Now THIS is excellent news coming out of Gaza - the IAF bombed the home of Hamas' Iman Siam who was the founder of their rocket program and also headed up their artillery program ...Siam was home at the time of the bombing...he hasn't been heard of since....mwahahaha! Here's some of the details from the article at The Jerusalem Post:
The tally of upper level Hamas commanders and leaders continues to grow and this is probably the most successful part of the Israeli operation so far. Don't get me wrong, there's a bunch of 'em left to go but it's been good progress on that end.
At this point, with the limited accounts that I have been able to see coming out of Gaza, it looks to me that the Israelis have been trying to pick off Hamas leadership using airstrikes while the IDF has focused on the biggest strongholds of Hamas around Gaza City and up in northern Gaza. I think part of this is intent in breaking the back of Hamas - to show them that their strongest battalions and most secure points are falling.
The IAF struck the home of one of the founders of Hamas's rocket division on Tuesday morning, as Operation Cast Lead entered its eleventh day.
The IDF said that the terror chief, Iman Siam, was in his house at the time of the air strike in the Jabalya neighborhood of northern Gaza.
The army said that as well as being the founder of Hamas's rocket launching program, he was also the head of the group's artillery program throughout the Gaza Strip.

At least 10 Hamas and Islamic Jihad gunmen were killed in other Gaza battles early Tuesday, the IDF said. Palestinians put the number of fatalities at 25.
