Three Americans Shot and Killed At Mexican Border, CNN Yawns

Boy, you want to talk about real investigative reporting (pardon me while I turn the sarcasm off here) then go to this CNN story that is supposed to detail the fact that three citizens of the United States of America were killed in cold blood this past weekend at the Mexican border. At that story, you'll find nearly zip - basically an obligatory post by CNN...you know, three Americans dead, no big deal.

Three Americans died in weekend violence in the area of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, a U.S. official said.

"Two citizens were fatally shot early Sunday close to the Zaragoza international bridge," State Department spokesman Philip Crowley said Monday. "In a separate incident, another U.S. citizen was fatally wounded in Ciudad Juarez itself."

The circumstances of the Americans' deaths weren't immediately clear.

"First, we offer our condolences to the families of the victims," Crowley said. "We have been in touch with those families and are providing all possible assistance."

Crowley added, "We will support the Mexican government in the investigation that is already under way."

Well, you know...if this piece of shit from the State Department wants to gloss over these murders that's one thing but good grief, does anyone remember a time when a news reporter would get that kind of bullshit brushoff from a government official and then dive head first into the story and find out the truth? Did CNN even THINK about finding some witnesses in the area? Did they even check with local law enforcement? Are we even sure which side of the border the two murders at the bridge occurred on?

We have seen 432 reports about the three American hostages that were arrested by Iran but since the Left is interested in that drama, it gets play, but when three other Americans are literally killed...they get nothing. CNN gave three dead Americans 132 words. Why? Because the Left media in this country wants to be sure they don't do a damn thing to upset the amnesty movement in this country. Disgusting lot they are.

Violence is rife in the area, as the Juarez and Sinaloa cartels battle for control of lucrative smuggling routes into the United States, where demand for illegal drugs is strong.
