Friday just got a lot better as the U.S. conducted another missile strike inside of Pakistan targeting a known hangout for Taliban and foreign jihadists. Latest report, featured here at Reuters, has the death toll of jihadists/Taliban at 16. That is a nice day's work in anyone's book!
It's a brief report so I'll excerpt it in its entirety below:
I tell ya, the Taliban in Pakistan gotta be freaking out. They have one of their top leaders, Baitullah Mehsud, either dead or on his last legs...they have predator UAV's buzzing overhead dropping hellfires about every other day and when they look at the sky, they see the sun setting earlier every night and before they know it, they are gonna be waist deep in snow.

U.S. missile strike kills 16 foreigners in Pakistan: report
ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - A U.S. missile strike in a Pakistani tribal region known as a haven for Taliban and al Qaeda fighters killed up to 21 people, including 16 foreigners, on Friday, Dawn News television channel reported.
Pakistani intelligence officials had earlier told Reuters that at least five people were killed in the missile attack that targeted a tribesman's house in the village of Mohammad Khel, 30 km west of Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan.
Pakistani military spokesman Major-General Athar Abbas said he had no information on the strike, though the intelligence sources gave specific information, naming the tribesman whose house was hit.
