CIA Director Petraeus Resigns, Cites Extramarital Affair
Central Intelligence Agency Director David Petraeus has resigned, citing "extremely poor judgment" for having an extramarital affair, NBC News reported.
"Yesterday afternoon, I went to the White House and asked the President to be allowed, for personal reasons, to resign from my position," Petraeus said in a letter to CIA colleagues. "After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours."
"This afternoon, the President graciously accepted my resignation," Petraeus said in the letter.
Mike Morrell, the deputy CIA director and a long time CIA officer, will likely be offered the job as acting director, multiple sources told NBC News.

So it's ok for the president (Bill Clinton), but the head of the CIA has to lose his job over it?? Systematic replacement of officials that challenge the authority of the White House. We need some of these officials to start coming out publicly with what's going on in D.C. nowadays...because everyone is too unaware of the Lenin-like government we're beginning to have because they're doing it so subtly.

History teaches us that under in the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin the Red Army was purged of its best officers and men. In fact the purge nearly destroyed the Red Army and it was a real possibility that due to the purge (And killing of these men) that Germany could have destroyed the Soviet Union.
