Video: Remember, These People Are With Your Children 7 Hours a Day
If I was running the negotiations here is what I would propose:
1. No pay raise. 2. No benefits raise. 3. No testing of teachers. 4. No making teachers accountable for their actions. 5. FULL VOUCHER PROGRAM STARTING IMMEDIATELY. EVERY STUDENT GETS A VOUCHER FOR $15,000 TO USE AT ANY SCHOOL THAT WILL TAKE THE CHILE.
You have 24 hours to get back to work or I will fire every one of you and hire new teachers who do not and will not belong to the Union.
I know a teacher like that in my area. she is horrifying! And almost everyone I know with children, sends them to private schools - thank Heavens there will be some intelligent, reasonable, rational human beings out there in the next generation of young adults!
