Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Leader Visits Iran, Declares He Wants Israel Wiped Off the Map

Okay, let's get to the meat of this. From the article at The Jerusalem Post, this is a quote from Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood member, Kamal El Helbawy, when he visited Iran this week:

“Every night when I go to bed, I pray to wake up the next day to see Israel is wiped off the map,” the Brotherhood leader reportedly said.

So, there you have it. Like an echo chamber of Iran's nutcase President Ahmadinejad but this time coming from the likes of a Muslim Brotherhood member who, by the way, has been too chicken to live in Egypt and has hid out in Britain ...but the fact of the matter is that this reveals just what is behind the goals of the Muslim Brotherhood.

And it just reinforces that something is going on in the Muslim world - we are seeing meetings that never happened before - we are seeing Egyptians go to Iran, we are seeing Saudis reach out to Iran...what is going on is simply a perceived change in power in this world. The Saudis and Egyptians once looked to the U.S. for a semblance of protection and at least cooperation and the Wikileaks proved that the Saudis wanted the U.S. to take out Iran...well, now that it has been revealed that America's President is a weak-kneed, yellow bellied, spineless whimp...the Saudis and Egyptians have had to resort to cowtow to the Iranians so they don't get nuked off the planet.

We are looking at a bloody mess in the Middle East and Asia and we have a President who has no clue what to do other than let some third world shitbags call the shots.

Egyptian Islamist wishes to ‘see Israel wiped off map’

A prominent member of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood this week became the first member of the Islamist group to visit Iran, where he praised Tehran’s leadership and denounced Israel.

The New York Post reported that Kamal El Helbawy – a London-based Islamic scholar and Brotherhood representative widely known as the movement’s face in the West – told his hosts he wished to see Egypt become, like Iran, “a true Islamic state.”

“Egypt and the world of Islam as a whole need leaders like President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad,” he said, and “should join a new world order with Iran and Venezuela, plus Hezbollah and Hamas to chase away the Americans.

“Every night when I go to bed, I pray to wake up the next day to see Israel is wiped off the map,” the Brotherhood leader reportedly said.

Last month, during protests to oust Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Helbawy told Iran’s Al-Alam television network, “The only foreign intervention in this revolution is that of Israel. They destroyed the gas pipeline, so that the revolutionaries would be accused of using explosives. No one would accept a destructive Iranian role in Egypt, or elsewhere. We think highly of a country whose president is important, courageous and has a vision.”
