Barack Hussein Obama Sends Letter To Palestinians Blaming Israel As Obstacle of Peace

It seems each day that we see that every single speech by Barack Hussein Obama throughout the Presidential campaign voicing his commitment to Israel was a bald faced lie. The actions by our new President towards Israel, one of our strongest allies, has become legend in the past year and now it is revealed by Palestinian officials that they received a letter from Obama stating that he thinks Israel is clearly to blame for the impasse to Middle East peace.

From the story at Israel Today:

US President Barack Obama made clear in a recent letter to the Palestinians that he views Israel as the obstacle to peace and will approach further peace efforts from that point of view, according to senior Palestinian Authority officials.
Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat confirmed for the Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency that such a letter was sent, and that in it Obama "clarified the US stance on the peace process and Israel's intransigence on the issue of settlements."
Erekat said that the letter contained several assurances to the Palestinians, but refused to go into detail.

So now America's President is making "assurances" to the Palestinians? Hmmmm. Barack Hussein Obama is making "assurances" to the blood thirsty killers of innocent women and children? OUR President has taken it upon himself to make "assurances" to the likes of Hamas, Fatah, and Islamic Jihad?

I have blogged here about two separate pieces of communication...one from the House of Representatives and one from the Senate...that strongly reprimand Obama on his posture and position towards Israel but as you can see, nothing is affecting the pro-Islamic position of Obama.

Let's face it folks, this communication to the Palestinians is further evidence of Barack Hussein Obama's background of a community organizer - this is further evidence of his disregard for the will of the majority of Americans. Just like he ignored the majority who did NOT want national healthcare, the majority who do not want cap and trade and the majority who do not want immigration amnesty....Obama is now ignoring the majority of Americans who stand behind Israel and look upon the Palestinians for what they are - terrorists. You see, the community organizer in this man cannot stay hidden. This is a man who truly believes that as long as a small group of people will get behind a cause, that their will must become the law of the land. While millions of Americans look upon his actions towards Israel with disgust and anger, Obama simply focuses on a small group of anti-Semitic protesters shouting down Israeli representatives at a college forum and he gets behind them.

This is what happens when Americans walk into a voting booth and pull the lever for an activist, not a Leader.

Obama tells Palestinians that Israel is to blame

US President Barack Obama made clear in a recent letter to the Palestinians that he views Israel as the obstacle to peace and will approach further peace efforts from that point of view, according to senior Palestinian Authority officials.

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat confirmed for the Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency that such a letter was sent, and that in it Obama "clarified the US stance on the peace process and Israel's intransigence on the issue of settlements."

Erekat said that the letter contained several assurances to the Palestinians, but refused to go into detail.

A day earlier, London newspaper The Guardian reported on what one of those assurances may be - a proposal to start backing official UN condemnation of any and all Israeli "settlement activity."

Washington has traditionally used its veto power to block any UN resolutions that would put Israel in a difficult position vis-à-vis allowing Jews to build on their ancestral and biblical lands. If the US were to stop vetoing such resolutions, which would likely result in an increase in condemnation, Israel could be forced to implement an unofficial Jewish building freeze across the board and for an unlimited amount of time.

That report would seem to fit with the more vague account of assurances another Palestinian official said the letter contained.

PA secretary general Tayeb Abdel Rahim on Sunday told reporters that the letter made the usual commitments to an independent Palestinian state with territorial continuity. Rahim also said that Obama promised to start publicly assigning blame to those he sees holding up peace and to force Israel into indefinitely extending its temporary settlement freeze.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu implemented the 10-month freeze at the behest of Washington in order to test the Palestinians' readiness to return to the negotiating table. When it was first announced last November, US officials praised Netanyahu for taking "unprecedented" steps for peace. Now that it is clear the Palestinians are not going to respond in kind, the Obama administration appears to be blaming Netanyahu for not having done enough.

It's really all for the good. Until now America was pulling Israel's purse strings, and thereby emasculating the leadership in that country. She also reined in Israel from destroying her enemy. Israel does not need anything America has, except maybe some fancy military equipment they could trade with America, for Israel too has her contingent of fancy technology. Now that America is outright against Israel, it'll serve to strengthen the right in that country and bring more of the left to their senses, ie, not to pussyfoot with the enemy.

at the edge,

You make some valid points here and I agree, Israel doesn't need America anymore.

But this whole issue gnaws at me every damn day - it's about allies, it's about friends, it's about brothers in arms. I think each of us in our life has had one friend or family member that we would have been or be willing to die for - and to see America sever that kind of relationship with Israel over a muslim-loving narcissist like Obama makes my blood boil.

This is tragic. The ones who break every peace agreement ever made, the ones who bomb innocent people in pizza parlors and on buses - they are not the obstacle?

The world has gone mad.

Something wicked this way comes.

The US has been the biggest obstacle to peace in the Middle East. Every time Israel was about to achieve complete victory over it's enemies, the US has stopped her. All that has done was give her enemies to regroup and try again. Oh and Iranian nukes I suppose wont be an obstacle to peace either.
