If the Federal Government has decided that it is necessary to intervene in the lives of every American, along with the operation of food manufacturers and restaurants, because of the health costs associated with excessive sodium, then WHY isn't the Federal Government intervening in the bedroom behavior of homosexual men in this country because of the health costs associated with diseases born out of that behavior?

I know what promiscuous means - and I'd bet most people reading this did not marry the first person they had sex with.
I don't want the nanny state telling me I can't order hot wings either. But the idea of the government somehow policing the sexual behavior of consenting adults is absurd and completely unworkable.

Well, i'd have to say it won't be that easy for a Federal inspector to be on MSG police in every Chinese restaurant in America 24/7 either.
My point, which apparently was missed is this...why is the Left so consistently adamant about Government managing every aspect of our lives except their two bastions of "personal freedom" - homosexuality and abortion?
If a moonbat feminist is so adamant about the government staying out of her bedroom or her womb, then she better be true to her word and insist that the government stay out of the business of funding her abortions and STD/AIDS treatments.
