New Taliban Tactic in Afghanistan War - Use 5 Year Old Children To Plant Roadside Bombs

I think many of you have seen me go off here more than a few times about the Taliban - about how I want every single one of these scum eradicated from the planet. I make no bones about it, there is no other islamic terror bunch I want to feel the wrath of G_d more than the Taliban...well, besides senior leadership of al Qaeda. Why, you might ask? Well, this is just an example of why, from The Telegraph:

In the past five months the number child insurgents has increased almost fivefold in the town of Sangin, to a band of 40, who are used to run weapons, plant bombs and carry out tasks for the Taliban, The Daily Telegraph has learnt.
According to military intelligence sources there are about 12 children being routinely used in the Sangin area just to plant bombs.

The Taliban have resorted to the tactic because they know that British troops are unlikely to fire on children planting IEDs (improvised explosive devices). They have also been forced into the change because sophisticated surveillance technology is able to pick up Taliban IED planting teams and take action against them.
On one occasion surveillance cameras picked up two children under 10 walking along the main road with one placing an IED in a hole followed by another covering it up with a bag of stone and earth.
Part of the reason I have this attitude of mine regarding the Taliban is their use, from early on in the Afghan War, of human shields. These pigs have posted women and children outside their meetings in compounds for years. They are the scum of the earth. They are supposedly these fearless warriors yet they hide behind little kids, women and old people and now, we see they won't even do their own dirty work, but leave it to innocents.

And these are the same swine that the Left in America demanded, DEMANDED be let out of Gitmo. These are the same minions of Satan that Leftist lawyers argued had been stripped of their legal rights. Well, these fuckers don't get any rights. The only right they have, in my book is to die a violent and painful death.

The only solace I have regarding the Taliban is knowing that each and every one of them that our boys blow apart will end up on the other side finding out that allah isn't nothing but Lucifer and eternity is one hellish long time.

Children, aged 5, used to plant Taliban bombs in Afghanistan

"They know that we won't engage the kids," said an intelligence source with 40 Commando, Royal Marines, based in Sangin. "The kids are less aware of the risks and will to do anything for a quick buck.

"But it's really exploiting children. The parents are upset they do this but they are very, very intimidated by the Taliban."

There have been 44 roadside bombs in Sangin in the past months, a fifth were carried out by children.

At least one child has been killed in the last month laying an IED. Two other youngsters from his team turned up at the Marines' base one missing a hand and the other was later found with batteries, tape and wire on him.

"We have child accessories not child soldiers," said Major Ed Moorhouse, commander of Charlie Company, 40 Cdo. "They are entirely indoctrinated from an early age, very battle hardened and the Taliban know that our Western values inhibit us from firing on children."

In another incident that left the Marines deeply shocked a teenage boy, believed to be 14, arrived at a compound where he started chatting to one of commandos.

"We were having a joke, he wrote his name on my hand and then asked me if I was an officer," said Marine Tim Jones, 26, a Pashtun speaker. "He just seemed like a normal teenager but he had come in with an agenda."

Twenty minutes later the boy returned and went up to the corporal in charge of the patrol who was carrying a radio and detonated a suicide vest. But it is believed the boy put the vest on the wrong way round and caused only minor injuries to the corporal while killing himself.

"It's still difficult to take in that they are using kids to fight against us," said MnE Jones. "You feel sorry for them really because they are taken away at such a young age that they don't get a chance to choose."

Children are also used to approach Royal Marine patrols to identify commanders or officers who are then targeted by bombers or gunmen.

They will also carry guns or rocket-propelled grenades for the Taliban to be used in ambushes or are asked to connect IEDs to batteries.

Taliban commanders are also thought to develop a "cult of hero worship" around children.

"They are fully aware that we will not engage children except in extreme circumstances," said Company Sergeant Major Buck Ryan.

"I feel for the children. I have a 14-year-old son and to think of him doing something like that, to kill people, is horrific.

"Life is cheap out here, there's no question of that."

During one gunfight on a police check point yesterday, witnessed at a distance by The Daily Telegraph, an eight-year-old girl was struck in the back of the head by a bullet believed to have been fired by insurgents. She was in a stable condition after the bullet skimmed the top of her head causing a deep gauge.

Was the Dubai Assassination of Hamas Leader Actually a Botched Kidnapping Aimed At Exchange For Gilad Shalit?

This is a pretty fascinating article over at Debka - putting forth a theory about the Dubai killing of Hamas leader, Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh, that this operation was actually supposed to be a kidnapping of Al-Mabhouh who would then be offered up as a hostage exchange for IDF soldier, Gilad Shalit, who is being held by Hamas.

From the article:

Some US intelligence circles are now suggesting that the high-ranking Hamas official Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh who died by an unknown hand in Dubai last January was not targeted for death but for capture as a live hostage against the release of Gilead Shalit, the Israeli soldier whom Hamas kidnapped four years ago in a cross-border raid from Gaza and holds without contact with the outside world.

debkafile cites US intelligence sources as speculating that Mahboub was to have been one of half a dozen high-value Hamas operatives Israel planned to grab in January in different parts of the Middle East as bargaining chips for the Israeli soldier.
As the man in charge of Iran's weapons supplies to Hamas, Mahboub was judged a key lever for obtaining the Israeli soldier's freedom. Those US sources believe the plan to snatch him from a Dubai hotel went smoothly enough up until the last step. But then, the drugs administered to knock him out appeared to have killed him on the spot. He was meant to be doped enough to let himself be bundled out of the hotel on his two feet in the middle of the team of abductors without drawing attention. According to this theory, the team was to have driven him to Dubai port and put him aboard a waiting yacht, which was to sail off and rendezvous with an Israeli naval missile boat in the Red Sea.

Now, while this all seems plausible, it seems a bit of a stretch that those involved in such an intricate plot would screw up with the simple administering of a drug but for those out there that would dispute this theory, one might ask why...in the setting in which Mahoub was killed, why was he killed with drugs? Why not just put a shot through his head with a silencer? Why not just slit his throat?

Personally, I've never been much of a fan of kidnap and exchange ideas for the release of Gilad Shalit - I've leaned more to the systematic killing of every single top Hamas leader in Gaza, one by one, with the message that once Shalit is returned, the killings would stop.

Hamas leader in Dubai tagged as hostage for Gilead Shalit - new US intel theory

Some US intelligence circles are now suggesting that the high-ranking Hamas official Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh who died by an unknown hand in Dubai last January was not targeted for death but for capture as a live hostage against the release of Gilead Shalit, the Israeli soldier whom Hamas kidnapped four years ago in a cross-border raid from Gaza and holds without contact with the outside world.
Sunday, June 27, his parents Noam and Aviva Shalit launched a 12-day march to Jerusalem, gathering in many of thousands of supporters to lobby the government for his freedom
World figures, including the French and Italian governments, have demanded Gilead Shalit's immediate release - or at least Red Cross access to Hamas's prisoner.
debkafile cites US intelligence sources as speculating that Mahboub was to have been one of half a dozen high-value Hamas operatives Israel planned to grab in January in different parts of the Middle East as bargaining chips for the Israeli soldier.

