Scholar States That War on Global Jihad Must Be Fought by BOTH American Political Parties

We've said it time and time again that the Dems and socialists of America simply continue to stick their heads in the sand regarding the threat of the jihadists worldwide. The author, George Weigel, now has written a book in which he says that the war on global jihad just simply cannot be won unless both political sides in the United States buy into the fight and the recognition of the terror.
Call me pessimistic but I've yet to hear a single Democrat politician truly sound concerned about the threat of jihad to America and the world. John Edwards, for example, has examples of the most detailed healthcare atrocities in America, yet the airwaves are completely silent of any Edwards' concern about terrorism or jihad. If we don't talk about it, maybe it will just go away, right?

New York Times best-selling author George Weigel says the United States cannot win the war against global Islamic Jihad until both political parties understand the motives behind jihadists and why they commit acts of terror.

Weigel's book is entitled Faith, Reason, and The War Against Jihadism: A Call to Action. The book was born of a desire to help his fellow citizens in this election year, he says, and to help them to fully understand the threat of jihadist terrorism. The future of the human race cannot be the burden of one political party, argues Weigel. He believes the next president will have no choice but to confront this Islamic threat.
