Jordanian King & Turkish Prez Meet: Israel Bashing

First off, this is total bullshit. Secondly, these two countries, Jordan and Turkey have always been much more aligned with the U.S. than most other Arab/muslim countries so it is very disappointing to see these results of talks between Jordan's King Abdullah II and Turkey's President Gul.

The bullshit? Well, these two clowns are all up in arms over Israeli plans to put more settlement housing into East Jerusalem. Both Abdullah II and Gul cry foul over one thing they saw as a "win" at Annapolis. You'll notice they don't seem to be too adamant about any concessions on the Arab side. Secondly, look at the ridiculous agreement they came to on terrorism in the region here:

The two sides condemned all threats to regional security, especially on the issue of terrorism in all its forms, including the terrorist attacks of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).

What the fuck is that??!!! You have Hezbollah, Hamas, al Qaeda in Iraq, Fatah and now al Qaeda in Gaza and these idiots only want to point a finger at the PKK? This shows how chickenshit Abdullah II is and Gul only cares about an extermination of the Kurds.

If I was Israeli PM, I'd send a note to Abdullah II and Gul acknowledging that I read their remarks and that now, based on all of this hot air, Israel will DOUBLE the planned settlements in E. Jerusalem!

Here's the full article from Breitbart:

King, Turkish President condemn Israeli move to build 300 settlement units in Ea Jerusalem

(Petra)-- His Majesty King Abdullah II and Turkish President Abdullah Gul condemned Israel's intention to build 300 settlement units in Jabal Abu Ghneim in East Jerusalem. During their talks in Ankara on Teusdat, the two leaders said that this step is an obstacle in the way of achieving peace and of building confidence, especially after Annapolis Peace Conference which was held in the United States last month. In statements to reporters, His Majesty King Abdullah II said that the United States should bear the responsibility on each party for what they pledged in Annapolis. His Majesty added that the negotiations in Annapolis must be accompanied by the implementation of the commitments of each party on the ground, including the cessation of Israeli settlement activities in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. For his part, President Gul said that the news about settlement units shocked the world, because it is clear and flagrant violation of Annapolis, expressing his hope that Israel will backtrack on its decision because any party must not impede the peace process. The two leaders had discussed, during the talks which exceeded ninety minutes, many important developments in the Middle East, where they expressed that the Annapolis must be the beginning of a process that leads to the establishment of a Palestinian state in 2008 through intensive negotiations.

The two leaders stressed the importance of progress in the Syrian and Lebanese tracks of the peace process. The two sides condemned all threats to regional security, especially on the issue of terrorism in all its forms, including the terrorist attacks of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). For his part, Gul said that the visit of His Majesty the King of Turkey is important, especially in light of developments in the peace process, as it granted the two countries an opportunity to accelerate political and economic relations. He added that he discussed with His Majesty what the two countries can do together to push the peace process, expressing his belief that the relationship of Jordan with other states in the region would contribute to peacemaking and regional stability.
