You see, this is what came from the lips of Barack Hussein Obama today (via CBS news):
"President Karzai, as well as the other candidates, I think, have shown that they have the interests of the Afghan people at heart, that this is a reflection of a commitment to rule of law and an insistence that the Afghan people's will should be done. And so I expressed the American people's appreciation for this step," he said.
Let me highlight the critical piece of that quote:
"...and an insistence that the Afghan people's will should be done."
Okay, so Barack Hussein Obama is stating that the key issue is that the will of the Afghan people should be done - that putting politics aside is necessary to support the will of the people. Okay, that's pretty clear.
So let me digress just a moment and show you another quote from a Rasmussen Poll report from October 19, 2009:
Now that the Senate Finance Committee has passed its version of health care reform, 42% of voters nationwide favor the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. That’s down two points from a week ago and down four from the week before.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 54% are opposed to the plan.
Let me now hone in on that important piece there:
"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 54% are opposed to the plan."
Now, I know most of you are already ahead of me but in case there are a few Liberals reading Holger today...I'll spell it out. The big mistake today from Barack Hussein Obama was simply him admitting that above all else, the will of the people is paramount...yet he has yet to concede that the majority of the American people do NOT want national health care as put forth by himself and the Democratic Congress.
Obama simply left himself wide open on this - if the will of the Afghan people trumps the desires of the politicians and heads of state of Afghanistan, why doesn't the will of the American people trump the political desires of Barack Hussein Obama?

They say that young people are all for the health care plan, until they sit down and realize it is going to cost them big time - then the support drops to 3 to 1 against it.
Pretty soon they will all realize just how bad Obama is - the teachers are starting to get a taste of it.
In the meantime, the news stories are all about Obama's lavish parties, while he leaves the fate of soldiers hanging in the wind.
When it comes to Afghanistan, he is making mistakes right and left because he is utterly clueless.
If those were ACORN/Working Families guys whose lives were at risk in the field, he wouldn't be dithering.
Just when you think it can't get much worse - every day it's a new blow.
And why is Obama concerned about Afghan voting irregularities when he is not concerned about Democratic/ACORN voting irregularities in NY, NV, and other states?
