezbollah. When you compare how successful al Qaeda has been in exporting terror across the globe versus Hezbollah's efforts - it's laughable. Hezbollah has tried to export their brand of terror all over the globe and this "franchise" in Egypt has worked out about as well as the others - you may remember the Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq ....well, most of them are walking the halls of Hell searching for virgins behind Doors 1, 2 and 3 compliments of the U.S. Army in Basra.

There have been rumors that Hezbollah's Nasrallah is on shaky ground in his leadership role in Lebanon - this series of convictions and sentences might just put another nail in the bastard's coffin.

Egypt sentences 26 for plotting Hezbollah terrorist campaign

Lawyers said the accused were trying to support the Palestinian resistance and that some of them had been tortured – a common occurrence in Egyptian prisons.

"The verdict proves only that the case is politically motivated," defence lawyer Abdul-Monem Abdel-Maqsud told al-Jazeera TV. "It only serves the Zionist entity which has welcomed the trial as it diverts attention away from calls to try their Gaza war criminals."

The controversial case illuminated one of the Middle East's great divides: between US-backed Egypt, with its peace treaty with Israel – and Hezbollah, which is supported by Syria and Iran. Hezbollah has sought to play it down since the trial began last summer but maintains that its only interest was backing Palestinian resistance to the Jewish state.

Judge Adel Abdel-Salam Gomaa said investigations showed the group had intended "to strike Egypt's economy, destroy the bonds between its people and create chaos and instability." The accused denied the charges but prosecutors produced video footage showing explosives in premises they had used.

No appeal against the sentences is possible but there is already speculation in Cairo about possible presidential pardons as the Egyptian leader, Hosni Mubarak, seeks to improve his long-strained relations with his Syrian counterpart, Bashar al-Assad.

Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah's secretary-general, described the charges as revenge for the organisation's denunciation of Egypt's support for the Israeli blockade of Gaza. In December 2008, as Israel carried out its offensive in the Gaza Strip, Nasrallah accused Mubarak of "taking part in the crime" of Israel's onslaught an called for the overthrow of his regime.

Hezbollah's Nasrallah: "There has never been a country as barbaric as they are in the U.S.A."

Hezbollah's grand poobah of bald-faced lies, Hassan Nasrallah, recently gave a speech that ignited the Hezbollah crowd into repeated chants of "Death to America"... and in the same speech, this clown made one of his boldest taunts against Israel.

Read the excerpts here from his speech from MEMRI Blog and explain to me why this guy is not on the top of a list of terrorist leaders scheduled for assassination.

Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on Al-Manar TV: The U.S. Is a Beast; One Bite by Our Nation and Israel Is Gone; Crowd Replies - "Death to America"

"There has Never been a Country … as Barbaric as They are in the USA"

Hassan Nasrallah: "They tell us that America is a civilized country. Blessed be Imam Khomeini for calling it "the Great Satan." Throughout the history of the human race, there has never been a country, a leadership, or an elite as barbaric as they are in the USA. You could not find an elite as hostile to the human race as the elite of the USA."

Crowds: "Death to America.

"Death to America.

"Death to America.

"Death to America."

"Hiroshima and Nagasaki … was Just a Walk in the Park Compared to Where the U.S. Administration is Taking the World"

Hassan Nasrallah: "They don't kill people one by one. They kill them wholesale. Forget about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This was just a walk in the park compared to where the U.S. administration is taking the world. The main obstacle preventing the international community from reaching an agreement about climate change is the U.S. administration and its policies. You should follow this, because I don't want to spend all my time on this. You should follow all the details, because this is about the future of the human race on this planet. But the Americans – they know how to wear their neckties properly, and know how to speak in diplomatic language, but there is a beast lurking behind their neckties and diplomatic language. This is the truth."

[...]

"The Armies are Ready and the Peoples are Ready"

Hassan Nasrallah: "The wars that the U.S. is waging in the region and the world – are they really in order to save the peoples and serve their interests? They say: We have come to save the Afghan people, so we are killing it. This is salvation American-style. They kill. They slaughter. They say: We want to save the Iraqi people, so we are slaughtering it. Your predecessor [Saddam] was also a slaughterer, so what is the difference? They want to save... Are these wars really meant to save anyone? Are these wars waged in order to spread democracy? Are these wars waged in order to instate justice and liberate mankind? That's nonsense, and reality proves it. All these wars are for the sake of the oil, of the gas... Once I had a TV interview, and I brought a list.

[...]

"They dismantled their armies and military bases from all over the world, and brought them here. Why? In order to save us from dictatorial regimes? The dictatorial regimes are still there, and they are their allies. For the sake of freedom of speech? No. In order to take over our resources and our wealth.

[...]

"When it comes to an all-out war on the level of the nation – I am telling you that the armies are ready and the peoples are ready. The armies are ready, and the peoples are ready. What is this Israel, in the heart of the Arab and Islamic nation? Once there is a will among the elites – because the nation has the will for that... Israel does not amount to more than a mouthful. One bite and it's gone. But the problem lies in the will of the elites in this nation."

