Two Hamas Set To Attack Israel Killed When Their Explosives Go Off...Prematurely

Time for a little bit of good news for the weekend. Two Hamas jihadis planned their "holy war" on Israel for today but a little glitch in the plans occurred and their explosives went off a wee bit early, killing the two inside their camp in Gaza. Now, you just have to love that irony, don't you? I'm not positive, but I'm guessing there weren't a whole lot of "Allahu Ackbars" being chanted after this incident. Here's the full story from Haaretz:

Official: Gaza militants killed in blast en route to 'holy mission'

A Palestinian health official says two Palestinians were killed in an explosion in a Gaza refugee camp. The military wing of the Islamic militant Hamas identified the dead as two of its fighters. It said in a statement that the two were killed while on a holy mission, a phrased used to describe militants on their way to carrying out an attack. The statement did not elaborate.

The blast went off late Friday in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Palestinian Health Ministry official Dr. Moawiya Hassanain confirmed that two men were killed by the blast and that their bodies were taken to a local hospital.
