Okay, with all of the fervor going on right now about the firing of Juan Williams by NPR because the islamic terrorists at CAIR whined and threw a tantrum on the doorstep of NPR headquarters, I wanted to address something that Williams and Bill O'Reilly said in that interview. Here's what Juan Williams said:
"there are good Muslims."
You see, CAIR got Williams fired for supposedly agreeing with "profiling" muslims on airplanes but most of the interview, Williams defended muslims and then threw out that line to O'Reilly that "there are good Muslims."
Okay. I want to know what a "good" muslim is? How do you differentiate between a "good" muslim and an "extreme radical terrorist muslim?" Well? Okay, some might offer up this - a good muslim goes about his daily affairs...work, worship, societal interaction in a peaceful manner and a radical muslim terrorist blows people up. Well, let's look at that statement and then consider the person of Faisal Shahzad - we all know Shahzad as the failed "Times Square Bomber" who was just sentenced to life in prison for his attempt to blow up a bunch of people with a car bomb in New York City's Times Square.
Now, let me ask you a question. The day before Faisal Shahzad went about loading his vehicle up with explosives and timers and igniters, couldn't Faisal Shahzad have been considered a "good" muslim? He worked, he interacted in society...he didn't act violently...he was just your normal muslim American. Right?
Let's look back to the two muslim doctors in Britain who tried to bomb the airport in Glasgow. The day before they drove their SUV into a barricade at that airport and set off propane tanks in the rear of it, those doctors were practicing medicine in London. So, the day before the attack they were "good" muslims, the day of the attack they become "radical terrorists" , right?
So, you are at the grocery store and in front of you is a muslim woman in full hijab - she smiles at you and makes room for your groceries on the checkout counter. You think to yourself, now THERE's a good muslim! What happens to your perception when you find out a couple of weeks later that this woman in front of you at the store assisted in a suicide bombing? That she is the one that actually sewed the explosives into the vest and custom fitted it for the attacker. At what point did she go from "good" to "bad?"
Here's the deal. Muslims follow the Qur'an. The Qur'an calls for jihad. So, when you worship the Qur'an, you worship jihad. When you agree that the Qur'an is the direct word of allah, you agree to all the words in that book. How many "good" muslims have you witnessed that have come out and adamantly denounced islamic terror attacks in America and across the world? Seriously, out of all of the millions of muslims in America, JUST HOW MANY HAVE GONE ON TV to denounce islamic terror? Certainly, a "good" muslim is one that we believe abhors terrorism but yet, we NEVER see one denounce it. Do we?
It's about time we get the perspective correct. The enemy is not the person. The enemy is not the jihadi. The enemy is the fake religion. The enemy is the ideology. The enemy is the words that command jihad and violent domination of infidels. But to think you have this large percentage of muslims who DISAGREE WITH THE QUR'AN, is assinine. By the way, those muslims who disagree with the Qur'an are apostates and are considered worthy of death sentences.
So, instead of everyone coming to Juan Williams' defense that he went out of his way to qualify his statements by explaining how the vast majority of muslims are "good" muslims...perhaps we need to point out what an erroneous perception Mr. Williams has on that count.

I agree Holger, who are the 'good ones'? How do you know they will stay 'good'? Lie cheat and steal if it is for islam. How can you trust them? Don't tell me they won't protest as they are a quiet lot, just show them a pic of ole moe and watch the shit hit the fan. "radical Islam" has been going on for much longer than I've been here but I didn't pay attention to them until 9-11. Then I spent time learning and the more I learned the less there was to like. Even Juan knows islam has a serious problem. I pay taxes and NPR recieves tax money. Stealing money from those that would not donate to it. But the gov't knows what is best LOL.
Wonderful post! Finally someone who agrees with me.
Holger, you are my new favorite blog.
