Key Senior Al Qaeda In Iraq Leader Nabbed In Western Iraq

HUGE NEWS! Yes! This is just more of the same good news that we seem to hear every week about al Qaeda in Iraq losing another senior leader - either shot dead or captured and believe me, when they get this chump to sing like a canary, he's gonna have a TON to tell the U.S. command!
Here's the info from the press release:

Iraqi police on Wednesday arrested a senior militant and close aide of Al-Qaeda in Iraq chief Abu Ayyub al-Masri in western Iraq's Anbar province, the provincial police chief said.
Major General Tareq al-Youssef said Nazal Sabar al-Jughaify, also known as Abu al-Jarrah, was arrested in the town of Haditha after police ambushed him following a tipoff from local citizens.
"Abu Jarrah is one of the main financiers of Al-Qaeda in Iraq and also a senior lieutenant of Abu Ayyub al-Masri," Youssef told AFP in the provincial capital of Ramadi.
NOTE TO HOLGER READERS: Abu Ayyub al-Masri is NOT the same al Qaeda leader as the al-Masri that was found dead in Pakistan today. Same last name, same piece of shit alliance to al Qaeda, but this al-Masri is very much alive.

Two things to note here - again, we are benefitting from a tip from an Iraqi citizen - this has been key as the Awakening councils have encouraged the Iraqi people to turn in the slugs from al Qaeda. The second thing is that due to al-Jarrah's close ties to al Qaeda in Iraq leader al-Masri, the U.S. and Iraqi forces might just be able to hone in on the top dog, al-Masri. We saw how detrimental it was to al Qaeda in Iraq when we bombed the shit out of al-Zarqawi - it took them months and months to recover from that loss and quite frankly, if al-Masri hadn't come along, it would have taken much longer, thus we need al-Masri's DNA scattered around quickly.

Look for some very big inroads being made into al Qaeda hiding places and weapons caches in the next two weeks as this blight on humanity spills his guts.

Here's the full story from AFP.

Top Qaeda militant arrested in western Iraq: police

RAMADI, Iraq (AFP) — Iraqi police on Wednesday arrested a senior militant and close aide of Al-Qaeda in Iraq chief Abu Ayyub al-Masri in western Iraq's Anbar province, the provincial police chief said.
Youssef said Jughaify, an Iraqi, had returned recently from Syria.
Anbar province was a former stronghold of Al-Qaeda-led insurgents fighting US forces.
But since September 2006, the local Sunni Arabs from the province, who were the main supporters of the militant group, have sided with the US military in fighting the group.

shane,

Couldn't agree with you more..only thing I could ask for is that we see 2 the next day, 3 the next, 4 the next...and so on. I want to see the day when NO al Qaeda in Iraq leaders are left and the minions are mowed down like a patch of weeds.