After delivering him, the same team was to have proceeded to its next target.
But whether they gave Mahboub an overdose or whether his health was frailer than believed, he did not survive. The abduction team leader, lacking instructions for this exigency, decided to abort the
mission and leave the dead man in place. He told the would-be abductors to get out of Dubai fast and scatter. The rest of the high-risk, ambitious plan was scrapped.
Had it succeeded, say the US sources, it would have been Israel's biggest abduction operation ever, attesting to the extremely high importance Israel attaches to recovering its soldier from captivity.

The Israel Mossad's hand in the death of Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh was widely alleged but never proved. Several governments, Britain, Ireland, Australia among them, expelled the security officials at Israeli embassies from their capitals to protest the use of forged passports.

The negotiations to swap almost a thousand jailed Palestinians for Gilead Shalit stalemated six months ago when the German mediator pulled out.

Maoist Rebels Kill 26 Indian Police Officers In Ambush

I tell you what, the Indians have it coming from all sides - if it isn't muslim terrorist suicide bombers coming at them, then it's Mumbai-style jihadis coming in from Pakistan and if those two forces don't create death and destruction, then Maoist rebels inside the country ambush police officers. Today, 26 Indian police officers, on their way back from a ceremony were killed when their group was surrounded and ambushed by well-armed Maoist rebels.

This is an India, ravaged by terror, yet not once has Barack Hussein Obama extended his hand in cooperation or a united front with India in the fight against global terror. I guess the son of an islamist in Kenya just doesn't have much in common with Hindus, huh? Pakistanis, yes...Hindus, no.

From the article at DAWN.

Maoist rebels attack Indian police; 26 killed

RAIPUR: Maoist rebels killed 26 police officers in an ambush in central India on Tuesday, police said, in the latest of a series of deadly strikes against security forces.

The targeted group were returning from a road-opening ceremony when they were attacked by a large number of heavily armed militants, Ram Niwas, the head of anti-Maoist operations in the state of Chhattisgarh, said.

The Maoists, who massacred 76 policemen in Chhattisgarh in a similar assault in April, numbered as many as 100 and opened fire with automatic weapons from a hilltop.

The officers were surrounded in the ambush, which took place in Dhodai, 300 kilometres (190 miles) south of the state capital Raipur, and they fought back in a gun battle that lasted three hours, Niwas said.

“At least 26 security forces were killed and several injured,” he said, adding that some of the wounded were evacuated by helicopter and reinforcements had been sent to the area.

The government launched a major offensive last year to tackle the worsening left-wing insurgency, but since then the Maoists have hit back -- triggering widespread criticism of officials and politicians.

Maoist rebel groups have fought for decades throughout east and central India against state and government rule, drawing support from landless tribal groups and farmers left behind by the country's economic development.

In the last major attack by suspected Maoists, one month ago 146 people were killed when a Mumbai-bound passenger train from Kolkata was derailed by saboteurs in a remote part of West Bengal state.

The express veered into the path of an oncoming freight train after a section of track was removed.

Last month a Maoist landmine in Chhattisgarh hit a bus, killing 24 civilians and 11 police personnel, while 25 officers were also killed in February when Maoists overran a security camp in West Bengal state.

The scale of recent rebel strikes has highlighted the government's struggle to find an effective strategy against the Maoists, with ministers coming under severe pressure to clamp down on the violence.

As the attacks have worsened, calls have grown for the army and air force to be drafted in.

But until now, the government has insisted that paramilitary and state police forces were capable of flushing the Maoists out of their jungle bases.

Analysts say the government is hamstrung by internal disagreement, with some urging a more aggressive policy and others favouring a long-term strategy to addresses the plight of impoverished tribespeople and farmers.

Home Minister P. Chidambaram is seen as belonging to the former camp, while his ruling Congress party chief, Sonia Gandhi, has stressed the need to combat the “root causes” of the insurgency.

“There is a conflict between the so-called hawks who want to crush the rebels and the so-called doves who call for development in Maoist-dominated areas to wean away their support,” Ajai Sahani, a counter-terrorism expert, told AFP recently.

Military chiefs have made it clear that they are opposed to involving the armed forces in any direct combat operations.

Little is known about the Maoists' structure, but their current strength is estimated at between 10,000-20,000 guerrillas, who operate out of jungle camps where they undergo weapons and ideological training.

Security forces say their principal sources of funding are from abductions, extortion and looting. They have also set up unofficial administrations in some rural areas to collect taxes.

Not Terrorism But A "Provocative Action"

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration said Monday that the sinking of a South Korean warship blamed on North Korea was not terrorism, and not enough by itself to put Pyongyang back on a U.S. terror blacklist.

The State Department said the March sinking of the South Korean frigate Cheonan by a reported torpedo from a North Korean submarine was a "provocative action" and a violation of the truce that ended the Korean war.

But it added that the sinking was the act of one state's military against another and not an act of terrorism. Thus, it is not grounds to put North Korea back on the U.S. "state sponsors of terrorism" list as some in South Korea had wanted, spokesman P.J. Crowley said.

The North had been on the terror list but was removed in 2008 amid progress in the now-stalled effort to get it to abandon nuclear weapons.

The sinking "was a provocative action but one taken by the military of a state against the military of another state," Crowley told reporters. "That in our view does not constitute and act of international terrorism." (In the real world this is called an Act Of War)

However, he stressed that the administration was continually reviewing North Korean behavior to determine if other factors would lead to its redesignation as a state sponsor of terrorism. (Um.... what about nuclear proliferation and threats)

"We will not hesitate to take action if we have information that North Korea has repeatedly provided support for acts of terrorism," Crowley said.

An international investigation concluded last month that North Korea torpedoed the vessel near the tense Korean sea border, killing 46 South Korean sailors. North Korea flatly denies the allegation and has warned any punishment would trigger war.

Earlier Monday, North Korea threatened to bolster its nuclear capability in a new — though unspecified — way to cope with what it says is a hostile U.S. policy and military threats amid tensions over the sinking.

In other words they are testing a new delivery system for their nuclear bombs.

Thank You Very Much, Rolling Stone Magazine

Okay, for my regular readers, this won't come as a surprise but I did not care for General Stanley McChrystal much. I certainly respect the man's service to our country and his career but I vehemently disagreed with his strategy for the War in Afghanistan and for his walking on eggshell approach to civilian casualties in that theater.

I'll sum it up this way - Barack Hussein Obama chose McChrystal to replace Gen. David McKiernan in Afghanistan after Obama fired McKiernan. First of all, there isn't a single action that Barack Hussein Obama does that I don't second guess and in my opinion, Obama wanted a general in Afghanistan that would make the number one priority to NOT incur civililan casualties. At the same time, if you remember, at the time when McChrystal was chosen by Obama to take over, blowhard and fake military "expert" Joe Biden was making his push for a "special ops" war in Afghanistan - with fewer troops on the ground and more reliance on predator drones.

In my view, Obama picked McChrystal because McChrystal respected Obama (hell, he even voted for him) - and I believe it was pretty hard to find an Army general that respected Obama at that point.

