"It has to cut out these kinds of provocative actions and return to the denuclearization talks," said State Department spokesman Ian Kelly at a news briefing.
That's impressive, huh?! You know, I've gotten to the point that I'm not sure what loss of American life would be sufficient for Obama to act - or if he ever would. I shudder to think what his response would have been on September 12, 2001.
You Obama voters out there...all the rest of us really appreciate your voting for a spineless clown - you wanted to show the world how much you hate this country of ours and with that simple stroke of the pen or manuever of the switch in the voting booth, you did just that. Congrats.
U.S. urges N. Korea to stop provocations, return to 6-way talks+
WASHINGTON, July 2 (AP) - (Kyodo)—The United States pressed North Korea Thursday to discontinue provocations and return to the table for negotiating denuclearization of the reclusive state, after Pyongyang's fresh test- firing of missiles.
"It has to cut out these kinds of provocative actions and return to the denuclearization talks," said State Department spokesman Ian Kelly at a news briefing.
North Korea test-fired four short-range missiles off its east coast earlier in the day into the Sea of Japan, the South Korean Defense Ministry and military officials said.
North Korea last launched a short-range missile on May 29.
The U.N. Security Council last month unanimously adopted a resolution to punish North Korea for its second nuclear test in late May, centering on tougher financial sanctions and the stricter enforcement of North Korean cargo inspections.
