The Mask Finally Comes Off - America Has Elected a Jihadi President...Obama Backs Ground Zero Mosque

I was just in a conservative chat room two days ago and I was asking the question of everyone there: "Has Obama said ONE WORD about the Ground Zero mosque?!" And of course, at that moment, he hadn't...but even I can underestimate the jihadi-appeasement of this President of ours....even I forgot the dramatic flair of Barack Hussein Obama and how he would try to capitalize on the onset of Ramadan with a message to the muslims of this world that he has offered up the United States of America on a platter to the world of islam.

The President of the United States of America today surrendered America to radical islamic terror. From the story at Breitbart:

"As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country," Obama said, weighing in for the first time on a controversy that has riven New York City and the nation.

"That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances," he said. "This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable."

Obama made the comments at an annual dinner in the White House State Dining Room celebrating the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

As most of you regular Holger readers know by now, I'm never at a loss for words on nearly any subject but I must say, this latest revelation has left my mouth agape. The fact that Obama literally sat on his hands for weeks and weeks while this controversy tore at the very core of America ...only for Obama to finally open his mouth because it happened to be a timely Ramadan event is beyond the pale.

I don't have to tell most of you, that I am livid. I am beyond livid. This man, this piece of shit that an uninformed America put into the White House, this Marxist islamic terrorism appeaser has crossed the line, at least with me. I've sat threw the apologies he's made abroad for our great Country. I've sat threw Obama accusing our patriotic troops in Afghanistan of doing nothing but bombing Afghan civilians. I've sat threw this communist masquerader shoving Obamacare, Stimulus and government takeover of industry down my throat. I've sat threw this man suing a State for trying to protect their citizens from rape, kidnap and murder. I've sat threw a lot. And now this was shoved in my face tonight. The same man that decided that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed should have a public trial has now decided to fully shit on the memories of our fallen brothers and citizens, our dead heroic firefighters and police officers.

Let's make this point clear. This is a man, Barack Hussein Obama, who has done everything in his power to piss on our U.S. Constitution. Even before his actual election, Barack Hussein Obama decided to test America's resolve by challenging the Constitution's guidelines for Presidential qualification and since that time he has consistently strived to bend and break the Constitution of this country. Yet today, Obama is trying to hide behind it and the principles of America in order to support his friends - the islamic terrorists who attacked this country and who today, conspire to bring Shariah Law and domination to this country.

I'm beyond anger here. I'm enraged. I knew all along, obviously, that Obama supported the Cordoba initiative and the Ground Zero mosque but even I didn't expect this blatant a public blessing of it. Let's make no bones about this statement from Obama...Barack Hussein Obama tonight referred to the blood-soaked sacred ground of Ground Zero as "lower manhattan" - I cannot think of a more vile way to insult the loss this Country experienced that day on 9/11/01. This man has disgraced the lives of those innocents and those heroes and glorified the minions of Satan who attacked our Republic that fateful day.

This President is a threat to America. He has shown this in many ways over his short Presidency. But today, Barack Hussein Obama, made a monumental and yes, historic, choice. Barack Hussein Obama, on Friday the 13th, on the first day of Islam's Ramadan holiday, chose Islam over the United States of America. Today, our President sided with islamic terrorists over innocent and dead American civilians.

Many of you remember Michelle Obama's famous words: "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country...." Well, tonight I think tens of millions of Americans will more than likely state that for the first time in their adult lifetimes, they are alienated from their own President. They will stand up and simply say, "this is not MY President." And I join them. This is a dark day for the Home of the Brave.

Obama backs mosque near ground zero

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama on Friday forcefully endorsed allowing a mosque near ground zero, saying the country's founding principles demanded no less.

The White House had not previously taken a stand on the mosque, which would be part of a $100 million Islamic center two blocks from where nearly 3,000 people perished when hijacked jetliners slammed into the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001. Press secretary Robert Gibbs had insisted it was a local matter.