Well, I have found someone that agrees with me. Take a look at this portion of the article at Family Security Matters written by Gregory Lee:

But Gen. McChrystal’s premature departure may not be such a bad thing after all. Michael Hastings may have unwittingly done more to win the war in Afghanistan than Gen. McChrystal could have done.

Gen. McChrystal forbad soldiers from visiting American fast-food joints in Kabul, denied them access to the Fox News Channel and voted for Barack Obama. If that wasn’t bad enough for soldier morale, his self-imposed rules of engagement made many of the rank-and-file soldiers further question his judgment. Many soldiers bitterly complained that fighting the Taliban was like having one arm tired behind their backs.

The general was so sensitive to collateral civilian casualties, his rules of engagement made it almost impossible to defeat the enemy. Soldiers witnessed Taliban fighters firing at them and then throw down their weapons because they knew the rules did not allow the soldiers to fire on unarmed combatants, even if he had just sent a rocket propelled grenade in their direction. Launching flares above the enemy at night was discouraged because they might fall on a civilian.
One other thing I'd like to add to that - under McChrystal, the use of AH-64 and fixed wing aircraft all but disappeared. We had U.S. troops put in danger at the remaining FOB's because of McChrystal's moratorium on JDAMs and Apache strikes.

So yes, I also thank Rolling Stone Magazine for the end result of their article but I do want to add this - even though General Stanley McChrystal voted for Obama in 2008 and took over Afghanistan believing in the Commander-in-chief's strategies, I think it's pretty obvious that Gen. McChrystal eventually found out he had sided with an incompetent and a Commander-in-chief that not only didn't deserve his vote but didn't deserve his service anymore.

Rolling Stone May Have Just Won The War in Afghanistan

This week past, President Obama relieved four-star general Stanley McChrystal of his duties in Afghanistan after Rolling Stone published an unflattering magazine article about him and his staff’s feelings toward the administration’s national security team. Although the vast majority of the discouraging quotes came from his staff, Gen. McChrystal is ultimately responsible, and the president did what any commander in chief would have done under the circumstances.

Neocons!

He promptly replaced him with well-respected Gen. David Petraeus, who engineered the successful “surge” campaign in Iraq.

Gen. McChrystal and his staff should have realized that there is no such thing as “off the record.” If a journalist hears a juicy quote that supports his or her story, you can count on reading it. The reporter scores points with his publisher and readers, and he documents you saying something stupid forever.
Why would someone believe a Rolling Stone reporter when he tells you that what you are saying is off the record, any more than a reporter for 60 Minutes, the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times or the Washington Post? Rolling Stone quotes the general and his staff, and suddenly there is a change of leadership in America’s grinding war in Afghanistan! What power and influence! The president fires the general, and undoubtedly someone will nominate Michael Hastings, the Rolling Stone reporter, for the Pulitzer Prize.

According to the New York Times: “One Marine infantry lieutenant, during fighting in Marja this year, said he had all but stopped seeking air support while engaged in firefights. He spent too much time on the radio trying to justify its need, he said, and the aircraft never arrived or they arrived too late or the pilots were reluctant to drop their ordnance.”

Gen. McChrystal felt that “winning the minds and hearts” of the Afghan people was more important than killing the enemy.

Hopefully this will all change when Gen. David Petraeus takes over. If he allows his men to act like warriors instead of policemen, use battlefield rules of engagement instead of domestic police tactics, the entire war effort will change quickly in our favor. If this happens, you have Michael Hastings to thank.

It only made sense for the president to replace Gen. McChrystal with Gen. Petraeus. He obviously knows what he’s doing. Already, leaks to the press suggest that he will take a hard look at the current rules of engagement in Afghanistan and will probably change them to be more soldier-friendly.

Despite top Democrats calling him a liar during his testimony on the Iraq surge – including Hillary Clinton, Harry “This War Is Lost” Reid and the president himself when he was a senator – Gen. Petraeus prevailed in Iraq. Now he is suddenly the go-to guy to finally make things happen in Afghanistan. How ironic.

U.S. and Afghan Forces Flood Into Afghanistan's Kunar Province, Met With Heavy Taliban Resistance, 150 Taliban Killed

Even coming from a report from The Long War Journal, this latest U.S. operation in Afghanistan sounds like it was pretty damned hairy - when 700 U.S/Afghan troops were inserted into remote Kunar province meeting up with 200 Taliban who then called in reinforcements - the end result is an astounding number of Taliban dead ... 150.

From that report at The Long War Journal:

The Afghan Army and US military launched a major air assault yesterday in a remote district in eastern Afghanistan that borders Pakistan.

More than 700 US and Afghan troops were inserted by US Black Hawk helicopters into the Marawara district in Kunar province on Sunday and immediately came under fire from a large force of Taliban fighters, estimated at more than 200 men. Soon more Taliban fighters poured into the area to battle the battalion-sized assault force.

"Once the battle began, others from the area tried to maneuver into the area," Colonel Andrew Poppas, the US Army commander of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, told The Washington Post. "This was a tough fight."

The US military claimed that more than 150 Taliban fighters were killed in the attack during heavy fighting. Two US soldiers and one Afghan soldier were reported to have been killed during the assault.

The intense fighting ended earlier today, and US and Afghan forces are establishing security outposts in the remote district.

A couple of things I'd like to point out about this operation - although this sounds like a very intense battle and although I don't read any report of U.S. casualties, I'm guessing that a number of our troops in Afghanistan have been itching for this chance to let loose on the Taliban. At the same time, I can't imagine there could be this quick of a turnaround in strategy from General McChrystal's Afghan strategy, but look at this from the article:

It is unclear if the assault in Marawara marks a shift from the US' strategy of retreating from the remote outposts in eastern Afghanistan. Last fall, ISAF began withdrawing forces from remote districts in Nuristan and neighboring Kunar province as part of its new counterinsurgency plan that emphasizes securing major population centers over rural areas. According to ISAF commanders, the remote provinces of Nuristan and Kunar will be dealt with after more strategic regions in the south, east, and north have been addressed.

While US officials have viewed northeastern Afghanistan as less strategically significant than the south and east, the Taliban have seized on the opportunity to carve out safe havens in the region, which has facilitated the flow of insurgents into the region from Pakistan.

Now, this operation had to be approved by McChrystal before his resignation but it was McChrystal who had determined that U.S. troops needed to withdraw from the desolate areas of Afghanistan and focus more on the urban areas of Kabul and Kandahar. This makes me wonder about the influence of Petraeus even long before McChrystal's departure...it's almost seems like McChrystal knew he was going out and turned over the strategy weeks ago.

Afghan, US forces launch offensive in Kunar

The intense fighting ended earlier today, and US and Afghan forces are establishing security outposts in the remote district.

The US military announced the operation on Sunday but would not disclose details of the offensive to The Long War Journal, citing "operational security" concerns. Details of the operation in Kunar were later provided to The Washington Post by military officers in eastern Afghanistan.

On Sunday, the US military said that the operation targeted "al Qaeda and Taliban leadership in the area." The names of the al Qaeda and Taliban leaders were not disclosed, and no senior leaders have been reported killed or captured at this time.

