Beirut Bombing Targeted Hamas Official, 1 Dead and Counting

We all know that Hamas operates out of and governs Gaza but what isn't exactly common knowledge is the fact that there are quite a few exiled Hamas leaders living in Lebanon. In fact, Hamas even has offices in Beirut. Well, today... someone sent a message to Hamas that they aren't welcome in Beirut in the form of a bomb planted under a Hamas vehicle that killed at least one. From the report at the BBC:

At least one person has died in a bomb attack in the Lebanese capital Beirut that may have targeted an official from the Palestinian group, Hamas.
Security sources say that explosives went off under a vehicle in a stronghold of Lebanon's Islamist militant group Hezbollah.
A number of people were also wounded in the explosion, one of them seriously.
The Lebanese state news agency says that "three bombs tied to each other" were placed under the vehicle.
A senior police official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the Associated Press Saturday's blast had occurred in a neighbourhood that houses a Hamas office.
While this is wonderful news, the intriguing part is who masterminded and carried this attack out? Was this Hezbollah having some disagreements with their brothers, Hamas? Or, was this further revenge by Fatah al-Islam for the massacres of the Sunnis in the refugee camps a few years ago? Or...was this an Israeli operation to take out a key Hamas leader?

It's my guess that this was Fatah al-Islam and if it was them, we should see them taking credit for this pretty shortly.

Osama Hamdan, the Hamas representative in Lebanon, was not available for comment, according to a person who answered his mobile phone, AP adds.
Hamas, which effectively controls the Gaza Strip inside the Palestinian territories, has representatives both in Beirut and in neighbouring Syria.
