Hezbollah Gets 35 Iranian Speedboats Just Before Latest Outbreak

This is just another indication of not only the build up of Hezbollah's arsenals but the brazen manner in which Iran is imposing their will upon the land of Lebanon. Read this excerpt from the article here at DEBKA:

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that three weeks before Hizballah seized western Beirut, the Shiite terrorist group took delivery of 35 fast speedboats for use with explosives from Iran. The craft can threaten US Sixth Fleet and Israel Navy shipping close to Lebanese shores, reach Israel’s Haifa and Ashdod Mediterranean ports and raid its coastal oil installations.
They were delivered in mid-April by an Iranian freighter at the Syrian port of Latakia and trucked to Naimah port south of Beirut

Not only does this pose a huge threat to some Israeli ports but it could be a danger to U.S. Naval vessels off of Lebanon. One can only remember the U.S.S. Cole when you consider what one of these boats could do if fully loaded with explosives.

Hopefully, the Israelis will be able to locate these and blow them, pardon the pun, out of the water.

And at what point does the Western world look Iran in the eye and force them to stop this arming of a terrorist organization? And at what point is Syria held responsible for the go between role they constantly play in these arming efforts?

There simply has to be some vivid penalties to the Iranians for shipping these weapons and equipment off to Hezbollah and Hamas - each time this happens, they get away with it and we have seen the damage the Iranians have done in Iraq. Is it going to take a speedboat full of explosives hitting an American destroyer and killing dozens of U.S. Navy personnel for us to act?

Exclusive: Hizballah received 35 new Iranian speedboats shortly before current crisis

The speedboats were tailor-made for Hizballah by Iranian Revolutionary Guards shipyards at Bandar Abbas as the only marine terror fleet operating in Mediterranean waters. Our military sources report the boats are capable of carrying chemical, biological and radiological weapons systems.
They were delivered in mid-April by an Iranian freighter at the Syrian port of Latakia and trucked to Naimah port south of Beirut. There they were hidden in the subterranean hangars belonging to Ahmed Jibril, head of the Palestinian Liberation Front-General Command. Today, the PLF-GC is financed and directed by the Revolutionary Guards. The hangars were constructed in the seventies by East Germany engineers with a protected Mediterranean anchorage and made virtually impenetrable by sea or air.
