Two Suicide Bombers Strike Muslim Shrine In Lahore, Pakistan - 35 Killed, 175 Wounded

Can you say, al Qaeda? I ask you, when a Sufi muslim shrine is attacked by suicide bombers while the visitors are washing themselves before prayers, would you consider anyone BUT al Qaeda? Well, according to the report at DAWN, two suicide bombers attacked a huge throng of visitors to a shrine in Lahore, Pakistan today killing 35 people and injuring close to 200.

You gotta understand, al Qaeda represents the "purity" of islam and these Sufis are basically defaming allah in the eyes of the al Qaeda fanatics - plus, a nice bombing at an islamic shrine is sure to add to the chaos in Pakistan that is necessary for the Wahabbists' agendas.

Of course, we won't hear much about this from the Pakistani government but they'll be quick to outrage if one of our predator drones injures a farmer in NW Pakistan.

At least 35 killed in Lahore blasts

LAHORE: At least two suicide bombers attacked a popular shrine in Lahore late Thursday night, killing 35 people and wounding 175 others, the city's top official said.

The attackers struck as thousands of people were visiting the Data Darbar shrine, where a famous Sufi saint is buried.

The first suicide bomber detonated his explosives in a large underground room where visitors sleep and wash themselves before praying, said Khusro Pervez, the top government official in Lahore.

Minutes later, a second bomber detonated his explosives in a large yard upstairs as people tried to flee the first attack, he said.

Police are still investigating the source of a third blast that followed the two suicide bombers.

At least 25 of those wounded in the attacks are in critical condition, said Pervez. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombings. -AP
