Iraqi Delegation To Iran Gets Duped By Persians

Good grief. There was all this hullabaloo about an Iraqi delegation going to Iran to express their concerns about Iran's involvement in the Iraq War - they were said to be bringing PROOF that the Iranians are directly involved in the killing in all of Iraq, and this is what the head of that Iraqi delegation had to say upon his return from Tehran:

"The delegation saw a positive stance from the brothers in Iran to support the government's efforts in extending the sovereignty of the state and to fight the outlaws," the delegation head said.

I wonder if this chump checked his watch to see if it was still on his wrist when he got home?! I mean how ridiculous is this? U.S. and Iraqi forces have piles of Iranian weapons in Iraq, they have examples of IED technology from Iran, they have captured Iranian Quds officers inside of Iraq and they have numerous captives who have admitted to their being trained in Iran and then returned to fight the jihad in Iraq. Yet this band of morons makes the trip to Tehran and they get back to tell the World that their "brothers" in Persia are right in their camp.

I'm convinced that if a person sets foot in Iran, you go through some sort of mindmeld process that turns you into an Iranian supporter - that could explain how the British marines captured turned into giggling school kids.

Iraq delegation says Iran backs militant crackdown

Iran supports the Iraqi government in its fight against militants, the head of a delegation from Iraq's ruling Shi'ite alliance said on Saturday after returning from a visit to Tehran.

Members of the United Iraqi Alliance had said the delegation was sent to Tehran to tell Iran to stop backing Shi'ite militias. "The delegation saw a positive stance from the brothers in Iran to support the government's efforts in extending the sovereignty of the state and to fight the outlaws," the delegation head said.