Twelve Acquitted Of Plotting To Assassinate Hezbollah's Nasrallah

Twelve individuals in Lebanon were acquitted of charges by a Lebanese tribunal that they had planned and plotted to assassinate the head of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah. The plot supposedly was concocted back in 2006 before the Lebanon War with Israel broke out.

Here's some of the details of the acquittal from AFP:

Lebanon's military tribunal has cleared 12 people of plotting to assassinate Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in 2006, a judicial official said on Tuesday.
The decision, issued on Thursday, said only that there was a "lack of sufficient evidence" against the suspects.
Despite acquittal on the conspiracy charge, eight defendants were sentenced to three to five years in prison for "forming a group with the intent to commit crimes against people" as well as the "unauthorized possession of weapons".
A ninth person was cleared of both these charges and the remaining three were released after having been deemed to have served unspecified sentences on the same charges.

Here's how the plot was originally reported:

In April 2006, about three months before the devastating war between Israel and Hezbollah, the Lebanese daily As Safir reported that the group plotted to assassinate Nasrallah on his way to a meeting of the Lebanese national dialogue devoted to resolving political tensions in the country.
According to the paper, the group had attempted to track the "movements of Sheikh Nasrallah and developed a comprehensive plan to assassinate him" by hitting his convoy with anti-tank rockets.

I don't know about you but I find myself salivating after reading about that plot to kill this piece of shit, Nasrallah. There are only three jihadist leaders that I would like to see dead BEFORE Nasrallah and those, in order, are bin Laden, al Zawahiri and Ahmadinejad. Nasrallah has been reported to be on a bit of shaky ground lately internally with Hezbollah and also with Syria but in the end, he still is much of the glue that holds the Hezbollah misfits together.

I know the Israelis would take out Nasrallah at the earliest prime opportunity but it would be nearly as sweet to see some of his countrymen blow his ass to bits. Either way, the world wins when this slime breathes his last.

Lebanese President Celebrates The Return Of a Baby Killer

Lebanon just removed itself from the world stage as an independent nation and has aligned itself now as a terrorist state. It's this writer's opinion, that as of July 16, 2008 the nation of Lebanon is hereby stripped of membership in the United Nations, has violated each and every peace agreement it has ever signed and is hereby disqualified from any international aid. It's my further contention that every nation that has an embassy in Beirut, call home their representatives and close their embassies. Furthermore, all international flight routes into Lebanon will now be cancelled and every single financial loan afforded to the government of Lebanon is now come due, immediately.

Why this stance by me? Simple. This is how newly elected President of Lebanon Michel Suleiman welcomed home the convicted baby killer, Samir Kantar:

"Your return is a new victory and the future with you will only be a shinning march in which we achieve the sovereignty of our land and the freedom of people," President Michel Suleiman said in his address. "I congratulate the resistance (Hezbollah) for this new achievement."

That is from the news release here from Breitbart.

There you have it. The last chapter in the saga of the struggle over Lebanese direction. No Western country now has to argue over what position to take with Lebanon - it is a terrorist state no different than Hamas' Gaza Strip. Each and every Christian in Lebanon better work out a new plan of escape from this land as life is going to get very difficult there.

And Israel. A country, that in one day, has suffered the pain of realization that its sons are dead and has suffered the humiliation of releasing one of the the world's biggest fiends can now plan to destroy Hezbollah without any international outcry because as of today, the nation of Lebanon is dead. Dead to the world. Dead to this blog. This blogger will not rest until the day Lebanon smolders in the glow of death's aftermath. President Michel Suleiman signed the death warrant for the Lebanese people today. And it's time to serve the warrant - as long as the first strike takes out Kantar, Nasrallah and Suleiman.

Lebanese militant released in Israel prisoner swap

BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) - Five Lebanese militants freed from prisons in Israel in exchange for the bodies of two captured Israeli soldiers returned home Wednesday to a boisterous welcome from hundreds of cheering spectators.
Israel released Samir Kantar and four others after Hezbollah handed over two black coffins with the bodies of the Israeli soldiers, closing a painful chapter from the 2006 war in Lebanon.
Kantar, who had been serving multiple life terms in Israel for a grisly 1979 attack, wiped away tears as he stood before a crowd in the coastal border town of Naqoura.
The five later flew to Beirut, where they received an official welcome from the president and were congratulated by Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, who was last seen in public in January.
"Your return is a new victory and the future with you will only be a shinning march in which we achieve the sovereignty of our land and the freedom of people," President Michel Suleiman said in his address. "I congratulate the resistance (Hezbollah) for this new achievement."
Winning freedom for Kantar was one of the reasons Hezbollah's leader cited at the time for going to war with Israel in 2006.
Kantar was convicted in a nighttime attack that killed a 4-year-old girl, her father and a policeman. Although polls showed Israelis solidly endorsed the exchange, many see Kantar as the embodiment of evil.
"Samir Kantar is a brutal murderer of children and anybody celebrating him as a hero is trampling on basic human decency," said Mark Regev, spokesman for the Israeli prime minister.
Wednesday's exchange was also a wrenching end to the war for Israel. The soldiers' capture by Hezbollah fighters in a cross-border raid in 2006 triggered the 34-day war. The campaign to bring Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev home had become a national crusade.
The soldiers' Hezbollah captors had withheld any information about them since they were taken, refusing to release pictures or allow the Red Cross to see them. It was not clear if Regev and Goldwasser were killed in the original raid or if they died in captivity. Evidence at the scene indicated both were seriously wounded.
Though officials had suspected they were dead, the sight of the coffins was the first confirmation of their fate.

