You know, the Canadians get rid of the spineless one, Dion, and end up with a jellyfish in his place as Liberal leader...namely Michael Ignatieff who now is calling for complete withdrawl of Canadian forces from Afghanistan by 2011.
Here's the complete article from Breitbart:
I have blogged many times here about the valiant efforts of Canadian troops in Afghanistan...the free world owes them a debt of gratitude and I realize the price the Canadian people have paid with over 100 young men killed in action. But isn't this war, this battleground in Afghanistan what the war on Terror is all about? Isn't this the defining moment where the surrenders will find themselves in the grip of terror for all time?

Canada must pull its troops out of Afghanistan by 2011, Ignatieff saysOne has to wonder what Ignatieff's reasons are? I mean, is he just a pacifist by nature or does he think the 9/11 attacks on America were not worthy of Canada fighting on the side of good in the war on Terror? Somebody in Canada please ask this chump WHY he wants to quit. Why does he want to turn tail and run home like a whipped puppy?
QUEBEC - Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff says Canada should not extend its military mission in Afghanistan even if U.S. President Barack Obama requests it.
Ignatieff says he intends to press that point to Obama when he meets him in Ottawa on Thursday.
There have been indications Obama will ask Prime Minister Stephen Harper to keep Canadian troops in the wartorn country.
Ignatieff, who was in Quebec City today to meet with Mayor Regis Labeaume, says there must be a revision in the strategy in Afghanistan where Taliban and other insurgents have battled NATO forces for six years.
Ignatieff also plans to warn Obama against economic protectionism and extol the virtues of free trade.
He did praise Obama's decision to close the controversial U.S. military detention centre at Guantanamo Bay and said Canadian detainee Omar Khadr should be returned home to face justice.