Taliban commander Qari Zia Rahman is the group's top regional commander. Rahman operates in Kunar and neighboring Nuristan provinces, and also operates across the border in Pakistan's tribal agency of Bajaur. The Pakistani government claimed they killed Rahman in an airstrike earlier this year, but he spoke to the media and mocked Pakistan's interior minister for wrongly reporting his death.

Last fall, a US military official told The Long War Journal that the abandonment of these provinces would force the US and the Afghan military to retake the ground.

"Kunar and Nuristan have become magnets [for the Taliban and al Qaeda] in the northeast and we're eventually going to have to deal with that problem," the official said.

The withdrawal of US forces from the outposts in Kunar and neighboring Nuristan province over the past year has provided the Taliban with major propaganda victories. The Taliban released propaganda tapes showing large-scale assaults on the US outposts followed by scenes of the Taliban occupying the abandoned bases. Weapons and ammunition that had been hastily abandoned by US and Afghan forces were displayed by the Taliban in the tapes.

The outposts in Nuristan and Kunar were initially created in 2006 as part of a plan to establish a string of bases to interdict Taliban fighters and supplies moving across the border from Pakistan. But the plan was not completed, because US forces were diverted to the south in Kandahar after the Taliban began launching increasingly sophisticated attacks.

15 Jihadis In Afghanistan Killed When the Bombs They Are Making Inside a Mosque Blow Up

Well, I have to say that this is a first for me - linking to a story at Monsters & Critics but I don't see it anywhere else but it is one funny ass story as today, 15 jihadis in Afghanistan all died while making bombs to kill other people - their little bomb factory WAS INSIDE A MOSQUE and something went wrong and .....BOOM....all dead. : )

From the article:

Eight Arab, five Pakistani and two Afghan militants were killed when bombs they were making exploded prematurely inside a mosque in eastern Afghanistan, the Interior Ministry said Sunday.
The insurgents were assembling bombs in Desi Mosque of Yousifkhela district in the south-eastern province of Paktika on Friday, the ministry said.
Of course, we all know that mosques in Afghanistan are off limits to American troops due to Obama's ROE so I'm sure these clowns thought themselves pretty safe - I'm guessing that during the bomb making, one of the Paki Taliban made a wise crack about the Afghan and they got into a fight and the Arabs tried to get in the middle of it and ....well, you know the rest. Hahahaha. Sorry, but I can't get that picture out of my mind with the last sound in the room being a collective....."Oh Shit."

15 insurgents killed by their own bombs in Afghan mosque

Kabul - Eight Arab, five Pakistani and two Afghan militants were killed when bombs they were making exploded prematurely inside a mosque in eastern Afghanistan, the Interior Ministry said Sunday.

The insurgents were assembling bombs in Desi Mosque of Yousifkhela district in the south-eastern province of Paktika on Friday, the ministry said.

Pakika borders the Pakistani town of Wana, where Taliban militants are said to have training bases. Afghan officials have repeatedly blamed Islamabad for not doing enough to clamp down on cross-border infiltration by insurgents.

In the northern province of Kunduz, several Taliban fighters including a foreign insurgent commander were killed Saturday by a NATO airstrike in Chardarah district, NATO said on Sunday.

'After verifying insurgent activity and conducting careful planning to avoid civilian casualties and mitigate collateral damage, coalition aircraft were called in for the precision airstrike,' it said.

The targeted commander coordinated logistical support and operations 'with the Taliban's Pakistan foreign fighter cell leadership,' it said.

NATO also confirmed the death of one of its soldiers in a roadside explosion in southern Afghanistan on Saturday. The alliance had already reported the deaths of five more troops killed in separate attacks in the country on Saturday.

Saturday's deaths brought the total of foreign soldiers killed in the war this year to 309, compared with the 157 deaths registered between January and June of 2009, according to iCasualties.org.

U.S. Congresswoman Stands Up To Napolitano, Demands DHS Investigation of Hezbollah Infiltration of Arizona Border

As I have mentioned here time after time, there is one person in the U.S. House of Representatives who is unquestionably the supreme defender of America's security against islamic terror and that person is Rep. Sue Myrick of North Carolina. While the Obama administration is busy and all-consumed with finding ways to combat the gall of the State of Arizona to actually try to enforce the security of its border with Mexico against enemy invastion, Sue Myrick has cast the porous border in the light of an even more ominous threat - the threat of islamic terror group, Hezbollah, using the Arizona border as entry into America.

From the article at Fox News:

Iran-tied terror group Hezbollah may be colluding with drug cartels along the U.S.-Mexico border, a Republican congresswoman warned, calling on Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to establish a special task force to figure out how to "clamp down" on this "national security" threat.

In her letter to Napolitano, Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C., called on Homeland Security to find out and report more on the extent of the problem. She cited several troubling developments that would point to Hezbollah creeping closer to and inside the United States, with the help of Mexican drug gangs.

"It is vital we know what is happening on our border, especially as crime and violence continue to rise there and as terrorist plots and threats are increasing inside the U.S.," she wrote.

Myrick outlined a complex set of potential threats and evidence of their existence. She said "Iranian agents and members of Hezbollah" are thought to be learning Spanish in Hugo Chavez-run Venezuela before trying to obtain false documents to enter the United States as purported Mexicans. She said Hezbollah, known for its tunnel-digging skill, could be receiving drug money from cartel operations in exchange for help forging better tunnels across the U.S. border for trafficking.
Rep. Myrick has been called an "islamophobe" by every muslim organization in America including the likes of CAIR and we all know what that means - she's right on target with her concerns and warnings. The point of all of this is this - what will it finally take for the Obama administration to finally secure our border? Will it take a terrorist attack on America that kills hundreds, perhaps thousands of Americans, that can be traced to the unprotected border?

Allow me to be blunt. We have Department of Homeland Security forces keeping watch on the eastern seaboard for any aspect of islamic terror breaches at our seaports and airports, yet they totally ignore the ports of entry of the likes of Hezbollah in Arizona - all because the 2012 election looms ahead and Barack Hussein Obama needs an influx of potential new voters necessary to get him over the top for reelection.

At what point does it become necessary to remove a President for his inability to protect the citizens of America?

Congresswoman Raises Red Flag on Hezbollah-Cartel Nexus on U.S. Border

The Lebanon-based group has long-standing and documented ties to South America and its drug gangs, but reports have recently surfaced that it may be expanding its influence to Mexico and the U.S. border.

She said gang members in prisons in the American southwest are starting to show up with tattoos in Farsi, implying a "Persian influence that can likely be traced back to Iran and its proxy army, Hezbollah."

FoxNews.com has reached out to the Department of Homeland Security for comment on the numerous claims.

Myrick cited the opinions and findings of former intelligence officials and others in her detailed letter. One of them was a "high-ranking Mexican Army officer" whom she said believes Hezbollah could be training Mexican drug cartels to make bombs.

"This might lead to Israel-like car bombings of Mexican/USA border personnel or National Guard units," she wrote.

At a minimum, Hezbollah has a foothold in South America, according to official reports.

