Interesting discovery by U.S. troops south of Baghdad - a web of tunnels used as hiding places for jihadists, weapons, artillery caches and such. This would explain a lot of how al Qaeda in Iraq has been so difficult to find in some areas.
The question might be...just WHEN were these tunnels constructed - how long ago?
The plus side is certainly this information will be passed to other areas and look for additional finds in other areas of Iraq.
Story is here.
