Congressman Barney Frank Calls For 25% Reduction In Defense Spending

Well folks, we have here the second most dangerous person in the United States - Congressman Barney Frank (D) who has now called for a 25% reduction in defense spending. By the way, the MOST dangerous person in the United States continues to be Barack Hussein Obama.

From The Hill's Briefing Room comes this about Frank's comments:

Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) said Democrats will push for a stimulus package after the November election, and called for a package reducing defense spending by 25 percent while saying Congress will "eventually" raise taxes.
Frank told the editorial board of the SouthCoast Standard-Times that he wanted to reduce defense spending by a quarter, meaning the United States would have to withdraw from Iraq sooner.
"The people of Iraq want us out, and we want to stay over their objection," he said. "It's extraordinary."

Many of us knew that the Democrats, if given power in all of Congress as well as the White House would cut defense spending....I just didn't think someone like Frank would start this early with the plan. We have troops in Iraq, we have troops in Afghanistan, we have Iran on the brink of starting WW3 and we have millions of islamic jihadists around the world bent on conquering the West and Barney Frank calls for a 25% reduction in protecting Americans. I will never cease to be amazed at how these radical Leftist Democrats are so eager to offer the American people up as sacrifical lambs in the name of Marxism.

Frank Calls for Major Defense Cuts, 'Eventual' Tax Hikes

Frank also said the post-election stimulus package will focus on spending for building projects, extending unemployment benefits, and further supporting states' healthcare costs. "We'll have to raise taxes ultimately," Frank said. "Not now, but eventually." Frank told the Standard-Times that if Democrats cannot secure the votes they need in November, they will try again in January, when they will likely have stronger majorities in the House and Senate.
Frank, the Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, was an instrumental figure in engineering the bailout legislation to the U.S. financial industry, and indicated a new package may seek to ameliorate fears about investing. "The psychological problem is even worse than the real problem," Frank said.

Barney Frank is a crook who bears much responsibility for the economic troubles we're currently in. Going against warnings, the democrat leadership, with ACORN pushing all the way, forced banks to make bad loans to support their socialistic 'Bread and circuses' thinking.

And now that this has tumbled around their feet and poisoned our economy, the democrats have to gall to point their fingers elsewhere. What hypocrites and liars, as always.

Barny Frank is an idiot when it comes to our economy - and he is an idiot when it comes to our nation's defense. No surprise there.

If B. Hussein Obama gets elected, this type of madness will become the norm. Welcome to socialism - brought to you by the loons who took over the democratic party.

Interesting insight into the mind of B. Hussein's buddy Ayers...

Ayers' group foresaw genocide of capitalists
Informer says communist U.S. envisioned, re-education centers, 25 million 'eliminated'

Brent,

One day, believe me, Barney Frank will get his. It might not be this year or next, but he will pay the piper.