Nasrallah: Hezbollah Ruled, The West Was Fooled

There is an absolutely great article here over at Counterterrorism Blog that you really need to read in its entirety. Here's a bit of that but again, I encourage you to read the entire piece:

In the next days a major battle in the War of Ideas will be unfolding worldwide and particularly through the international media. We are now witnessing a massive campaign by Hezbollah's strategic communication machine (as our Western jargon likes to describe it) to frame the outcome of the battle for Lebanon, significantly lost by the United States, the West and the forces of Democracies in the region. The main issue at hand in the Iranian funded war room is not about convincing the international community and the Arab and Muslim world that Hezbollah has defeated its opponents in that small but strategically located republic, but that an overwhelming majority of Lebanese are now firmly standing behind Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in his vision for the future of the Eastern Mediterranean and probably the Greater Middle East.

This is probably one of the best takes on Nasrallah, Hezbollah and what might just be the new era of the Middle East. Look at this section of the article:

The Qatari regime brokered a deal, saving the face of the anti-Syrian politicians and providing them with enough oxygen for a year or so. But the lion's share was granted to the Syro-Iranian forces in Lebanon. Hezbollah emerged as the main real power in Lebanon, with a veto power inside the Government, eleven ministers, the sanctity of its Iranian weapons and enough legitimacy to shield it from being disarmed at any time under UNSCR 1559. If this is not a astounding victory, I don't know how to describe it accurately.
As the author of the piece contends, this was all a resounding victory for Hezbollah and what he has the insight for here is the fact that Nasrallah is going to do MORE with this victory - he literally wants to shape the Middle East to the ideals of the Iranian regime - the islamic state model.

Nasrallah's speech: Hezbollah Ruled, the West was Fooled
By Walid Phares

The propaganda machine, living off Khomeinist Petrodollars, enlists not only the traditional Hezbollah outlets such as al Manar but also a network of friends in the multi-layered world of the foreign press and active pens in a plethora of news rooms around the world. The power of the Iranian Oil lobbies is almost as influential as the power of the Wahabi Petro pressures group. We'll come back to revisit this world later.
In his more than significant speech today, secretary general of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah uncovered the bulk of his agenda for Lebanon, the region and perhaps his international open alignment with Tehran's ambitions. This speech, delivered after the invasion of West Beirut and southern Mount Lebanon and collapse of the Seniora Government is indeed a declaration of victory. Usually, Hezbollah's commander produces these benchmark-speeches when a new era is already underway. The first lesson thus is that the Tehran-backed militia in Lebanon has already scored its victory on the ground, in the institutions and diplomatically. What the political architects of the "axis" are working on as we write is a push to present the situation in Lebanon as marching towards stability and reconciliation. This is not unusual to "coups" aftermath.

The winners always try to set the agenda of the debate and later on their pens will try to rewrite history. But one has to admit that Western public is hardly absorbing the too many sudden Lebanon-related events that took place over the last few weeks. Strategic realities were that Hezbollah and its allies overran Beirut and crumbled the foundations of the democratically elected Government of Fuad Seniora; the Lebanese Army headed by the now President of Lebanon, General Michel Sleiman did not confront Hezbollah then nor after; the March 14 coalition backing the Government couldn't resist Hezbollah without the protection by the Lebanese Army or a Western intervention; both needed moves didn't happen; hence the March 14 accepted to participate in conference in Doha to cut a deal with Hezbollah under the auspices of the Qatar regime, a friend of all, including more importantly of Tehran and Syria.

And on top of it, Hezbollah welcomed - in fact hurried - the election of General Suleiman as the new President of the Republic. You don't need to be a political genius to figure out that Tehran would have shaken the Earth under Lebanon if the candidate was not who it wanted at this particular conjuncture. The rest is an amazing cooking of the story by the "axis kitchen." The version - available via the international news agencies and the networks it feeds - is a celestial tale: The Lebanese opposition (read Hezbollah) finally pressured the Government into making concessions; the Lebanese Army stood neutral between the "opposition" and the "loyalists;" a brotherly Arab initiative convinced "both parties" to come solve the problems calmly in Doha; hence both sides decided to make concessions and come up with a national reconciliation document. This version of the events would have needed an entire process of analysis but another rapid volley of events followed and shifted attention to the current stage of affairs.
