Harry Reid Asks Pres. Bush To Cut Aid To Pakistan

We all just knew it was a matter of time. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has officially lost his mind and should be removed from the Senate due to mental incapacity.
Reid has asked President Bush to halt aid to Pakistan unless President Pervez Musharraf does more to combat terrorism, restore democratic freedoms and investigate the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Before I lose it here, let me run through this request by Reid with specific questions:

1. Senator Reid, you claim the Pakistanis haven't done enough to battle al Qaeda in Pakistan and should be cut off because of it. Now, aren't you the same Harry Reid that has asked for an immediate surrender by U.S. Troops in Iraq to al Qaeda in Iraq? Oh, and you don't seem to have any problem, Senatory Reid, with sending millions (or is it a billion) to the palestinians, so that Hamas and Islamic Jihad can kill innocent Jews as well as their own civilians?

2. Restore democratic freedoms? Since when do you carry that flag, Harry? Did I miss you deununciation of the North Koreans for the same thing. Have you asked for the U.S. to cut all relations with China for the same reason?

3. Senatory Reid, you were silent as a church mouse when the Syrians assassinated 14 political leaders in Syria. Remember? You didn't say a word. Now you are up in arms over Bhutto?

Let's face it folks. The U.S. in the hands of Senator Harry Reid will means more mosques than 7-11's, a prayer mat next to your office desk and a nation of women in burqas.

Here's the grand edict from the Majority Baffoon Leader (full story).

U.S. Senate leader asks Bush to cut military aid for Pakistan

WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 (AP) - (Kyodo)—U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid urged President George W. Bush on Thursday to cut military aid to the Pakistani government unless President Pervez Musharraf does more to combat terrorism, restore democratic freedoms and investigate the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Reid, a Nevada Democrat, said in a letter to Bush that the Bush administration's strategy of supporting Musharraf's government has failed in combating terrorism and promoting democracy.
"Your administration has chosen to provide President Musharraf billions from U.S. taxpayers even as he undermined the institutions of democracy in Pakistan and fell short in his actions against al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups operating in his country," Reid said in the letter.
"The United States should not continue to provide billions in assistance to Pakistan while democracy in Pakistan is eroded and the terrorist threat in Pakistan grows," he said.

Reid called on Bush to press Musharraf to free all political prisoners, allow international election observers to monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections, reinstate dismissed Supreme Court justices and request a U.N. inquiry into the assassination of Bhutto.
