Well, it's not like I didn't tell you so ... I don't think the Taliban have EVER, in the history of their miserable existence, maintained any kind of peace accord or ceasefire and they continue to hold that streak intact as the Taliban leader who set up the controversial peace agreement for the Swat Valley of NW Pakistan has announced it's over. Now, this clown will blame the Pakistani government for various things but the reason for the pullout of the agreement is simple - the Taliban simply cannot exist without killing people. My guess is that the Taliban element in Swat needed a good couple of months to nurse their wounds, get in some fresh supplies and have a few strategy meetings so they signed this mockery of an agreement - well, now they are fresh, re-supplied and ready to get back out there bombing girls schools and such. Here's the details from the report at Breitbart:
Now, it's not like this peace agreement was a good thing for the Pakistani government from the get go and it shouldn't have ever been signed but I hope that officials from the Obama administration take heed of this development and understand that there simply is no chance of civil agreements or understandings with the Taliban. They understand only one thing and that is utter and complete defeat.
A leader of the Pakistani Taliban on Thursday announced he is withdrawing from a peace accord between the Taliban and security forces in Pakistan's northwest Swat valley.
Maulana Sufi Mohammad, leader of Tehrik-e-Nifaz Shariat (movement for the enforcement of Islamic laws), told a press conference in Swat that his organization was winding up the peace camps set up in the area to protest against the delaying tactics of the federal government.
Under the accord reached in February, the Taliban agreed to give up militancy in exchange for the enforcement of Islamic law in the restive area near the Afghan border.

Pakistani Taliban pulls out of peace deal
ISLAMABAD, April 9 (AP) - (Kyodo)—A leader of the Pakistani Taliban on Thursday announced he is withdrawing from a peace accord between the Taliban and security forces in Pakistan's northwest Swat valley.
Maulana Sufi Mohammad, leader of Tehrik-e-Nifaz Shariat (movement for the enforcement of Islamic laws), told a press conference in Swat that his organization was winding up the peace camps set up in the area to protest against the delaying tactics of the federal government.
Reports from the area said that the militants had started moving out of the peace camps set up under the deal in Swat.
Under the accord reached in February, the Taliban agreed to give up militancy in exchange for the enforcement of Islamic law in the restive area near the Afghan border.
While the provincial government had forwarded a draft of the agreement to the federal government, it would come into force only if signed by President Asif Zardari.
Human rights organizations in Pakistan and Western countries including the United States had expressed concerns about it.
A provincial government official told reporters in Peshawar that the provincial government would consider the matter.
"We still believe that situation can be saved if President Zardari signs the order for the enforcement of Islamic laws in the area," he said.

It's a fairly common tactic in Islam. When you're getting your ass handed to you, you call for peace. Then, when you're stong enough to win again, you break the peace deal to gain the upper hand.
What !!!! a bunch of islamists renege on a peace agreement, I am shocked, shocked I tell ya. Who has ever heard such a thing !!!
What's the point of making deals with these people?
