It's taken awhile but the al Qaeda in Iraq leader, who masterminded the attack on a U.S. convoy in 2004 in which Staff Sgt. Matt Maupin was abducted and then killed, has finally been brought to justice. Hajji Hammadi, the al Qaeda leader guilty of Maupin's death, was killed along with another jihadist on November 11th.
Here's a bit of the detail from Breitbart:
Hammadi is also linked to an attack this past summer that killed three U.S. Marines so there is even more revenge with this piece of filth finally being laid out on a cold slab.
The surprising thing here is that a prime target like this guy is still in Iraq. I, personally, think that there are some al Qaeda in Iraq leaders who simply have no where to go - they can't risk returning to their homelands and some of them don't have the guts to head to the battlefields of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

US raid kills Iraqi blamed in 2004 reservist death
BAGHDAD (AP) - The U.S. military says an Iraqi al-Qaida in Iraq leader blamed in the 2004 abduction and murder of an Army reservist has been killed.
The military says Hajji Hammadi is linked to the killing of Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Matt Maupin and was the mastermind behind a June 26 attack that killed three U.S. Marines, two interpreters and more than 20 Iraqis in Anbar.
Maupin was a 20-year-old private first class when his fuel convoy was attacked by insurgents in Iraq in April 2004. His remains were found in March northwest of Baghdad.
Thursday's statement says Hammadi was killed with another armed insurgent on Nov. 11 in a raid by U.S. forces in Baghdad's Mansour neighborhood. Five others were detained.

Ditto. Justice has FINALLY prevailed now that Hajji Hammadi has met his maker and is burning in hell. All the families that lost loved ones because of this piece of shit, can now have some kind of closure, if that is really possible with such barbaric circumstances. The more sites that people see with news like this, opens human eyes that sick fucks like Hajji Hammadi MUST leave this earth and that we ALL have to support our Troops for their services in getting the job done.
God Bless America!!!!