It was already much more than that, sparking debate around the country as top Republicans including Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich announced their opposition. So did the Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish civil rights group.

Obama elevated it to a presidential issue Friday without equivocation.

While insisting that the place where the twin towers once stood was indeed "hallowed ground," Obama said that the proper way to honor it was to apply American values.

"Our capacity to show not merely tolerance, but respect towards those who are different from us—and that way of life, that quintessentially American creed, stands in stark contrast to the nihilism of those who attacked us on that September morning, and who continue to plot against us today," he said.

Obama harkened back to earlier times when the building of synagogues or Catholic churches also met with opposition. "But time and again, the American people have demonstrated that we can work through these issues, and stay true to our core values and emerge stronger for it," he said. "So it must be and will be today."

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, an independent who has been a strong supporter of the mosque, welcomed Obama's words as a "clarion defense of the freedom of religion."

But some Republicans were quick to pounce.

"President Obama is wrong," said Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y. "It is insensitive and uncaring for the Muslim community to build a mosque in the shadow of ground zero. While the Muslim community has the right to build the mosque they are abusing that right by needlessly offending so many people who have suffered so much."

Entering the highly charged election-year debate, Obama surely knew that his words would not only make headlines but be heard by Muslims worldwide. The president has made it a point to reach out to the global Muslim community, and the over 100 guests at Friday's dinner included ambassadors and officials from numerous Muslim nations, including Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. Seated around candlelit tables, they listened closely as Obama spoke, then stood and applauded when the president finished his remarks.

While his pronouncement concerning the mosque might find favor in the Muslim world, Obama's stance runs counter to the opinions of the majority of Americans, according to polls. A CNN/Opinion Research poll released this week found that nearly 70 percent of Americans opposed the mosque plan while just 29 percent approved. A number of Democratic politicians have shied away from the controversy.

The group behind the $100 million project, the Cordoba Initiative, describes it as a Muslim-themed community center. Early plans call not only for prayer space but for a swimming pool, culinary school, art studios and other features. Developers envision it as a hub for interfaith interaction, as well as a place for Muslims to bridge some of their faith's own schisms.

Opponents, including some Sept. 11 victims' relatives, see the prospect of a mosque so near the destroyed trade center as an insult to the memory of those killed by Islamic terrorists in the 2001 attacks. Some of the Sept. 11 victims' relatives, however, are in favor.

The mosque has won approval from local planning boards but faces legal challenges, and New York's Conservative Party is planning a television ad campaign to pressure a New York City utility to use its power to block the project.

What about rebuiding the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church that was destroyed 911?

What is it about some people that causes them to hate and oppress their own society and think it elevates them to do so? I just do not get it.

I watched Starship Troopers III for the hell of it the other night, mainly because I couldn't believe they made another one..but there is a parallel here with the plot. The dear leader figure in that movie got religion - the religion of the bug enemies and it nearly led to the downfall of the heroes.

When I heard the quote over the radio, late last night, I thought to my self: I've been up too late.

Being bone tired, surely play tricks on your ears.

What about the mosque in the Pentagon - where is the outrage?

You are so cute when you're angry Holger. I love it when you freak out.

Two blocks from Ground Zero IS known as Lower Manhattan. There is a strip club closer Ground Zero than this mosque, one with some skanky "dancers" I might add. How far does one need to get from Ground Zero before you go from sacred ground to just regular old tough, gritty NYC?

Private property rights and freedom of religion are part of our national fabric, whether its convenient or not.

You know what will change in this country when this mosque is up and running - not a damn thing.

Happy Ramadan!

Donald,

Tell you what - you remember the last time you went too far on this blog, don't you? Perhaps you didn't think Holger was smart enough to figure out who this new "Donald Fagan" was but then again, you've underestimated me in the past.

Well, I've allowed your ass back here but once again you've decided that you couldn't resist crossing the line.

You asked for it, you got it.
Once again.

Let's build that church in the smoldering ruin of mecca, and another in medina.

So let it be written.
So let it be done.