Anthony Placido, assistant administrator for intelligence at the Drug Enforcement Administration, told a House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee in March that the "drug and terrorism nexus" is strongest in the region where the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet. He said drugs from this region, which are cheaper than in other hot spots, "can be resold in other countries for large profits desired by those seeking funds to further terrorist activity such as Hezbollah."

He said some drug traffickers in the region have ties to the Lebanese terror group and have since the late 1980s or early 1990s.

"There are numerous reports of cocaine proceeds entering the coffers of Islamic Radical Groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas," he said, calling it "easy revenue" that can be used for terror attacks.

An April Congressional Research Service report on drug trafficking in Latin America cited that testimony.

A 2006 House Homeland Security Committee report further noted that Hezbollah members have already been caught entering the United States via Mexico, suggesting expanded activity. The report cited as one example the case of Mahmoud Youssef Kourani, the brother of a Hezbollah chief, who in 2005 pleaded guilty to providing material support to Hezbollah after being smuggled across the U.S.-Mexico border and settling in Dearborn, Mich.

The report raised red flags about the "dangerous intersection between traditional transnational criminal activities ... and more ominous threats to national security."

Welcome to Dearborn, Arabia

The following article from Family Security Matters does a stellar job of shedding more light on the shocking report coming out of Dearborn, Michigan where local police not only arrested some Christian men for handing out materials at a muslim festival but also confiscated their video equipment that recorded the police harassment.

There have been a lot of jokes about Dearborn, Michigan...perhaps you've heard the reference to "Dearbornistan" - those cracks have mostly been about the sheer number of muslims inhabiting that Michigan city but this latest debaucle reflects on just who is now running that city and the million dollar question: Has sharia law taken hold in Dearborn?

Exclusive: Welcome to Dearborn, Arabia

When I wrote about creeping Sharia in America back in January in my article “One Nation under Allah” I was called an “Islamophobe.” In March I co-wrote “Are we financing our own demise” with Joy Brighton, an expert in Sharia finance. For that, I was called an “alarmist.” Also in March I wrote an article in which I told the truth about the treatment of women who live under Sharia law and I was called a “racist”. In April I wrote about the amount of terror that stems from Islam. I was called a “hate monger”. Last week in my article “You’re doin’ fine Oklahoma” I wrote about the ban of Sharia in Oklahoma and was told I was “crazy” to believe that Sharia could ever happen here in America.

Well, to all my critics, welcome to Dearborn, Michigan.

According to the Thomas More Law Center news:

“ANN ARBOR, MI – In what some have described as police enforcement of Sharia law at the annual Dearborn Arab International Festival, last Friday night Dearborn Police Officers arrested four Christian missionaries and illegally confiscated their video cameras which were recording the events surrounding their arrests. The Thomas More Law Center, a public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, today announced it is representing all of the Christian missionaries.

Arrested on charges of Breach of the Peace are: Negeen Mayel, Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, Paul Rezkalla, and David Wood. Mayel, an eighteen year old female, whose parents emigrated from Afghanistan and a recent convert from Islam to Christianity, was also charged with failure to obey a police officer’s orders. She was approximately 100 feet away and videotaping a discussion with some Muslims when her camera was seized.

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, commented, “These Christian missionaries were exercising their Constitutional rights to free speech and the free exercise of religion, but apparently the Constitution carries little weight in Dearborn, where the Muslim population seems to dominate the political apparatus. It’s apparent that these arrests were a retaliatory action over the embarrassing video of the strong arm tactics used last year by Festival Security Guards. This time, the first thing police officers did before making the arrests was to confiscate the video cameras in order to prevent a recording of what was actually happening.”

Thompson continued, “Contrary to the comments made by Police Chief Ron Haddad, our Constitution does not allow police to ban the right of free speech just because there are some hecklers. Not all police officers approve of the way their department treated these Christians.”

Robert Muise, Senior Trial Counsel with the Law Center in charge of the case, yesterday faxed a letter to Chief Haddad demanding that the three video cameras and tapes illegally seized from the missionaries be immediately returned.”

As the time of writing this, their cameras have yet to be returned. I, for one, have to wonder if - when these cameras are returned - the memory cards will have mysteriously been wiped clean or disappeared.

In case as you were reading this, you missed it… The Chief of Police of Dearborn is Ronald Haddad. Yes, we can assume that Chief Haddad is a Muslim. Those that I have spoken to involved in this case have confirmed this.

Last Tuesday evening I was able to interview David Wood, one of those arrested, on the radio show “Radio Jihad” which I co-host weekly. David stated :

“Three of the four that were arrested were not even speaking to anyone at the time of the arrest, but they were just filming. They were standing on the sidewalk and not stopping anyone from coming or going or impeding pedestrian traffic.”

David also explained that:

“Two thirds of Dearborn, Michigan is Muslim.”

According to David’s website “Answering Muslims”:

“In Dearborn, they are giving one religion special status (establishment of religion), prohibiting the free exercise of our religion, preventing our freedom of speech, and denying our right to assemble peaceably. (And we haven't even gotten to other rights that were violated, such as having our cameras illegally seized, having a police department illegally retain information that exonerates us, having us wrongly charged and imprisoned, etc.)”

“We were arrested for having a peaceful dialogue with Muslims. The police claimed we were being disruptive. We invited them to view the video footage, which would prove our innocence. They refused, preferring to take us to jail when we had indisputable proof against the false charges. Police seized our cameras illegally, and have to this day refused to share the footage with us, footage that will completely exonerate us. Police Chief Ronald Haddad refuses to return our cameras; despite the fact that he knows we are innocent.”

Witnesses to the arrest reported some very disturbing things as well. A Coptic (Egyptian Christian) woman called Maria noted:

“A police officer had removed the camera from David and proceeded to handcuff him. I heard David calmly assure, "It’s okay. No big deal," while being handcuffed. All three men were escorted out of the group with their hands behind their backs. The police were carrying the cameras that Paul and David had been using. Neither of the arrested men resisted, and were very compliant as they were heading out of the crowd, to where the police had been stationed. People within the crowd were cheering, shouting "Allah akbar!" while clapping and shouting. The police continued walking out of the group. When a single man shouted "Jesus is Lord!" one officer who had already passed him, came back and told him to "be quiet". Neither of the officers said anything to the crowd of Muslims that were cheering, while shouting "Allah akbar!" After taking Paul, David, and Nabeel to the parking lot where the police were stationed, many security guards had followed and formed two groups. A smaller group of around three security guards were standing closer to the police. A larger group of around five security guards were farther away. Paul, David, and Nabeel were put into a van and taken away.”

So, let me get this straight. David, Paul, Nabeel and Negeen were arrested and charged with “Breach of the peace” for standing and speaking to people that came up to themand filming, but the people that screamed “Allah akbar” were not? And, the gentleman that yelled “Jesus is Lord” was told to be quiet by the police? Yeah, and I’m the “crazy” one.

After they were released the group went back to the festival and stayed outside on the sidewalk and attempted to hand out pamphlets of the Gospel of John in English with Arabic translation. Not three minutes went by before the police again stopped them. Here is the link to that video.

The last time I checked, The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution states:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

For purposes of comparison, under Sharia law:

“Non-Muslims are not allowed to proclaim their beliefs to Muslims and Muslims are forbidden to leave Islam, leaving Islam is “apostasy” with the possible penalty of death”.

