The Bloody Facts About the Southern Poverty Law Center

From Family Security Matters and this blogger's friend, Mr. Alan Kornman.

Discredited Southern Poverty Law Center Has Blood On Its Hands
by ALAN KORNMAN

America's first case of Domestic Terrorism sentencing hearing is July 15, and all roads lead back to a discredited liberal activist group called The Southern Poverty Law Center and its political enemies list. The SPLC has become infamous for its falsifications, slanders, and baseless demonizations of conservative political groups, and now it nearly cost people their lives!

Floyd Lee Corkins A Domestic Terrorist - Video of the Attack

Floyd Lee Corkins is a liberal militant homosexual LGBT activist. Court documents state that Corkins wanted kill employees of the Family Research Council because, "I don't like these people, I don't like what they stand for...and he intended to kill as many employees of the FRC that he could."

Court papers show that Corkins brought a semiautomatic pistol, two fully loaded magazine clips with 15 rounds each, a box of 50 rounds of 9 mm bullets, and 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches to smear in the faces of his dead victims.

Militant Gay Activist Shoots African American

When Corkins enters the FRC building, Leonardo Johnson, a building manager and unarmed security guard asked Corkins for his identification.

Corkins then shot Mr. Johnson in the arm with the intent to kill. Despite Mr. Johnson's serious gunshot injury he managed to wrestle the gun away from Corkins and held him at gunpoint until the DC Police arrived.

Not An Impulsive Act

An FBI subsequent investigation confirmed that Corkins did not act impulsively in committing the shooting. Further statements to the FBI show that Corkins had, "been thinking about perpetrating similar violence for years, but just never went through with it."

That is until the SPLC website ‘hate list' gave Corkins the information he was looking for. Corkins told the FBI, " He was a political activist and considered the FRC a lobbying group. He committed the shooting for political reasons. He had identified the FRC as an anti-gay organization on the Southern Poverty Laws Center website."

Corkins committed a political act of violence to further his liberal homosexual LGBT agenda. The FRC is a Conservative political group who advocates a marriage is between a man and a woman. The SPLC leadership lists many conservative groups as hate groups because Mark Potok is himself a liberal activist who uses his pen as a sword against his political rivals, much like how Floyd Corkins used his Sig Sauer handgun against his political enemies at the FRC.

SPLC Arch Salesman of Hate Mongering

The SPLC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a staggering bank account worth $223.8 Million. In 1994 the SPLC's hometown newspaper the Montgomery Advertiser published a 9 day expose of Morris Dee's empire.

Robert Stacy McCain states, "Originally devoted to tracking violent neo-Nazi and Klan groups, in the 1990s the SPLC began expanding its purview to include all "extremists," which has proved to be an amazingly flexible term. In 2003, for example, an SPLC report warned its readers of the dangers posed by such respectable conservative organizations as the American Enterprise Institute and the Bradley Foundation.

With the Klan and White Supremacist groups becoming national jokes, it became increasingly more difficult for the SPLC to raise money off the KKK and other white supremacists groups.

The SPLC's shift from the KKK to militias and conservative groups began in 1997 when Mark Potok was hired by the SPLC.

Mark Potok Casts A Wide Net of "Hate" At The SPLC

Mark Potok is a Liberal activist who transformed the SPLC into a political action group whose focus is attacking Conservatives because they have a competing political philosophy.

Mr. Potok is now "King Of The Hate Business" and like any business one must have a hot product to sell and put new products on the shelves.

So how does Mark Potok and the SPLC make groups that are against Jihad, support the Constitution & Bill Of Rights, promote individualism, smaller government, out to be a "mass legion of haters".

Potok uses a technique called the "links and ties" method he learned well from his earlier adversaries.

Links And Ties Method

Academically speaking the links and ties method uses, "incidental associations between groups and individuals to create a false perception of shared ideology and purpose."

The SPLC is powerless unless they can attach a label to their targets. Racist used to be the label of choice, but it has been so overused over the last 20 years it doesn't destroy individuals and groups like it used too.

Today labeling someone a "hater" or part of a "hate group" is effective ritual defamation.

Lance Wilcox says, "The power of ritual defamation lies entirely in its capacity to intimidate and terrorize...It is not used to persuade, but to punish. Although it may have cognitive elements, its thrust is primarily emotional. Ritual Defamation is used to hurt, to intimidate, to destroy, and to persecute, and to avoid the dialogue, debate and discussion upon which a free society depends. On those grounds it must be opposed no matter who tries to justify its use."

Conclusion

Mark Potok and the SPLC's falsifications, slanders, and baseless demonizations motivated Floyd Lee Corkins to commit the first case of domestic terrorism pursuant to 22 D.C. Code 3151, et. seq., Assault with Intent to Kill is an enumerated "Act of Terrorism" if committed with the requisite intent.

On August 15, 2012, Floyd Lee Corkins, assaulted Johnson and the FRC with the "intent to intimidate or coerce a significant portion of the civilian population of the District of Columbia and/or the United States; namely, any and all individuals associated with or supporting the FRC, like minded organization, or otherwise holding beliefs contrary to or advocating against gay marriage."

Mark Potok and the Southern Poverty Law Center have discredited themselves beyond repair. The Emperor of ritual defamation, Mark Potok, is a weak little man drunk on liberal political activism rather than fighting for equality, freedom, liberty, and American exceptionalism.
