British Military Says Taliban Used Boy To Detonate Suicide Bomb That Killed 3 Troops

British commanders in Helmand province of Afghanistan are saying that the suicide bomb attack that killed three British troops was conducted by a young boy sent to do his deed by the Taliban. Of course, the slimeballs at Taliban HQ are denying that. Here's some of the details from the article at International Herald Tribune:

Military officials said over the weekend that an attack on British marines in southern Afghanistan was carried out by a boy who was carrying a bomb hidden under newspapers.
The attack, which killed three British marines in Helmand Province on Friday morning, was condemned by Prime Minister Gordon Brown of Britain in a surprise visit to the province on Saturday. He accused the Taliban of "cowardly behavior" for using a child as a suicide bomber.

Now, take a look at the Taliban response:

A Taliban spokesman, Qari Yousef, denied that the bomber was a child and said that the militant group had enough adult fighters willing to sacrifice their lives, CNN reported.

Well shitbag, Yousef, I don't doubt that you have a whole breadline of moronic adults willing to blow themselves up but you know, and we know, that NONE of them would have gotten within 200 yards of these British troops and that is why you sent a young boy in to do your dirty work.

Is there anyone out there that doubts that the Taliban sent this young kid in to die purely from a strategic planning point of view? The Taliban are no different than al Qaeda in Iraq who have sent women in for suicide bombers - it's all about getting close to the target. I personally have seen several videos of teen age boys sent on Taliban bombing missions so these denials by the pigs of the Taliban ring empty. Liars they are, always a pack of liars.

Taliban used boy to plant bomb, Britain charges

KABUL: Military officials said over the weekend that an attack on British marines in southern Afghanistan was carried out by a boy who was carrying a bomb hidden under newspapers.
The attack, which killed three British marines in Helmand Province on Friday morning, was condemned by Prime Minister Gordon Brown of Britain in a surprise visit to the province on Saturday. He accused the Taliban of "cowardly behavior" for using a child as a suicide bomber.
A Taliban spokesman, Qari Yousef, denied that the bomber was a child and said that the militant group had enough adult fighters willing to sacrifice their lives, CNN reported.
Although sophisticated suicide attacks, including the use of young bombers, are more prevalent in Iraq, the Taliban have previously recruited students from religious schools to carry out strikes in Afghanistan.
In October, Afghan intelligence officers arrested two teenage boys, including one from Helmand Province, for planning a suicide attack against foreign soldiers. Dawoud Ahmadi, a spokesman for the governor of Helmand Province, said it was "not impossible to believe" that the attack on Friday was carried out by a child, but he refrained from drawing any conclusions.

On Sunday, The Associated Press reported that a bomb hidden in a wooden cart like street vendors use exploded in Kandahar, Afghanistan's largest southern city, killing three police officers and wounding at least 11 others. The attack targeted a police vehicle, said Zalmai Ayubi, a government spokesman.
