Unbelievable. When the story first broke that the Taliban had killed the three female aid workers in Afghanistan, I really wasn't sure if they would even claim responsibility for such a cold-blooded and cowardly act, yet not only did the Taliban claim it, they have now tried to leverage it to get Canada to retreat from Afghanistan. Here's a little of the detail from Breitbart:
Well, if I can speak two words to the Taliban for the Canadians here...."FUCK YOU!" And I am fairly confident that the Canadian government isn't going to heed this threat from the Taliban. In fact, I'm willing to wager that this murderous act along with this obscene threat from the Taliban will solidify the Canadian commitment to Afghanistan for twice as long as it would have before.
What the Taliban don't understand is that the United States and Canada are not countries like Italy and France and Spain. We have back bone. We have convictions and we know wrong from right. And the Taliban, who have seen these kind of tactics work with the Italians and the French and the South Koreans, know by now that it doesn't work when dealing with the United States and this time around, they will find out it doesn't work with the Canadians, either.
Hopefully, Canada won't make me eat these words.
The Taliban say Canada must pull out of Afghanistan or face more attacks like the one that killed two Canadian aid workers.
In an open letter addressed to "the Canadian people," the Islamic fundamentalist group said Canada "sacrificed" its self-respect by following the "American" agenda.
The Taliban are urging Canadians to press the government to "put an end to the occupation of Afghanistan."

Taliban vow to boost attacks against Cdns. unless they leave Afghanistan
KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - The Taliban say Canada must pull out of Afghanistan or face more attacks like the one that killed two Canadian aid workers.
In an open letter addressed to "the Canadian people," the Islamic fundamentalist group said Canada "sacrificed" its self-respect by following the "American" agenda.
The Taliban are urging Canadians to press the government to "put an end to the occupation of Afghanistan."
In the letter, Qari Muhammad Yussef says the Taliban don't want to kill Canadians but are forced to because Canadians are killing innocent Afghans.
The warning comes just days after three aid workers, including two Canadians, were gunned down by insurgents in Logar province.
It happened about two weeks after Canadian troops accidentally shot two children to death in the Panjwaii district of Kandahar, fearing the vehicle they were riding in was going to attack them.

There is a response to the Taliban statement posted at:
http://mostlywater.org/a_response_open_letter_afghan_resistance_canadian_people
anonymous,
The Canadian who wrote that response should be escorted to a cruise ship docked at St. John, New Brunswick that is headed to Pakistan. Then he can find his way north to Afghanistan where he can sit on a mountain top with his Taliban brothers and he can personally participate in the beheading of Afghan women, the bombing of Afghan children and the perversion of all of Taliban activities.
If you run into him , "anonymous", tell him 'bon voyage' for me.