What Constitution are the Dearborn police following? Do we really have to wonder whether or not Sharia is here? In an earlier article - “How Do You Plead, Guilty or Not Guilty? ‘I Plead Muslim!’” I pointed out that States within the U.S. were setting precedents in our judicial system for Sharia law. Once again, I was told I was crazy to ever think that Sharia law would be allowed in our system of justice due to our Constitution. A lawyer friend of mine who is a Professor of Constitutional law told me:

“Sharia is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution, it can never happen.”

Well, he is correct about one thing; Sharia is not compatible with our Constitution.

As if our Constitution being trampled is not enough, Police Chief Ronald Haddad was recently appointed to serve on the Homeland Security Advisory Council, which provides advice and recommendations to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on matters related to homeland security. Well, once again, I guess I am the crazy one.

I have been warning and writing and speaking about this for years, I urged you all to speak up and speak out. I said that we in America only have to look at the U.K. or Europe to see where we are headed if something is not done soon and now it has happened.

I am not proud to say “I warned you”, it is here people, Sharia in America. Our Nation that was founded on Judeo-Christian values and principals has now seen the arrest of four people for exercising their rights at an Arab festival.

What are you going to do about it? Contact your Representatives, call the Mayor of Dearborn? You can contact the Dearborn office of the Mayor at 313-943-2300 or Dearborn Police Department at 313-943-2240.

Hitler wrote:

“You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?”

You choose which way you want to live, while you still can.

CIA Director Panetta: Iran Has Enough Uranium For Two Nukes, Sanctions Won't Work

Typical brilliant coordination of policy once again in the Obama administration as Barack Hussein Obama's own CIA Director, Leon Panetta, has described how sanctions against Iran won't work yet his boss, continues down that path as the solution.

Here's some of what Panetta told ABC from the report at The Jerusalem Post:

CIA Director Leon Panetta said Sunday that Iran probably has enough low-enriched uranium for two nuclear weapons, but that it likely would take two years to build the bombs.Panetta told ABC television's "This Week" that he is doubtful that recent UN penalties will put an end to Iran's nuclear ambitions.
He said the penalties could help to weaken Tehran's government by creating serious economic problems. But he added, "Will it deter them from their ambitions with regards to nuclear capability? Probably not."Panetta commented that there is "some debate" as to whether Iran will proceed with the bomb.

So, finally...the CIA of the United States of America finally admits that U.N. and Western sanctions against Iran won't work, aren't working and won't EVER work - meanwhile Obama and the rest of them have given the Iranians another year and a half to complete their entry into Armageddon.

And look at that last line from Panetta - "some debate" about whether Iran will proceed with nuclear bombs? Are you bloody serious? Let me ask you all this...are you comfortable with a CIA Director, the man with his fingers on the best intelligence in the world, who isn't sure if the Iranians, the directing force behind 30% of islamic terror in this world, will move forward with nuclear weapons?

You know, I've objected to several U.S. Presidents in my lifetime - especially Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton but I never asked this question once about them: "Does this President actually feel he has any responsibility to protect the American people?" Not once did I ask that of Bill Clinton, who I detested...but I do ask it now of Obama.

Panetta: Iran has uranium for 2 bombs

CIA Director Leon Panetta said Sunday that Iran probably has enough low-enriched uranium for two nuclear weapons, but that it likely would take two years to build the bombs.

Panetta told ABC television's "This Week" that he is doubtful that recent UN penalties will put an end to Iran's nuclear ambitions.

He said the penalties could help to weaken Tehran's government by creating serious economic problems. But he added, "Will it deter them from their ambitions with regards to nuclear capability? Probably not."

Panetta commented that there is "some debate" as to whether Iran will proceed with the bomb.

Asked about a potential Israeli military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, Panetta said he thinks Israel is giving the US room on the diplomatic and political fronts.

CIA director Leon Panetta also spoke Sunday about North Korea and said that he doesn't think the skirmishes involving North Korea will lead to a military confrontation on the Korean peninsula.

International investigators concluded last month that North Korea torpedoed a South Korean warship near the Korean sea border. North Korea has denied the allegation and warned any punishment would trigger war.

Panetta told ABC television's "This Week" that for many years, "we've been going through these kinds of provocations and skirmishes with a rogue regime."
Panetta said that in the end, "they always back away from the brink and I think they'll do that now."

He said the attack could be related to who might succeed North Korean leader Kim Jong Il — possibly his youngest son.

The War Brewing on the Arizona Border - Holger Guest Post from RidesAPaleHorse

This is an excellent article put up over at DBKP by RidesAPaleHorse - I encourage everyone to go over there and get the full effect of it. I wanted to excerpt most of the article here as it does a great job of detailing just how serious things are along our border with Mexico.

While Obama Readies Arizona Suit, Another War Brews on the Border

There is a war brewing on our border.

“Mexican gangs have “permanent lookouts” in the United States?

Arizona law enforcement targeted by snipers?

What the Hell does that mean and why is it being allowed to happen? The citizens of Arizona have to do the job that the federal government is responsible for? And then the talk lately of “vigilante justice” or just plain “vigilantes” which is absolutely sickening. These aren’t vigilantes, they are patriots. Citizens protecting themselves from an invasion by a foreign country.

The citizens of Arizona have had enough. YOU’D BETTER START LISTENING UP OBAMA or you’re going to find yourself in a position that will make the oil spill and all of your other self-inflicted problems combined look like a Sunday afternoon Girl Scout picnic. You have aroused the ire of the citizens of this country and especially the citizens of Arizona and the other border states with your ignorance, arrogance and incompetence. Study your history. The American people will NOT put up with much more of your inaction, appeasement, socialist agenda and disdain for the people of this great country.

You have insulted our allies, bowed to despots (and mayors) and more importantly, you have insulted the people YOU SWORE TO PROTECT. You are guilty of dereliction of duty and interference in an individual states affairs by taking an AMERICAN STATE to court over a law that YOU SWORE TO UPHOLD.

The office you hold is not yours to use to force ANY state or individual to bow to your whim. You are nothing more than a childish, self serving, selfish, self styled tin horn “dictator” and the American people threw off MUCH better than you two hundred thirty-some years ago.

Your arrogance and ignorance of the will of the people is arousing a rebellion the likes of which you will not want to experience. Your ignorance of American history blinds you to what the people are capable of when pushed too far. You have put this country in a tenuous, dangerous position globally, making us weaker by ignoring the problems that face us.

The problems that relate to our safety and security, not to mention the environmental damage you claim to be so sensitive to, along with demonizing the citizens of this country who, by YOUR incompetence and inability to deal with the very real problems on our southern border, have been forced into taking the situation into their own hands.

Should the blood of just one more patriot defending his home or his state such as Arizona rancher Robert Krentz who was murdered at the hands of this scum on his own property without even being able to defend himself, or one law enforcement officer be shed, YOU will be held responsible. You are already responsible for Robert Krentz murder. His blood is on your hands as will the blood of other American citizens be.

