Three American Citizens From Florida Indicted For Aiding the Taliban

Okay, this is one of the briefest articles that I've ever put up here at Holger but this appears to be just breaking from Reuters via Breitbart. Three American citizens living in Florida have been indicted on providing aid and material to the Taliban along with three Pakistanis.

Hopefully, there will be more up later for us to review but this sounds like a helluva good grab by the FBI here on American soil.

Thanks to Holger reader and contributor Sharku.....This story has now been updated and lo and behold, it's a couple of Florida islamic imams and one of their family members that are behind the support of the Taliban. Darnit, I was so hoping it was going to be several Buddhist monks so we could dispel that word "islamic" before the word "terror."

Two South Florida imams and a third family member were arrested Saturday on charges of providing support to the Pakistani Taliban, the Justice Department said.

In addition, three others in Pakistan were also indicted on the same charges.

FBI agents arrested Hafiz Khan and his son Izhar Khan in South Florida, the department said. They are expected to make their initial court appearance in federal court on Monday.

Another of Hafiz Khan's sons, Irfan Khan, was arrested in Los Angeles and will appear in court there.

Hafiz Khan is the imam at Flagler Mosque in Miami. Izhar Khan, is an imam at the Jamaat Al-Mu'mineen Mosque in Margate, Florida.

So there you have it...imams leading Florida mosques...being all peaceful and bridging those gaps between islam and America and yet at the same time, giving aid, money and comfort to the Taliban who are hellbent on killing American troops and spreading terror across the world. But of course, we certainly can't suspect any fishy business going on in America's mosques, right?

U.S. charges six for supporting Pakistani Taliban


(Reuters) - Six people in Florida and Pakistan have been charged with providing financing and material support to the Pakistani Taliban, a designated foreign terrorist organization, U.S. federal officials said on Saturday.

The United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida and local FBI agents announced the four-count indictment against three U.S. citizens resident in Florida and three other individuals living in Pakistan.
