The Racism of Joe Biden

Joe Biden's infamous description of Barack Obama back in the 2008 election when Biden described the African-American, Obama:



So, let's break that down and put the spotlight on what Joe Biden MEANT:

• Biden says Obama is "clean" - meaning he isn't filthy and unwashed like all other African-Americans
• Biden describes Obama as "bright" - meaning that for the first time America has a black candidate who isn't dumber than white candidates like Biden
• Biden goes on to describe Obama as "articulate" - meaning that America, for the first time, has an African-American candidate who people can actually understand - one who actually speaks like white people do
• Biden, finally adds that Obama is a "nice looking guy" - in other words, it's refreshing to Biden to see an African-American who isn't butt ugly and revolting to most white Americans

The reason Biden used the term "storybook" is because, in his view, there now was an African-American political candidate who acts like a white man, talks like a white man, is pretty like a white man and is as smart as a white man but actually has dark skin.  

This is the racism of Joe Biden.