Mexican gangs with lookout posts IN ARIZONA??? Mexican snipers?? What in Hell is the matter with you? Are you so intent on “fundamentally transforming” this country that you will allow this? An ARMED incursion across our southern border and death threats to law enforcement and YOU ALLOW THIS???

If so, then you are a traitor in the purest sense of the word and should be treated as such. You are in direct violation of the Constitution by denying the citizens of Arizona the right to “be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects” as outlined in the Fourth Amendment, in addition to your failure to respect Article IV Sec.4 of the Constitution regarding the “guarantee to EVERY (individual) state a republican form of government and shall protect each of them (including Arizona) against INVASION”.

AND your failure “To provide for the calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and REPEL INVASIONS” (Article 1 Sec. 8 of the Constitution)

You are also in violation of Article III Sec. 3 of the Constitution in that, by allowing these outposts to exist you are indirectly giving “Aid and Comfort” to an invading force, the enemy. You have, at the very least, allowed a potential state of war to exist on our own sovereign soil and have done nothing to defend or support those in the line of fire. Abandonment and persecution of the people you were sworn to protect makes “Traitor” seems appropriate.

I must add, you are not only a traitor but a seditionist as well. That you are IN FACT, guilty of “overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that is deemed by the legal authority as tending toward insurrection against the established order” We The People being the legal authority and states rights being the “established order”.

“Subversion of a constitution” and “incitement of discontent (or resistance) to lawful authority” which you have done by demonizing the people of and filing suit against, the state of Arizona. You have, in fact, created a “commotion, though not aimed at direct and open violence against the laws” (of the state of Arizona) all of which are part of the very definition of sedition. You have, in essence, declared war on one of our own states by these actions and you WILL be held accountable.

Do you know what THIS is, Obama?

Probably not. Let me educate you. This is an A-10 Warthog close air support WAR plane. It has a REALLY big gun and is designed to administer death and destruction on a monumental scale. Just ONE of the weapons you have in your arsenal. You have a LOT of these.

In the very capable hands of one of the warriors you seem to despise, this invasion of our country, the “permanent” Mexican gang “lookout” positions could become not so “permanent” in just one pass. The only thing permanent about their lookout positions would be that they would stay out of here permanently if they knew that encountering one of these was their fate.

Redeem yourself. Defend this country. Respect its citizens. Get off the golf course. Quit brown nosing rock stars. Quit spending money WE DON’T HAVE. Quit trying to impress every lowlife dictator and despot by apologizing and showing your ignorance and subservience by bowing and scraping and concentrate on serving THIS country. Apologize to the citizens of THIS country for your despicable behavior if you feel the need to apologize to someone.

Park Air Force One for awhile. MEchelle can wait awhile for her next date night.

With any luck, the country will still be functional, the opera, the restaurants and golf courses will still be there, maybe, when you are canned from this job in 2012 (or sooner) but of course you’ll have to do all that on your own dime. Grow up. Step away from the mirror. You’re really not that pretty anyway but……….you are (unfortunately) The President of The United States.

In short, learn what that means and DO THE DAMNED JOB YOU WERE HIRED TO DO!

The Good News: U.S. Predator Strike Kills 5 Jihadis In North Waziristan The Bad News: AP Reporter Corrupts Story

First of all, there is a reason to celebrate the second day in a row of U.S. predator drone strikes in North Waziristan as today 5 more Taliban/al Qaeda were turned to red mist by hellfire missiles.

But, as most of you have noticed over the months, most of my blogposts about these UAV strikes normally come from The Long War Journal or DAWN but this report comes from Breitbart which is using an AP writer's account and boy oh boy, this AP reporter must have half his family working in the Taliban ranks. Let's look at this story from the AP and I'll break it down piece by piece to show the bias.

First, the headline of the article:

Suspected US missile strike kills 5 in NW Pakistan

Okay, not horrible but obviously NO mention of the fact that the 5 were Taliban or al Qaeda or militants.

Now, the first line of the article:

Pakistani officials say a suspected U.S. missile strike on a house has killed five people near the Afghan border.

Oh boy, now there are some serious issues with this sentence. First of all, this AP writer purposely uses the term "house" - in 99% of the other reporting media, this "house" will be referred to as a "Taliban compound" or "compound" or "training camp" - but oh no, this AP writer wants to create the illusion that this was a civilian house. Now, let's address this: "killed five people." Whoa! So, if we read that the way that this AP writer wants us to, the U.S. slammed a civilian house with hellfires and killed five ordinary Pakistani civilians - clearly an atrocity of war right? It must be a war crime, yes? LOL No, this putz left out the word options of "killed five militants" or "killed five Taliban" or "killed five al Qaeda" or "killed five suspected terrorists" or "killed five enemy combatants." What a bloody joke.

The AP writer for this story is RASOOL DAWAR - I'd like to ask Mr. Dawar just how many U.S. predator drone attacks in the past year in North Waziristan have been determined to have killed civilians and how many have killed Taliban/al Qaeda? How many strikes like this have been protested by the Pakistani government or military? ZERO, putz. So, after over a hundred such UAV strikes in North Waziristan, all of the targets were confirmed to have killed enemy combatants, this AP writer STILL can't bring himself to describe the targets as anything more than "people." And you thought America was the only place in which journalism had died.

Suspected US missile strike kills 5 in NW Pakistan

MIR ALI, Pakistan (AP) - Pakistani officials say a suspected U.S. missile strike on a house has killed five people near the Afghan border.
Noor Ahmed, a senior government official in North Waziristan, says Sunday's attack occurred near Miran Shah, the main town in the rugged tribal area. He says tribesmen have recovered five bodies so far.

Two intelligence officials confirmed the attack in the village of Tabbi Tolkhel. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.

The identities of those killed in the attack were unknown.

North Waziristan is home to Taliban and al-Qaida militants who stage attacks against NATO troops in Afghanistan and against targets inside Pakistan.

Christian Professor in Pakistan Beaten by Islamic Students After He Refuses To Convert to Islam

You know, this ideology of islam, really needs some work on their promotional ideas - the latest marketing attempt to grow the ranks of islamists in the world amounted to a gang of Pakistani university students beating the ever living shit out of a Christian professor (and then his wife) who refused to convert to islam. From the article at Continental News:

Muslim students attacked a Christian professor at the University of Peshawar this month after he refused their demand to convert to Islam, the instructor told Compass.
Psychology professor Samuel John, a father of four who has been teaching at the university in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province for 12 years, said that as he came out of his house on the university campus at 8:30 a.m. on June 14, about 20 to 25 students rushed and assaulted him.
“I shouted for help, but no one came to help,” he said.
When his wife learned what was happening, she ran to help him, but the students beat her as well. Both John and his wife were rushed to Lady Reading hospital, where they were treated for their injuries, with John listed in critical condition.

I'm curious - do these muslim students in Pakistan put this beating down on their resume' when they go out into the world looking for work? Let's see, Christians and Jews get assaulted for not converting to islam, we get attacked for ignoring islam, we get terrorized for criticizing islam and we get back-stabbed for condoning islam. Kind of hard to win with these clowns, wouldn't you say?

