Frances Fox Piven and Russell Simmons Address the Communists and Paid Rable Rousers In NYC
Ah, Remember 2008, 2009 and 2010 when we were told Frances Pivens was just a delightful old Granny, baking cookies for her grandchildren and knitting afghans (not the people)…oh those where the days….but see what Granny is up to now….
Frances Fox Piven:
You know I’m glad to be here! I’m so glad that you are here. You are amazing! Allot of you are young, you have energy, imagination, guts! You could start a movement in the United States and maybe across the globe! And you know, you have come to the right place to kick off that movement! Wall Street! Wall Street is the center of the neo liberal cancer that has spread across the world. You know, you’ve heard people say they’re greedy, and they are greedy. You’ve heard people say they’re thieves, and they are thieves. But they’re also cannibals because they are eating their own… us!
They have managed over the last 50 years to push all the tax onto our backs and to virtually eliminate their own tax and then what do they do? They say oh the deficits, they are the big problem. They are a problem because big business and finance have stop paying taxes!
And then what do they do? They insist on attacking public education, they insist on firing teachers, they roll back pensions, does that make sense? They don’t even care if they live in this country! They’re gonna suck it dry!
Well, can we reverse that? Well, the people have reversed corporate greed and madness before! So, this is the beginning, there are movements, occupations like this now in LA, Chicago, I heard about one in Boston tonight, were gonna re-occupy our country! And to do that, we have to link arms, with poor people, with black people, with working people, with unions, we have to all be together because this is going to be the fight of our lives.
AND Russel Simmons:
Russel Simmons:
I had a long speech but she said everything. She started with the rap about how courageous you all are, how inspirational you are, how you represent the seeds of a revolution and it touched my heart. Then she went on to talk about Wall Street, and she went on to talk about our unions, she went on to talk about our social programs, and our education and the class warfare being waged on the poor on and the middle class. That fact is our problem, at least our number one problem is the corporations and the other special interest groups that are more important to our politicians than the people.
The lobbyists and the money gotta get the fuck out of Washington! I didn’t say we should tear the Democratic system down, I say we should re-build it. I didn’t say we should tear it down I said we should rebuild it.
The truth is, I should pay more taxes! If I can’t pay more taxes, I give it the fuck away anyways.
Now the point I’m making is that there are many news media outlets who say they don’t know what we want, we have to tell them one thing at least. That we want freedom from the politicians from the corporate ownership of their lives, we have to get the money out of Washington! That’s all I came to say.

Wakey Wakey America, the communists and paid rable rousers are on the doorsteps….
From BigGovernment
Saturday, marked the second week of the #OccupyWallSt protests. With the endorsements of union bosses now firmly in their back pockets, protesters in New York celebrated the anniversary of their campout in a New York City park by shutting down the Brooklyn Bridge. This, of course, led to the NYPD to arrest many of the—more than 700, according to the New York Times.
In a tense showdown above the East River, the police arrested more than 700 demonstrators from the Occupy Wall Street protests who took to the roadway as they tried to cross the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
The police said it was the marchers’ choice that led to the enforcement action.
While some of the Neo-Communists (“Neo-Coms“) are purposely depriving themselves of shelter and (in the case of yesterday’s arrests) freedom out of sheer ideology, at least one appears to be getting paid—handsomely—to be part of the Marxist madness.
Meet Jeff Rae*:
Meet Jeff Rae*:
Among Saturday’s arrestees was one Jeff Rae (@JeffRae), from Washington, DC. Mr. Rae describes himself on Twitter as a “rabble rouser, agitator, organizer, labor activist.” According to Mr. Rae, he was arrested for ‘failure to obey order, prohibited use of roadway, and blocking traffic.’ [In other words, Mr. Rae was being a disobedient civilian.]
Apparently, the NYPD allowed the detainees to have their cell phones while being incarcerated since Mr. Rae continued updating his Twitter followers (and whomever else happened by) with tweets about his hardships in the hoosegow:
- Things going slow still in cell hoping to get out soon 4 people to a 1 man cell. #occupywallstreet
- Jail photo right now #occupywallstreet http://t.co/5z8YYPO7
- Our cell does not have running water but toliet works. Cell next to us had a non working toliet #occupywallstreet
- Police tell us our Singing in jail will add charges #occupywallstreet
Now, by reading Mr. Rae’s tweets, one could be left with the impression that Mr. Rae is just your average, everyday left-wing ideologue that gets himself arrested “for the cause.” If that is your impression, you are partially correct.
To be sure, Mr. Rae is a left-wing ideologue. However, Mr. Rae does not appear to be just an average left-wing ideologue. In fact, it appears Mr. Rae is a professional rabble rouser, agitator, organizer, and labor activist. [See Agitpropist.]
In fact, it appears that Mr. Rae is the same Jeffrey Ray who is employed as the Director of New Media by the Transport Workers Union in Washington, DC—the same union that joined the #OccupyWallSt protests last week. And, as a professional rabble rouser, agitator, organizer and labor activist, Mr. Rae isn’t one of those downtrodden masses for whom the Neo-Communist protests are allegedly meant for since Mr Rae seems to be doing quite well for himself…

In fact, as many Americans have been losing their jobs and homes during the Great Recession, Mr. Rae has actually seen his income as a professional rabble rouser, agitator, organizer and labor activist increase substantially—from $69,353 in 2008 to $118,534 in 2010.
Mr. Rae also appears to be the same Jeffrey Rae who traveled to Bejing in 2008 and was arrested and detained for six days, as well as traveled to Wisconsin earlier this year:

Jeff Rae, 30, who works for the Transport Workers Union in Washington, said he arrived in Madison to gather intelligence on the controversy. His union sees Wisconsin as the first in a series of battles nationwide, he said.Who says rabble rousing isn’t profitable?
“This is Ground Zero,” Rae said. “Ohio’s next.”
Like Wisconsin, Ohio is looking to cuts in spending to balance its budget. In Ohio, however, the odds are seen favoring organized labor more than in Wisconsin, Rae said.
* NOTE: Mr. Rae has not responded on Twitter to confirm or deny if he is the same rabble rousing, agitating, organizing, labor activist that the Transport Workers Union employs as its Director of New Media.

The Return of Van Jones and Marxist Street Protests
Cliff Kincaid — October 2, 2011
A “Take Back the American Dream” three-day conference in Washington begins on Monday that features Van Jones, the disgraced former Obama Administration “Green Jobs Czar,” a Russian TV star, and a veteran of the Venceremos Brigades to Cuba who works for the AFL-CIO. Such is the nature of the modern progressive movement.
“I think everybody should hold onto your seats,” said Jones on Thursday’s MSNBC program “The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell.”
“October is going to be the turning point when it comes to the progressive fight back,” he went on. “We are a part of something called the American Dream Movement. We`re having a huge summit on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Come—you can go to rebuildthedream.com and find out more about it. We are going to build a progressive counterbalance to the Tea Party.”Once a top figure in a Marxist group called Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM), Jones predicts “an American fall, an American autumn, just like we saw the Arab spring. You can see it right now with these young people on Wall Street. Hold onto your hats. We`re going to have an October offensive to take back the American Dream and to rescue America`s middle class.”
