Al Qaeda's al-Zawahri Calls For Saudis To Rise Up In Arab Spring Model

Ayman al-Zawahri, Al Qaeda's #1 or #2 depending on who you talk to, has come out with a statement that the Saudi people need to rise up and oust the rulers of the Saudi kingdom.  I'm guessing that al-Zawahri would be fine with a new government of Muslim Brotherhood types or perhaps even an al Qaeda caliphate.

But my biggest question is why are we still seeing videos and audio tapes of this clown?  I would think that with all of the intel we got out of the bin Laden bunker in Pakistan, we would have had a paved road of information as to al Zawahri's whereabouts.  The fact of the matter is we need this piece of shit dead and it certainly doesn't seem to be a focus of anyone in the Obama administration.

The story comes from The Telegraph.

Al-Qaeda leader Ayam al-Zawahri calls on Saudi Arabia to rise up

Al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri has urged Saudis to follow the example of the Arab Spring and rise up against their rulers.

"Why don't you rise while you are the sons of the proud and strong tribes that look down upon death in order to lift the humiliation and the oppression?" Zawahiri asked in a video translated by the US-based SITE Intelligence Group.

"Why don't you follow the example for your brothers in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Yemen and the Levant?"

He was referring to the Arab Spring wave of popular uprisings that has roiled North Africa and the Middle East since December 2010.

The six-minute video was produced in February or March and appeared Thursday on extremist websites, according to SITE.

It opens with footage showing Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah meeting Pope Benedict XVI, former US President George W Bush and current US President Barack Obama.

"It has been nearly a year now since the Arab peoples rose against their rulers. They rose in the west and north, and you don't move," the Egyptian-born Zawahiri said in the video.

"My noble brothers, why are you patient with the rule of the family of Saud, while it is one of the worse regimes in terms of corruption?" he asked.

Zawahiri reproached the Saudi rulers for having opened the country to US troops, imprisoned violent extremists and spread immorality through the media. Most US troops withdrew from Saudi Arabia, home to some of Islam's holiest sites, in 2003.

In previous videos aired in recent days, Zawahiri urged Somalia's al-Shabaab fighters to wage a war of attrition against Kenyan and African Union troops in Somalia.

He also called on Yemenis to fight their new president Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi, calling him an agent of the United States.

Let teh chips fall wher they may with al quaeda. What about Obama and this horrendous 8 point deal he has just cooked upo with Iran. This totally goes against everything ISrael thought Obama agreed to. Now ISrael is being thrown under the buss by Obama.
I guess now its five or six times Obama has lied directly ti ISrael given one guarantee and does something else. Why does ISrael put up with this. Israel need to give Obama a huge black eye. ISrael need to insure Obamas betrayal gets well publicised and that they tell the USA that the US is no longer the trusted friend it keeps telling us they are. Even Russia is a better friend than the liar in chief Obama