Christian Professor in Pakistan Beaten for Refusing to Convert

Christian Professor in Pakistan Beaten for Refusing to Convert. In another province, three eighth-grade students expelled for declining Islam.

“I am still getting threats,” the professor told Compass. “They say, ‘Leave the university or accept Islam – if you don’t convert, we will kill your family.”

Police have refused to register a First Information Report on the incident, he said.

A group of five students had visited John on May 15, he said.

“They said, ‘Professor, you are a good teacher and a good human being, please convert to Islam and we will provide you with everything you need,’” John said. “I was surprised and said, ‘Why do you want me to convert? I am a Christian, and Jesus Christ is my Savior – He provides me with everything.”

One of the students became angry, saying, “Don’t forget that you are a family man,” John said. “I said, ‘I am not scared of anyone, God will protect me and my family.’”

He reported the matter to the dean of the University of Peshawar, but the official was unable to take any action because the Islamic students councils are supported by political parties and powerful Islamic groups, the professor said.

His family became worried, and other professors spoke of going on strike on John’s behalf, demanding an apology from the students who threatened him.

“They said, ‘This is a university, no one will be allowed to take the law in their hands – we are professors and teach everyone and do not discriminate by religion, caste, creed or color,’” John said.

But no action was taken against anyone. John subsequently faced various forms of harassment from different Islamic student groups who threw stones at his home, sent threatening letters and threatened his family over the phone, he said.

John had recently been honored with an award for best results in psychology at colleges throughout Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province. Muslim professors and Muslim student councils were upset that a Christian professor was getting so much attention, Christian sources said.

Students Pressured
Separately, in Danna village in southern Punjab Province, Muslim administrators told three Christian students in the eighth grade to leave the school because they refused to convert to Islam.

A new teacher of Islamic Studies who came from another village to Government High School Danna urged students in his class, Sunil Masih, Shazia Masih and Nasir Naeem, to convert to Islam, according to the father of Sunil, Ejaz Masih.

The teacher, whom the parents declined to name, is also a Muslim leader.

“The teacher began by saying, ‘Sunil, Shazia and Nasir, convert to Islam – it is the true religion, and you will go straight to heaven,” Ejaz Masih said.
The students reported the pressure to their parents, who came to the school and complained to the principal.

The principal asked the teacher to explain the details of what happened, but other staff members at the school supported the new teacher, Masih said. On June 16, under pressure from other teachers, the principal told the parents to remove their children from the school unless they were willing to convert to Islam.
“We have been forced to leave the village,” Masih said. “The police have refused to help us. We are helpless here.”

Masih, along with Sohail Masih and Naeem Boota, parents of the other children, have fled the village with their families. Their children were the only Christian students at the school.

Obama Administration Quick To Condemn Kurdish "Terror" Against Turkey, Still Silent About Pali Terrorism Against Israel

You know, it's pretty darn simple. The Obama administration has toned down any criticism of palestinian terror attacks against Israel to the point that some outsiders have accused them of actually siding with the likes of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Fatah, but yet this week, the Obama administration was LIGHTNING LIKE in their support of Turkey and the condemnation of Kurdish rebels.

Am I the only one that sees the hypocrisy of this?

From the report at Israel National News:

The United States is taking sides with Turkey on the issue of the Kurdish struggle for freedom.

Kurdish rebels blew up a military bus in Istanbul on Wednesday, killing four people in a daring attack likely to intensify the conflict between Turkish occupation forces and Kurdish resistance fighters. The attack came in the wake of a violent weekend in which 12 Turkish soldiers and policemen were killed by Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) guerrillas, who have recently stepped up resistance efforts in areas of northern Kurdistan currently occupied by Turkey.

The United States ambassador to Turkey, meanwhile, released a statement earlier this week that America supports Turkey's efforts to clamp down on Kurdish resistance fighters and is ready to "urgently" consider any new request for help from Ankara. "We stand ready to review urgently any new requests from the Turkish military or government regarding the PKK," Ambassador James Jeffrey said in a written statement on Monday.

"The PKK is a common enemy of both Turkey and the U.S. and we actively support the efforts of our Turkish allies to defeat this terrorist threat," Jeffrey said, stressing that "there has been no change in the level of U.S.-Turkey intelligence sharing regarding the PKK in northern Iraq."

The United States has reportedly been supplying Turkey, a NATO ally, with intelligence on rebel movements in northern Iraq, used particularly in Turkish air raids on PKK hideouts and Kurdish civilian areas in the region.
So, let's just make sure we have this straight - the Obama administration has worked to abandon Israel in its struggle against neighboring enemy states and terrorist groups, but they are assisting Turkey with its struggle against the neighboring Kurds - ummm, those same Kurds in northern Iraq that helped U.S. troops battle al Qaeda. Got it?

I'd like to just remind everyone that Barack Hussein Obama was also lightning quick in removing the missile defense initiative from our ally, Poland, but has done nothing to remove nuclear weapon development from islamic Iran.

I'm starting to think that Barack Hussein Obama likes these islamic terrorist nations more than our tried and true decades old allies....how about you?

In addition to responding with harsh military operations against the Kurds, Turkey has attempted to deflect blame for the violence from its occupation of Kurdistan to Israeli intrigue in the region. Turkish sources told the Jordanian daily al-Majd on Monday that its security forces are investigating a Mossad connection to the PKK attacks on a Turkish airbase that took place on May 31. Israel denies any involvement.

The sources further claimed that the Turkish security apparatuses had recently thwarted an assassination attempt on Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan by Mossad-connected Kurdish rebels.

The Qatari daily al-Sharq also reported on Wednesday that media elements in Turkey were attempting to link the upsurge in PKK attacks to Turkey's anti-Israel positions on the Gaza blockade and on Iran's nuclear ambitions.

US Supports Turkish Anti-Kurd Efforts

Israel and the Kurds
The Kurds - whose country is currently occupied by Iraq, Turkey, Iran and Syria - are a non-Arab Middle Eastern nation who generally hold pro-Israel views. During the reign of Saddam Hussein, who killed over 5000 Kurds in poison gas attacks, Israel helped the Kurds in their battle for independence from Iraq.

Since 1984, the PKK has been engaged in a war of liberation for the mainly Kurdish-populated territories that make up the north of historic Kurdistan but currently exist as Turkey’s southeast. The war for Kurdish independence has since claimed roughly 45,000 lives, with Kurds making up the vast majority of casualties.

They Weren't Invented in the 1960's
"Every time Syria, Turkey, Iran or Iraq - and now America too - talk about the 'occupation' of Palestinians, we should be throwing the Kurdistan issue in their faces," said Israeli activist Benny Katz. "The Kurds weren't invented, as the Palestinians were, in the 1960's. They are an ancient nation deserving of their homeland.

The PKK has demanded an end to all discrimination in Turkish laws against ethnic Kurds, hoping instead to be granted full political freedoms. The party has also demanded Turkey’s recognition of the Kurds’ identity in its constitution and of their language as a native language along with Turkish in Kurdish populated areas. Most Kurds currently living under Turkish occupation openly sympathize with the PKK despite it being considered a ‘terrorist’ organization by both Ankara and Washington.
