Holger Asks Why #58: Why Didn't the Democrats Want To Stop the Government Shutdown?

We all saw it go down...we saw the Republicans of the U.S. House of Representatives offer up not just one, nor two, but three offers to the U.S. Senate that would have kept the government from shutting down and we saw the Democrat-controlled Senate not even think consider any of them.  It's almost like the Senate WANTED the government to shut down and blame it all on the Republicans, right?

Why?


I offer up my theory which I had outlined quite some time ago on The Awakening show on Blog Talk Radio.

The Democrats and the Left in this country really only care about one thing - taking back the House in 2014 so they have two full years of a Democrat-controlled House, Senate and Presidency.  That way, full fledged socialism can be implemented in America before 2016.

So here is how it works, the Democrats/Marxists have lured the GOP/Conservatives into this government shutdown trap - they have worked overtime with a grand plan with the main stream media to ensure that at least 75% of the country will blame the Right for this government shutdown.  But they have to take things way further in order to crush the Right's chances of retaining the House in 2014 - so what they will do is crash the economy of America, much as they did in the summer of 2008 so that Barack Hussein Obama would be elected.

Let me remind you of what Barack Obama said on September 16, 2013:

“I cannot remember a time when one faction of one party promises economic chaos if it can’t get 100 percent of what it wants.”

“The last time the same crew threatened this course of action back in 2011, even the mere suggestion of default slowed our economic growth,” Mr. Obama said, recalling that summer’s market-rattling showdown.

Here's what we will see happen:

• Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will all come out now, with the shutdown in effect, and express their "grave" concerns that this will be devastating to our economy unless the Republicans change their minds and let the government reopen
• The leaders of the Left will hold a press conference and implore the House to restore the government for the good of the economy and for the good of the country
• Then the hammer will fall shortly after - we will see the same domino effect of the economic crash of 2008 when George Soros sunk Lehman Brothers and the rest toppled in succession
• The economy will begin the spiral down and all along the way you will see Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi on camera pointing the finger at Conservatives....Nancy Pelosi will state that this would never happen with her in charge of the House

And that will be it.  The American economy will be in a shambles.  Again.  And the mid-term elections of 2014 will be a lock.  A lock for the Socialists/Marxists to own the government once again.
