One has to wonder how long India is going to let this build before they start bombing - 60,000 American troops in Afghanistan will be the least of Taliban worries once the Indian military mobilizes. Guantanamo will be like club med to the fucking Mullahs compared to what happens when Indian troops capture them. Both sides have nukes (that can't reach U.S. thank God) - this can get real ugly real fast.
You bring up a great point here - India isn't too happy with Pakistan to begin with and these Taliban represent the other worse half of Pakistan's islamists - the Indians may just see these Taliban as a way to take out some of the Mumbai revenge.
