I just ran across this from later yesterday's posting over at Family Security Matters where U.S. officials have gleaned from intelligence and "chatter" that the Pakistani Taliban and their linked terror organizations claim that they have another operative inside of America ready to try and pull off a similar attack like Faisal Shahzad, the Times Square Bomber attempted.
The posting is very brief but I would have to say that we have to treat this report as very real. I don't know how many of you saw the video I put up a few weeks ago of the FBI's demonstration of what would have been the result if Shahzad's car had actually exploded in Times Square but it's a chilling reminder that if this new threat is successful, we are going to be looking at some real death tolls.
From the article:
Which brings me to this...look at the headline for this blogpost one more time and imagine this is taking place back in 2004 or 2005. If you were back in that time frame, wouldn't this be ALL OVER the MSM? Wouldn't people be talking about it at the water cooler in the office? And yet, here we are under the second year of the Obama administration and it's like commonplace to us. How much real coverage did the Times Square attempted bombing get? Was that the lead story on your local news when it happened or was it the trial of Lindsay Lohan?
And just the other day it was reported that Barack Hussein Obama told Bob Woodward that the U.S. could absorb another terror attack. How things have changed. I don't know about you, but I am one who will not accept this terrorism and terror threats in America. This President of ours has not only threatened the security of the American people but he is doing his best to minimize the possible end result of it. I want you to imagine the press conference of Barack Hussein Obama the day after another "Times Square" type bomber is successful and has killed 80 innocent Americans on the streets of a major American city. I want you to image what Obama would say....wouldn't it be something like this: "I want to say that my administration is shocked at this attack on America. And I want to make one thing perfectly clear, we will work hard to see that we better control these man-made disasters."
Wouldn't that be about it? I imagine so. I want an explanation, folks. I want to know directly from Janet Napolitano how in the hell, just months after the Times Square incident, that another Pakistan-trained jihadist is loose on our streets. I want an admission from this bitch that her decision to downplay islamic terror in this country has led to an open season on our people.

From the article:
Senior U.S. officials are concerned over recent intelligence indicating that the Pakistani Taliban, which orchestrated the failed Times Square bombing, may have successfully placed another operative inside the United States to launch a second attack, sources tell Fox News. Authorities, however, know very little about the potential operative or any possible plot.
"[We] don't know who it is and don't know where it is," one source said. "We know the guy's here, but don't know anything about him." Based on the intelligence, authorities believe the Pakistani Taliban, also known as Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan, would have directed the individual to attempt another Times Square-style operation, but not necessarily in New York City...

"We know the guy's here, but don't know anything about him."
There's ONE of the problems right there. "Him"???
As in singular? Bravo Sierra.
A little paranoia never hurt anyone. No paranoia does.
Good one Holger.
