House Democrats Working To Aid Terrorism In America

I don't care what anyone says about President Bush's willy nilly spending patterns over the past 7 years or his inability to rally conservatives or his indefensible stance on immigration...our Country is going to miss this man's staunch defense of this Country against terrorism. George W. Bush has not backed down one iota under basically a five year onslaught by not only Democrats but a few disgraceful Republicans as well in regards to pushing every envelope to protect the American people. I have no doubt that if America elects Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, there will be an islamic jihadist attack on America within 1 year of their taking office.

The latest fight is over the Protect America Act. Bush is adamant that the act that frees up regulations on wire tapping remain in place and of course, the Democrats in the House of Representatives are doing their best to make it go away. Those Democrats are willing to sacrifice another 3,000 innocent Americans so that one of their House members isn't at risk of having his pediophile seduction of a 14 year old taped on his House office phone.

The full story of this battle is here at Yahoo but I want to showcase not only the audacity of the Democrats but the yellow belly nature of them:

"Because the orders will not expire until August and because we just received the Senate bill on Tuesday, the course will now be to move to a conference with the Senate and get the best bill that protects the country and our Constitution," a House Democratic official said on the condition his name not be used because he was discussing internal Democratic plans.
Get that? This chicken shit Leftist doesn't even have the stones to let them use his name. Perhaps he's nervous that people like me will plaster his name in weekly blog postings for a year until his ass is hung from a tree in retribution for his treason.

Bush criticizes Congress on terror bill

The president and House Democrats are engaged in a game of political brinkmanship, each blaming the other for the pending expiration of a key intelligence law. The president argued that the House has plenty of time to pass a bill.
"If we have to delay (the trip), we'll delay," said Bush, who is scheduled to leave for Africa Friday afternoon.

"There is really no excuse for letting this critical legislation expire," Bush said, his second statement on the bill at the White House in two days.
Rather than wait for the House and Senate to negotiate differences in their versions of the intelligence legislation, Bush wants a rubber-stamp of the Senate bill so he can sign it into law immediately. Bush has said he will not approve another extension, and House Republicans helped defeat a 21-day extension of the law on Thursday.
Bush said that "it would be a mistake" if Congress allowed the law to expire. "Members of Congress knew all along that this deadline was approaching. They set it themselves. They've had more than six months to discuss and deliberate. And now they must act."
