Minnesota Lawmaker Seeks To Revoke Somali Group's Non-Profit Status After Their Assistance To Somali Pirate

Good for Marty Seifert! A lawmaker, a politician who actually gets it and steps up to the plate. A Minnesota-based Somali group, known as the Somali Justice Advocacy Center is behind the contact and act of assistance with the one captured Somali pirate being held in New York on charges of piracy. Specifically, the head of that group, Omar Jamal, has reached out and lined up a legal defense for the scum pirate thug who threatened to blow the brains out of the kidnapped ship captain Phillips and Minnesota State Senator Seifert has decided that Jamal has crossed the line in trying to aid a terrorist...and Siefert now seeks an end to the gravy train for the Somali Justice Advocacy Center as a non-profit organization in Minnesota. But if a Minnesota legislative leader has his way, it will be the last pirate Jamal helps.
Jamal, executive director of the Somali Justice Advocacy Center in St. Paul, said that he spoke Monday with the parents of suspected pirate Abdiwali Abdiqadir Muse and that he has been consulting with Muse's attorneys. He said he intended to be in court Tuesday, but Muse's public defender said his presence wouldn't be necessary.
But House Minority Leader Marty Seifert, R-Marshall, responding to "tons of e-mails" from people he said were outraged by Jamal's actions, said he will seek to block nonprofit status and state grants to any organization that helps foreign citizens accused of piracy or terrorism.
Seifert, who's planning to offer an amendment to the public safety finance bill this week, said he's trying to find out how much public money has gone to Jamal's center in the past three years. "I don't care if he gets $2 in subsidies, it's too much," he said. "Not one dime of taxpayer money if you jet off to New York to support a pirate."

Isn't this great? We have a Somali pirate, a thug, a terrorist who had the audacity to try and hijack a U.S. ship, who then participates in the holding of the ship's captain and when that pirate is captured and the minute he hits U.S. soil, the one person in America who butts in to offer to defend his actions is a home-grown Somali activist who enjoys the benefits of special preference in regards to public money....well, it's good to know that at least one lawmaker isn't fearful of ruffling the Left's feathers.

I'm not going to go into a litany here but just do a "Google" search on Omar Jamal, folks and you will find out that this piece of shit is not exactly a stranger to run ins with the American justice and law enforcement sector - after reading all of the background on this clown, you can see where this guy's intentions lie. I would only hope that not only will the Somali group lose the non-profit status, but that charges be brought up specifically against Jamal for aiding and abetting terrorism.
