Well, China...welcome to the world of terror. Two buses in the Chinese city of Kunming were hit by explosions that killed two and wounded many others - there is no question these were terrorist attacks. Sketchy details at this point but let's look at what Sky News has out there:
Now, I have no information that says this was islamic jihadists involved in this but the only group that China appears to be at odds with right now are the muslims in western provinces. At the same time, it does validate that this was in a smaller city. And although there was another bombing in china a few months ago, this type of attack has to be taking the Chinese off guard. With the Olympics just around the corner, we have a government in China who is reacting to terror in a way that shows just how confused they are. Look at this blurb about what the Chinese have done in Beijing:
Can you believe that? Surface to air missiles? Do they think al Qaeda type jihadists are gonna fly an F-16 into Beijing?! I'm sure the Chinese haven't reached out to any terrorism experts but for pete's sakes, there has to be more than one country who is nervous about sending their athletes into this powder keg.
"According to preliminary investigations, the explosions were cases of man-made, deliberate sabotage," a spokesman with the Yunnan Public Security Bureau told news agency AFP by phone.
The first blast occurred at about 7am when the vehicle was at a bus stop, killing one woman and injuring 10 other people.
The second blast came about an hour later on the same road and killed one man, injuring four others, according to the statement.
Footage broadcast on state-run television showed a large hole blown in the side of one of the buses and extensive damage to its interior.

Surface to air missiles batteries have been deployed around the main Olympic venues. One hundred thousand People’s Armed Police and Special Forces Units have descended on the capital.

China Rocked By Bus Explosions
The blasts occurred about an hour apart during morning rush hour traffic in downtown Kunming, the capital of southwest China's Yunnan province, the city's police department said in a statement.
Following the blasts, police reportedly cordoned off some streets in the area and carried out identity checks in a search of any "suspicious" persons.

It is the second time an explosion on a bus has been reported in China in recent months.
In May, three people died when a public bus in Shanghai burst into flames.
China has dramatically tightened security in Beijing and throughout the country ahead of the Olympics -- which begin on August 8 -- amid concerns over terrorism and social unrest.
