Israeli Air Strike In Gaza Kills Hamas Commander Who Was Part Of Shalit Operation

Some of you may remember me writing a number of weeks ago about the Jerusalem seminary massacre where I made a point that the Israelis weren't going to rush into Gaza or the West Bank and shoot up the countryside in retaliation, but that they would methodically find out the responsible parties ALL the way up the ladder and a list would be made of those names. And that they would all be taken out in due time.

Well, today, was proof of the Israelis making good on an old score against Nafez Mansour, a Hamas commander who was involved in the capture of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit - two and a half years ago. Mansour was killed in an air strike in Gaza per this excerpt from the article here at Reuters:

An Israeli air strike on Thursday killed a Hamas commander who, the Israeli military said, was involved in the 2006 capture of a soldier still being held by Gaza militants.
"The Israel Defence Forces targeted ... Nafez Mansour, a Hamas terror operative," an Israeli military statement said.
Hamas and medical workers said a missile fired by an Israeli aircraft killed Mansour, a local field commander, as he was walking through Rafah refugee camp near the Gaza Strip's border with Egypt.

So, for all of the Hamas and/or Hezbollah and/or Islamic Jihad and/or Iranians involved in the planning and execution of the Israeli students at the seminary in Jerusalem, let this be a warning or more like a fate for you. Two, maybe even three or four, years from now...just when you think you don't have to worry anymore about a threat, you'll go out for a little stroll...or maybe you will go for a ride in the car on a clear, sunny Saturday afternoon and BAM. You are dead.

Israeli strike kills Hamas militant in Gaza Strip

GAZA (Reuters) - An Israeli air strike on Thursday killed a Hamas commander who, the Israeli military said, was involved in the 2006 capture of a soldier still being held by Gaza militants.
The attack coincided with Egyptian efforts to broker a ceasefire between Palestinian militants in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip and Israel.
"Mansour was involved, among other attacks, in the capture of Gilad Shalit," the statement said, referring to the soldier seized by militants who tunneled into Israel from the Gaza Strip in 2006.
The statement gave no details about Mansour's alleged role in the operation.
