Former Pakistani Foreign Minister Calls For Resignation of Pakistan's President and Prime Minister for U.S. Breach of Pakistan's Sovereignty

If you ever wanted to know how messed up Pakistan is, just stayed tuned to the aftermath of the killing of Osama bin Laden. The former Foreign Minister of Pakistan has come out and called for the resignation of the country's President and Prime Minister for what he feels is the violation of Pakistan's sovereignty by the U.S. after a Navy SEAL team went into Abbottabad and killed bin Laden.

Yep...apparently Shah Mahmood Qureshi missed the memo that has been going around for about 9 fucking years that America would go ANYWHERE to kill bin Laden....apparently Qureshi is more upset about one dead jihadi leader than 3,000 dead Americans.

From the article at DAWN:

Pakistan’s former foreign minister called on the country’s president and prime minister to resign on Saturday, following the American raid that killed Osama bin Laden, one of the highest-profile calls so far for senior officials to be held accountable.

Some Pakistanis have focused their anger on the country’s powerful army and intelligence chiefs. But former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani are the ones who should be held responsible.

“This is a great violation of our sovereignty, but this is for the president and prime minister to resign and no one else,” said Qureshi in press briefing.

Qureshi is now a lawmaker for the ruling Pakistan People’s Party.

He has said he was pushed out of his position as foreign minister in February after he clashed with party officials over the case of Raymond Allen Davis, a CIA contractor who shot and killed two Pakistanis in the central city of Lahore, apparently in self-defense.

What we have here his both an anti-American asswipe and a Muslim who believes totally in the elimination of infidels. You know what is interesting? As Foreign Minister of Pakistan, good old Qureshi didn't seem to have one problem at all with Pakistan receiving billions and billions of dollars in American aid....not once did he stand up and exclaim that Pakistan didn't need the damn money of the stinking crusader infidels. Hell no, he took that money like the rest of them but at the same time, in secret, he worked to protect bin Laden, he worked to see that America fell to Islam one day.

President, PM should resign: Shah Mehmood Qureshi

Qureshi insisted Davis did not enjoy blanket diplomatic immunity, but he was ultimately released after the families of the victims were compensated.
